We couldn't be happier with the work done by Reliable Home Improvement! From start to finish, the entire experience was outstanding. They repaired all of the dry rot on our home and then did a beautiful job painting the exterior. The quality of their work and attention to detail really showed. A special thank you to Airean, the foreman, who was professional, organized, and wonderful to work with throughout the entire project. Alberto, Steve, and Marc were an incredible team -- hardworking, courteous, respectful, and clearly took pride in what they were doing. We also want to recognize Anthony, who came out to handle the dry rot repairs. He did an excellent job and was extremely professional. Every member of the crew was friendly, respectful, dependable, and professional. They kept us informed, took care with our home, and made what could have been a stressful project feel easy. Our house looks absolutely beautiful, and we are so pleased with the results. Reliable Home Improvement truly lives up to their name! We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality workmanship and a professional, hardworking team. Thank you to Airean, Alberto, Steve, Marc, Anthony, and everyone at Reliable Home Improvement for a fantastic job! read more

We met Reliable at the Cal Expo Home Show and were interested in getting a Titan security screen door installed. They came out to Elk Grove and made the whole process easy. The door looks incredible -- exactly what we were hoping for. Great pricing, super professional, quick, on time, and excellent communication throughout. Shout out to Trevor for the initial quote -- straightforward and easy to work with. Caeser and Dean did an outstanding job on the install -- clean, efficient, and high-quality work. Also appreciate Jerry, the project manager, for keeping everything on track. Great team, great work. Highly recommend. read more

I'm very happy with the work Reliable has done on my condo. Jerry's team did a great job with my kitchen sliding glass door. Shortly after the installation, Jerry came back to my house for a few adjustments on the door to make sure I was 100% happy with everything. I also want to compliment the highly detailed work Brant did installing led lighting in my living room and kitchen. He knew exactly where to place recessed lighting to illuminate my very dark living room. The last project I did with Reliable was a new shower tub and floor for my bathroom. Donavan did really nice tile work. The man is a real artist. He had good ideas on how to shape the shower niche that I wanted installed. read more

SO the saga continues. Bell Brothers has been at my home redoing Reliables "good work" all morning. Had to get an entire replacement coil, pump, and i dont know what else for the AC unit they "installed". Bell Brothers keeps asking me who is responsible for this level of work, I keep telling them it was Reliable. They understood better after I explained how Reliable installed the water heater wrong so it flooded, and the year it took to fix the super expensive sliding doors as well, it seemed to make more sense to them. read more

Reliable Home Improvement - Bubbling and leaking from the incredible installation job. - Roofing Near Me - Citrus Heights, California

Pat did a phenomenal job with the gutters!! They look amazing!! We were to have gotten a new slider for two rooms and closet doors, but we never received any updates, so we decided not to go w closet doors, leaving sliders qnd requested a price breakdown and that was hard to get, the prices kept fluctuating, and communication wasn't the best, plus the price for a slider, eventually priced closer to 10k..too much. So we canceled, but are extremely happy w the gutters! read more

I had high hopes for this local family-run business, but unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. From the beginning, the workers showed little regard for our home and property. They were messy, careless, and at times RUDE. The project manager did not come to check on the job until we called the office to complain, and even then, we never saw meaningful communication between the manager and the workers. As costumers, we expected better oversight and professionalism. We strongly recommend anyone considering doing business with this company to read the contract very carefully, particularly the section regarding property damage. We were surprised to learn how limited the company's responsibility is for damage to a costumers property leaving very little incentive for workers to take the care they should with someone else's home. The owner initially seemed like a nice and personable guy, but his attitude changed considerably once we voiced our concerns. We found his response unprofessional and disappointing. We truly wanted to have a positive experience and to support local business, which makes this whole experience even more disappointing. read more

We hired Reliable Home improvement to replace our roof, new front door and paint the entire exterior of our home. Every encounter was a positive experience. The design consultant, Christian, was friendly, honest and quick to respond to any questions and concerns. He and I were able to find a price point that worked in our budget. Next were all the project managers, Jerry (doors), Jeremiah W (roof) and Pat (paint). All were excellent with communication. We met all three prior to the start of any projects and they were knowledgeable about their area of expertise. They were spot on with their timing of projects. All three had a good rapport with their team. The roof team was the first team to start. David H, Tyler J, Jorge, James, Jeremia H, and Elmer took the time to answer all our questions and helped find the best spot for our Star link. They arrived every morning like clockwork at the time agreed upon. We have a very challenging roof with a high pitch and a turret which the guys tackled with ease. My only concern was all the nails and staples which the guys used a magnet to collect. This team always went above what was expected and honest every step of the way. Next came the paint team Airean, Steve, Marc and Alberto. Another awesome team! The attention to detail was evident every day and a true delight to work with. This team arrived every morning ready to begin the day. Airean always made sure to communicate the plan for the day either in the morning or the evening before. The door team came in between the other teams. I can't remember their names other than Jerry. I was really nervous about the front door going into the turret since the original door never really fit nice. Like everything on our home, it takes longer than expected to complete a project. With that , the new door fit in Perfect! We love it! Jerry the manager had to come finish a minor repair that was not a big deal. I would highly recommend the roof, door and paint teams from Reliable Home Improvement. We are very pleased with the work that was completed on our home. read more

