I actually read the reviews to this location after I received service. I didn't do it on purpose but I was glad that I waited and seen the service for myself. The staff are amazing! Very hands on with customer service support. The manager I encountered at the time explained the ideology of each Nissan creates a different account to earn reward points. I was grateful he shared that information because I was under the impression I had been earning reward points all together , not separately. Over all my interaction with staff was good. I received a basic oil change. Now what I will say is , this location is a little more expensive than expected but the service was fast and I was in and out in less than thirty minutes. My experience the sales staff was pleasant and helpful, however I cannot say the same about treatment from their management team. I called on vehicle that was to be added to my companies fleet, communicated with finance I would be paying cash for the vehicle. They first sent over the buyers order in which I noticed a $3k charge for "reliance protection plant" along with other discretionary fees. I understand the car sales game, attract customers with low prices online then stick fees in at the last second to raise their margin. These fees are hidden to the masses as "it is only $42 / month on your note. As a cash buyer this came out to 8% increase on the total vehicle cost, I requested finance to remove it. They agreed to cut the fee by 70% making it somewhat more palatable, so we agreed and they began drawing docs up. I prepared my wire for payment and booked a local shop to install back up alarm for the delivery day as we needed the truck on site asap. I found out on the day of the proposed delivery that the manager had sold the vehicle out from under me and the salesman to an unsuspecting customer that I am sure he swindled with the "its only $42 / month more on your note" read more

I truly hope that this post gets read and really heard. I was at this dealership recently and it was the worst experience I have ever had. This dealer ship is the epitome of sleazy car salesman. They advertise a price and get you there and then add a 3,000 "maintenance service" it only covers nitrogen air for tires, window tint and wheel locks. I explained that I didn't want/need this service but the manager said I had to pay it. Either I paid it or they had to add back the discount. It all came down to there was no real discount. They admitted they advertise low price to get you there. Please, please do not fall for the "added fees" you do not have to pay for it. I learned a lot from the Car Lady and Car Mama on Tik Tok, yes, Tik Tok. research their videos. I ended up buying the same car without the required maintenance service. I actually found a dealer that offered the service plus free oil change. I saved 3,000. all you should pay is the price of car and tax, title and license fees. I also learned that Louisiana has to sell the car exactaly how it is advertised. There are no surprise "added" items. Also, you still only have to pay Texas taxes, not Louisiana taxes. I had a much better experience with Louisiana. It was worth the drive!! read more

After reading the mixed reviews on Google, I thought I would still given them a try since it's one of the two nearest dealerships to my house. The cashier/service check-in guy was really nice. He greeted me at the door with a smile on his face. He gave me a brief tour. I had an appointment at 1:00 or 1:30 PM. But when I got there, there was no record of the appointment even though, I literally made the appointment the day before. That's ok because I was able to be seen immediately. There were no other customers in the service department this Thursday. It took between 1 hour and 1.5 hours for them to do an oil change and 30-point inspection (or whatever the number is). I was expecting to get my car washed becuase when I had my Hyundai, everytime you got your car serviced, they washed the car. I guess this is not true for Nissan. The waiting area was pretty and clean. So was the women's bathroom, even though the first 2 lights (near the door on the inside and over the sink) were out. Overall, I dont know if I would reccomend this Nissan dealership for service. I'm going to try them one more time and make my decision then. read more

I purchased a black 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan from the reliance Nissan dealer ship in Alvin TX for $16,100. The purchase was made in May 2024. The day after purchase I returned to the dealership to have the stereo system fixed. Within the first month of purchase I had to get the both front left and right ABS censors fixed, Camshaft, and Camshaft Sensors. After I fixed those things another round of issues arose with the fuel injector, and cooling system. At that point I went back to the dealership and unfortunately the systems where hacked so there was nothing that could've been done. They told me that they would reach out to me when everything was fixed to trade me out of the vehicle but never contacted. I then chose to fix that round of issues. A month later my engine completely failed and the car broke down in the middle of the highway. I was towed to the nearest shop and told that I need to replace the entire engine. Issue after issue has occurred with this vehicle and when I returned to the dealership I was told they couldn't do anything for me and it was out of their hands. this has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a dealership. If I could leave 0 star review I would. this has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had at a dealership, if I could give 0 stars I would. read more

