Bad service repair. It is not a Reliable Service. You will pay a costly for a $120 per hour service. It did not fix properly, saying my car model make is bad. If a Mechanic is very good no matter what the model of car it is, can fix it. I paid C$2,000. read more

Dangerous work on the safety of a vehicle. In late February we purchased an older Nissan Sentra from a family member and needed a safety certificate. We found Reliance simply searching for mechanics that perform safety certificates and dropped the car with them. They noted a few items that needed done - brake lines, muffler connection, and few smaller items. We agreed to have the work done and in a couple of days we picked up the vehicle. The total expense was $1166.75. The mechanic let me know that the muffler sound was not fixed but that they would safety the vehicle anyway. This was a bit disappointing as the car was loud so upon receiving the car and safety certificate I went to a muffler shop close by (Midas on Queen Street). When the car was lifted on the hoist it was immediately visible that the brake line repairs they did were faulty. The drivers side rear connection was loose and spilling out fluid - this would only have taken few days to drain and then have no working brake pressure. We had purchased this vehicle for our son and I am horrified to think of what could have happened if we hadn't gone directly to another shop to have the muffler actually fixed. Midas completed the brake line repair and the muffler components (properly). When I contacted Moe and Kate at Reliance Auto Mechanic about this they requested that I bring the car back to them which I was not willing to do - they provided a safety certificate for a vehicle that was less safe after they gave it back to me. They offered and did refund half of the brake line expense (because the passenger side rear was done correctly) - $218.82. Overall my experience was very poor with Reliance. I think the offer to compensate us for the minimal amount is ridiculous. They split hairs about what was the minimum amount they feel they should be responsible for yet they could have caused a serious accident that could have endangered the life of our son. I cannot express our disappointment and lack of care to ensure that the brake line was fixed properly. read more

I had a terrible experience with this shop. Firstly there is no adequate parking outside. The neighboring shop owner complains that they are blocking him from getting business. The mechanic is disrespectful and offers no help. We called after dropping off vehicle they promised to call us back and never followed up. When we finally hear from them they are harrassing us at work and home about whether we had made a decision only a few hours of getting the estimate. They need an answer stat because they have other customers waiting. The receptionist is all smiles no help. They bullied me when I told them not to go ahead with the work. Refused to put the car back together for the tow truck driver. Can't understand why they are still in business. read more

Fantastic shop, highly recommended. Had a lot of work done, new differential and gears installed, new axles and rotors, and also had a hole in the floor pan fixed up. They did fantastic work, and considering the quality and amount of work they did the price was very reasonable and I felt like I got a great deal. Everytime I go for service I always go to Mitsubishi Brampton, until one time, I had a problem with the engine because it keeps vibrating whenever I hit a red light and goes to a full stop. The dealership said it was because of a broken gasket in the exhaust, they change it and I paid over 200 dollars. on my way home I went back and told them. Then the service manager said I have a problem with the compressor and needs to be changed. they said they will call me back after they have done the paper work with Mitsubishi Canada. they even promised to call me after a few days. They did not call me for a month and when I'm calling them they are not available. so I decided to look for a real mechanic who can do a real diagnosis of my car, and I found this placecalled Reliance Auto Mechanic. The owner was very nice to me and said, " don't worry my friend I will take care of you!" after less than 30 minutes, they found the problem and it's not the compressor! It's just a dirty throttle body and weak battery. they fixed it and in no time my car is now running smoothly!!