After reading some of these reviews, I'm so thankful I never got to the hour's long sales pitch. They knocked on the door, I met with an estimator the next day. Very simple job, replace some clogged up drainage. To my surprise, instead of just telling, texting, emailing me the quote; he wanted to go inside, sit down and have a conversation about it. I've been around long enough to know that means an unnecessary, long, potentially high-pressure sales pitch in lieu of competative pricing. He was very insistant and instead of just agreeing to give me a quote, we parted ways. That told me all I needed to know. read more

This job was actually done about a year ago, but I wanted to post my experience along with how happy I was with the quality in how nice my house paint job came out. This was the second time I hired reliable home improvement to do a job completion. I live in a community where we all had to have our house painted because it had been 16 years when I bought new and my house paint was starting to fade badly and endanger of the framing of the house and Wood areas going bad because the paint was also starting to chip away. There were guidelines and certain colors and structure we had to follow for the my HOA. I couldn't have been more excited and happy how everything came out and I loved the color combination and helpful ideas that I received from reliable home improvement. A big shout out and thank you to Tim A, and rest of the painting staff for making my home beautiful again. read more

Jeff from Reliable Home Improvement came to our door and asked if we needed any home improvements , I said we have some dry-rot can you give me a quote? Next thing I know this young man named Dallas came out and met with my husband and myself. Dallas was amazing, very professional and personable. Dallas worked with us and we ended up getting our dry-rot fixed and our exterior house painted. The Project manager Pat was great! The dry-rot crew Anthony and Charles were wonderful, communicated very efficiently and did a fantastic job. Airean the painter was amazing, he answered all my questions and was so meticulous about the job he was doing. Airean has a wonderful crew, Alberto, David and Jazani worked so well together. We were just so impressed by Airean. The whole process was amazing. We are so happy with job that we contacted Dallas again for a window replacement quote. Next thing you know Jerry contacted us and we ended up getting 6 new windows in the front of our house and 3 windows ind our bedroom also a new slider. Jerry and his crew Anthony and Vincent did such an amazing job. I would recommend Reliable Home Improvement for any house hold improvements you may need. They all were so professional and dependable as well as they paid attention to detail. read more

Excellent product, wonderful service. Would definitely recommend this company for projects!!!

I've now completed two big home projects with Reliable, and I am just as impressed the second time as I was the first. In 2022, they replaced all the siding and painted my home. This year, they removed my entire concrete patio and installed a beautiful new one. The craftsmanship and care were exceptional both times. Everything starts strong with Taylor Thorn, their design consultant. He listens guides, and help you understand every option. I trulyy woiuldnt begin a project without him. My Project Manager, Patrick Bedford, was wonderful, responsive, professional an on top of every detail from start to finish. And I can't say enough about the crew who worked on my pati:j David Harrison Nicoli Bautin, Tyler Johnson, and Joseph Woodruff. They were considerate, respectful, hardworking, and a pleasure to have around my home. Reliable genuinely feels like a family, and I am proud to be a returning customer. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again for future projects. Thank you, Reliable Family! read more

Reliable is not so reliable. They were scheduled for August 25, 7:30. Two guys showed up but the equipment to take out the driveway didn't show up until 9:15. The next day the driveway was poured, and they did a good job. But they left ditches on on the sides and broke a sprinkler. I called Patrick, left him a message telling him about the sprinkler and asking him where the dirt was to fill in the sides. A week later, I called him again. He answered and said that he got my message. I told him I had had the sprinkler fixed and he said he would reimburse me for the charge and that the dirt would be on the way. I called the company number, and explained all this, and was told it would be sent up to the owner. It is now October, and I have still heard nothing, I don't have my dirt, and I have not been reimbursed. read more