My father leased a NEW vehicle (14mi. on the odometer) with them that allotted for 15k miles of use per year. 3 days after signing, they called him to come back in and re-sign the contract with "a few modifications." "no big deal." He get's the contract a week later from Nissan Acceptance Corp. (financers), and the contract now states 12k miles allotted per year, and the car is shown as USED. How does a car get classified as used when it has 14 miles on the odometer? Of course, everyone he calls says "there's nothing we can do." Extremely disappointed and appalled by their customer service. I honestly feel like my mom was taken advantage of. Where do I even begin, my mom went in looking for a car loaded with all of the safety features: blind spot, park assist, lane departure and backup camera. She looked at several different cars until the salesman, Johnny O. told her that he had just the car for her and it was fully loaded with everything she was looking for. They went and looked at it and quickly took it for a test drive around the lot. My mom continued to ask if it had all the safety features she was looking for and Johnny assured her it was exactly what she was looking for. They did all the paperwork and she drove home. The next day she was driving around town and noticed that she didn't see any kind of detection for blind spots. She immediately called Johnny to tell him the blind spot detectors were not working. He suggested she bring it in so they can see what's going on. She brings the car back in, Johnny greets her and hand them off to the Sales Manager, Stephen D. and he proceed to tell her that the car she just bought does not have any of the safety features she was looking for. If she wanted those features it would cost her more money. He then continued to be inconsiderate of the situation. My mom stated that she was really wanting the blind spot detection and lane departure notifications and his response was "that's what your mirrors are for". When my mom called to ask about the blind spot detectors, why didn't Johnny tell her the car didn't have it over the phone? All he said was why don't you come in and we will see what we can figure out. He is the one that sold her the car. He knew it clearly did not have the features she was asking about. So why make her think something could be fixed? Or that there was a malfunction with the car? I understand that the car buyer is responsible for making sure it's what they are looking for, but when someone has never had a vehicle with all of these safety features they may not know what to look for. She hasn't bought a car for over 10 years! Technology is so different. That's what the salesman is for. They are the experts. They are there to help the car buyer in these situations and ensure they understand what all is offered. Unfortunately, Johnny misguided my mom into thinking this car was "fully loaded" with all the features she was looking for. I honestly hope both of these men read this review and feel guilty for what they did. They just wanted the car off the lot with no remorse for taking advantage of someone. You both should be ashamed of yourselves about how y'all handled this situation. read more

Bait and Switch!!! My father spoke to Luis on the phone regarding a new Altima. He was told they had a 2023 Altima on the lot for $20,000. He had him put a $500 hold for the car. My father showed up today to purchase the car and signed paperwork, the whole time thinking he was purchasing a NEW car and when he went to look at it afterward, saw some scuff marks on the rims and asked why a new car would have damage already. It was then that he was told that this was a pre-owned car, with $63k miles on it!! I know that my father made it clear what he was looking for a 2023 Altima. He feels the Luis was dishonest in the sale. Once he realized he had "been had", he was visibly upset. He said he could tell Luis realized he was upset about the situation, but Luis didn't offer to make it right and cancel the transaction. My father ended up leaving with the car, thinking he had no other choice. When he got home, he explained everything to me and I called the sales manager to give him a chance to make things right. The manager said that Luis and other salesmen had a different version of what happened, that they all heard Luis tell my father "multiple" times that the car was used. Imagine that, salesmen not admitting that they were dishonest to make a sale. Why wouldn't they stick together to keep out of trouble? The sales manager said there's nothing he could do once the car was driven off the lot. I know that there were times that my father should have spoken up for himself. He is the most honest person I know and can be naive which makes him an easy target. I regret not going to the dealership with him and asking questions. Stay clear of this dealership!! read more

I had a great experience with Eric Heimann at Nissan of Alvin! Good staff, very informative, very helpful! The only thing I would warn against for future potential buyers (and it may be common knowledge for some/most) is to make sure you go through the finance report/loan agreement LINE BY LINE before signing an agreement. As exlained to me by the finance person with whom I spoke - items and services that "came with" the price were actually optional and of course significantly extra. Rookie mistake on my part but also not forthcoming from their team - but of course, they are in the business of making money. They offered me a great trade in value and with an initial down payment - still overall cost was significantly higher than anticipated. That was my only disappointment with this new dealership. NO SERVICE AFTER THE SALE. This dealership has been the farthest thing from professional I could imagine. I bought a vehicle from them on December 5, 2020. There was a chip in the dash board trim panel. A very simple fix that I priced for $300 at the dealership. As part of the "we owe you" document when buying the vehicle, Reliance Nissan owed me to change that panel out as part of the deal before I bought the truck. They told me they'd set the appointment up for me at a dealership closer to where I lived. It's been almost a month now and I call practically every day to see to it that they set up that appointment and they've done nothing to help me. Frank, the sales guy that told me he'd set up the appointment hangs up on me when he sees my number and refuses to answer phone calls or texts. The manager is always "outside with a customer" absolutely no one helps me to change this trim piece they owe me. I have signed papers saying they owe it, and they ignore me. Maybe if I get a lawyer they'll talk to them since they avoid me. My brother is in the market for a vehicle and I surely steered him elsewhere. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE HERE. They do not live up to their promises. My next step will be the better business bureau. No one seems to care about the negative reviews, cause I still can't get calls back. read more