RELIABLE Home Improvement? That's a joke in itself. Where do I begin with this review? I promise I won't bore you with a long story, so for those just wanting a quick review, here it is: these guys are mediocre. Once they get their money, they ghost you and don't care about you. They give you a 5 year warranty, but will draw it out and ignore your concerns and their mistakes. I got my house worked on by them last year, which by the way, the team themselves did not communicate with each other on what needed to get done, so the cost fluctuated three times. They do the job, but as time went by, I noticed mishaps with the house. First, my 1st floor bedroom's ceiling started to leak. I called them and thought it was a window leak, but it was because they jammed my dryer vent lid open during the entire fall/winter season and water and gunk had been blown up there. I told them to please fix their mistake and they said they would, but kept putting me off. Patrick, the head project manager then said he would only replace the lid, but not fix the ceiling. I ask him to fix their mistake and he just ghosted me. Secondly, my side fence was blown over during the winter because they didn't nail it into the house or any post! The side fence blew down and damaged the molding. They took a week to get there and put it up, but didn't change or smooth out the molding. The dents are still there. This company is unreliable and if I could give them zero stars, I would. They may have done some good work, but a project worth $50k should have been taken more seriously. I will not be working with them again. They have my number. read more

We had a large driveway and walkway replaced, as the existing was breaking up. Reliable's crew removed the existing, cut out many large redwood tree roots, installed several drainage inlets and piping to the street gutter. I was impressed about how hard they worked nonstop. Rebar 2'x2', compacted base and full 3.5 inch concrete. The concrete work was excellent. We provided a sketch as to how we would like the expansion joints to be done; somewhat complicated. Turned out great. Thank you Ryan and team. read more

In the early winter of 2023 the Reliable Home Improvement came to our house to resolve the issue with the patio roof, and whole fixing the roof they have destroyed the patio - it has slides of the main structure/house that it was attached to creating hazardous conditions for my little kids and the rest of the family if we were to use it. This business claims to have the warranty-resolve any issues within 5 years from the time the job done, but they do not follow their own guarantee guideline. Multiple times we tried to contact them but the owner has never responded or took ownership of the bad job done. We paid them $7k. And after the issues they created with patio we had to pay another $7k to fix it. Their excuse was that this was unauthorized structure. How come they have never brought it up to our attention until after they damaged it more than fixed, and collected their payment ‍‍‍We bought this house and did not know that. It was expensive but they did a nice job on remodeling my bathroom. The technician was very good and professional. The reason I did not give them a 5 was because I have a crackling noise in the wall. I called 3 different people in their company, but nobody returned my call. I had to repair the problem myself. They were very helpful in picking materials for the remodel. They just failed in follow up support. I called them also to ask if a final inspection by the county was necessary, but they never returned my call. I did not use this company. Their representative was friendly enough. I just wanted an estimate to install a security door. He ended up writing a work order and I felt highly pressured to go with this company without getting other bids for the job. Needed to replace my single pane windows and decided to go with Reliable. James and Joe came out to discuss the projects I was interested in and they were so friendly, patient, professional, listened to my concerns and answered all the questions I had. I truly enjoyed their easy going nature - no pressure at all and straight up! They explained the process thoroughly. They also offer financing. Jerry came out to measure and communicated well through the process. Windows came in about 6 weeks and install date was scheduled. Jerry and Colton arrived and got straight to work. Respectful of property, cleaned up after installation and got everything done in a day! Not only do the windows look great, they function well and it's so much quieter in the house. We had previously hired Reliable to replace our storm door and upgrade our kitchen lighting from a fluorescent light box to recessed lighting. This time around we replaced our front patio cover with a pergola, had gutter guards installed, and had the attic insulation increased. Because of issues with the City Planning Department, the pergola took seven months to get permitted. Pat worked with us to come up with a design that the City finally approved; while not exactly what we originally envisioned, it turned out quite nice. Frank and the installation team put the pergola up to one morning. We did get the gutter guard installed pretty quickly, as was the addition of insulation in the attic. In both cases the crews were done in one morning. We've been in our house 40 years now and we noted that Reliable was the first contractor among the many we've dealt with who showed up when they said they would and got the work done in the time frame specified. Kudos to them for that alone! Michael has been our sales contact and he's been great, working with us to make sure each project falls within our comfort level. As an added bonus, the Reliable crews do a great job of keeping the work area clean and they pick up everything when they're done. read more

Had an 8-foot sliding glass Door replaced. Jerry verified that it could be replaced, took measurements, asked if I had any concerns. He then ordered the door and called me several times to let me know how things were coming along. SO nice not to have to call, leave a message, and hope for a call back. Then Colton arrived yesterday morning with the replacement window. He proceeded to remove the old slider door which seemed to be a challenge, but he just kept going after it and shortly thereafter had it out. Then installed the new slider. which took him a considerable amount of time as he was adjusting it until it squared up and opened and closed SO smoothly. He then trimmed it out and it looks like it has always been there. It looks better than what I was expecting. If you want it done right, this is the team to have. read more