The process of my new truck started off good, but went sour quickly. They didn't have the Titan I wanted so they ordered one. Too bad it wasn't the one I wanted. Had me sign papers on it and was to add some of the things I was getting on the other truck. Keep pushing me off for when the truck would be ready. Three days it was to be ready. Then it turned into a week that went into two weeks. Then three weeks and the truck still was not ready. They gave me a 7.5 intrest rate with a 815 credit score. Go somewhere else. LIARS. Here is long story short. Their game is to advertise low prices online. Once you agree to buy, they put you in waiting area and tell you that they will let you know about financing. You go to sign, and are told that they dont check your credit and force you to finance thru some bank with 5.5 interest rate. You are not allowed to shop for other financing or pay cash. The price is only guaranteed with their chosen financing and rate. When asked to speak to our sales person who said we can get our own financing if we dont like their terms, we were told that he went home without ever saying goodbye to us at all. We ended up buying since we had driven an hour and desperate to get a vehicle since my daughter and I were In a car accident the night before and the car was totalled. We were told they would fill up the gas tank . They told us to email the gas receipt to get reimbursed. Well, they didnt even give us courtesy response. I couldn't refinance until they registered it and they claimed they couldn't get the title so I couldn't refinance. Took 2 1/2 months to get my plates. Customer service was good, however they will not fill up your gas tank if you buy a preowned vehicle like all other dealerships do, they will not tell you this either unless you ask (which we did not realize). If you are not purchasing a brand new vehicle from this dealership, be sure to ask all questions necessary even if they seem silly so you aren't caught off guard later like we were. They will not let you know ahead of time unless you get into the situation, then you are blindsided. I understand this is a new dealership, but the communication between the customer and the salesman should be a lot better. read more

By the time the paperwork came out to be signed, they had raised the price by $2,000 over what they advertised, and their excuse was that the car was priced so low that they wanted to bring the price up to competitive levels. I walked out, but they continued with the texts and assured me they could make a deal with me. After many back and forth texts, they had the same deal of trying to raise the price by $2,000 over what they advertised. Don't waste your time at this place. They are grifters. I did file complaints with the State Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission over this incident, for what that is worth. read more

Had a good experience with the staff that helped me with the truck I was looking at and trying to make a deal very nice. They gave me an offer and I told them I had to make a couple phone calls and they said no problem take your time and I walked out to make a couple calls which I was interrupted by the manager in a very inconsiderate way of the two that were helping me and told me the deal was off because I got up from the table to make my calls I told them I was going to do. So my experience there was very good up until that point the two that helped me were really working to get me the best deal. We drove a long way to look at a used car here. The people and facilities were great. They did work with us by phone for quite some time. However, at the end of the day they don't seem to be willing to move on their prices at all. We went to Jeff Haas Mazda in Houston and got $4000 more on our trade-in with no arguing. We got $2000 less on the price of the vehicle, which had less mileage than theirs and all the same upgrades. And when Nissan of Alvin said they could only get me an APR in the mid-teens I walked away with an APR of 5.6%, including the price of several extended warranties and additional packages. All in all the final monthly payment came out $80 less at another dealership with a whole lot more gained. If you are looking for someone who is actually willing to deal then this isn't your place. I was literally told that if they came up on my trade-in value that they would also go up on the price of the car. Thus, no savings to the customer. And also a shady business practice. If you are looking for nice facilities and listed price then this is your place. read more

I've bought a lot of cars over the past few decades. I've never had a more pleasant and efficient experience. I knew what I wanted, and what I was willing to pay. Keith was my salesman, didn't try to talk me into something I didn't want (doesn't work with me). Mark Harris, the sales manager, also helped and was most professional, and another salesman named Justin helped me for nearly 2 hours when I went back to sign the papers and pick up the vehicle.
