Don't go here for your covid test if you can help it! You have to wait in a HUGE in person line that barely moves even with an appointment. I've been waiting since 12:40pm for a 1:00 appointment and it's past 2:00 now. There are children and elderly people that stand/walk with great difficulty in line. It's awful and terrifying. A few weeks ago my boyfriend broke his tooth and needed to make an appointment for the dentist. Because of what's going on with covid 19, in order for him to be seen by a dental surgeon he had to first have a negative test result. Poor guy was in some horrible pain from his tooth (if you've ever had a broken tooth that became horribly infected, I'm sure you will understand exactly what he was going through). He was irritated and a little scared too if we are being honest. Big shout out to April! You really put him at ease and made the process as quick and effortless as possible. She was a delight over the phone and even more So I'm person. I want you to know that your kindness and attention to detail did not go unnoticed! Especially during these times. Thank goodness after getting his results back quickly! We were able to get his tooth removed and he's back to his normal self again. The amount of fear & hesitation I had when I was instructed by the doctor that I was going to need Physical Therapy is indescribable. I had hoped for a miracle pill that would turn me back to my functional self. It's been 3 weeks of mandated Physical Therapy and I can honestly say my negative perception of what to expect changed instantly to a positive one. Reliant (Montebello) has an amazing Physical Therapy team. They ALL greet me by name and with the biggest smiles ( and I'm usually their first client at 7:00AM.) They are attentive to my needs, and always professional. (even before they have had their coffee.) So I set my appointment up on their website that clearly said "covid rapid test OR antibody test which it let you select! My appointment was at 8:am I arrived 10 minutes like it said before appointment. I get there and I told the front desk girl I'm here for "an antibody covid rest" she says "ok if you have the appointment wait on the other side." I'm there waiting till 8:40! Then she finally decides to call me in when my appointment was scheduled to be at 8am right and I'm the first person there. Then I see her and she says "oh we don't offer that kind of testing" are you kidding me??!! Checked in due to abdominal pain. The staff in the front was friendly. Waiting room was clean as well. My complaint is about the PA whom assisted me in my visit. After explaining to her my concerns, The PA prescribed me Ciprofloxacin????? Which is used as a last result when all other antibiotics have failed. No blood test or urine test were administered to see if I had a bad UTI or Staph infection to check if that prescription is what's best. Consulted primary care doctor and MD and they shook their head and told me that was not the right thing to do. Pretty much a " F off". read more

Ronnie the nurse was amazing he gave me the best shot I've ever had I'm almost 30 so I've had a decent amount in my years and he wrapped my burn wound very carefully he was very positive and helpful I really appreciated his attitude. The doctor was very nice and informative as well as front office staff. And yes I did have a hour and 20 min wait but that's pretty normal for a urgent care. Thanks Ronnie for everything. The medical assistants/nurses were friendly and helpful, and I got roomed within a reasonable amount of time. I wish I could give them four stars. I called this Montebello branch prior to leaving home with a bad fever and with a terrible upper respiratory infection. They told me the facility was open and it's 24hours, so I went and when I arrived everything was closed and this extremely dismissive dude that works there tells me that the number they have listed is for the LAX facility. What? Obviously my condition is not nearly as critical but if someone in need of medical help comes to this place with bad information it can be dangerous. This man told me he has "told them to change the number several times..." Who is them?? Are you kidding me? This health-care geared business has to pay attention to these details before they get someone killed. I called to ask if they were opened, and they asked me what I needed. I said I still had infection in my throat. I was prescribed Azithromycin on 3/17/2020 but it's not enough. I took Amoxicillin and Clindamycin as my mom gave me as back up from Indonesia but the infection was not cured yet. I actually have intestinal problem left but that's not related to my throat. I understand antibiotics are dangerous to be prescribed and people are scared of COVID-19. So they are actually good. They told me I probably had the symptoms of COVID-19 and asked the doctor whether I could be checked or not. I told them I did not have COVID-19, only needed antibiotics, Clindamycin. They said due to COVID-19, they were understaffed, and I needed to go to see my doctor. I insisted to go to the urgent care and it was not understaffed and no patients. They were worried that I had COVID-19 and did not want to call my provider. I said I did not have COVID-19 symptoms like fever, only difficulty of swallowing due to my throat felt hardened and scratchy. And since it's been a month I stayed home, I did not have COVID-19. It should have gone worse fast but there was nothing except losing my voice and throat problem for 1 month. The last time I saw someone was at Walmart pickup and I wore mask. It's okay to accuse me of having COVID-19 but we'll see, I do not have COVID-19 on March 26th, 2020. Maybe because I don't need antibiotics anymore, so they're actually good. I asked them to prescribe me 10 Clindamycin pills. It was me who insisted to be checked by a doctor and even came despite they told me on the phone I should not have come. The front desk was already nice and said they could not check me in today. They asked me to go outside (they thought I liked to be ordered around and called their number first and went inside). I understand this happened due to unprecedented novel coronavirus and my condition was still looking quite healthy. Otherwise, all great with them. I ended up eating manuka honey (but was going worse) and was able to see a doctor via telemedicine to get my antibiotics. I will still go to this urgent care if needed in the future and I wish everyone the best (sorry about my rudeness and ignorance). Safety first. Reliant has a telemedicine option too and I would not rule it out using it in the future if I get sick again (have not checked it out as I have used Teladoc and could be lazy to switch). I would like to write a separate wonderful review and give them 5 stars based on my visit on 3/17/2020. Maybe Yelp can allow me later. It was a great experience for a Medi-cal patient. read more

I am so happy with the physical therapy I have received here. The staff are amazing. They are friendly and professional at all times. I have been going this location for several months now for two different injuries and both injuries have gotten significantly better. My hand injury in completely back to normal and my knee injury is getting much better every time I have a session. I would highly recommend this location for anyone needing some physical therapy. I waited for an hour and another customer was upset and went in a said the wait is over 2 hours. They didn't give me any indication of the wait time. Stay away from this place!!!! Before taking my baby to this horrific place, I called to confirm they could take toddlers. The lady that answered, assured me that they even treat babies and can assist my little one. I then took my sick 1 year old daughter who had a 100.8 temperature as I am not near her regular doctor. They wouldn't take my insurance, so they charged me $85 to take her. When I go in to see the doctor she checks my daughters ears and then advises that she has wax and therefore she can't assure of an ear infection. I then asked her to remove it as her regular pediatrician does and she flat out said NO. I then asked her to help me as my daughter had a fever and what was causing it. She then told me to just give her Motrin and go home and remove the ear wax. I then explained that per my daughters pediatrician and her ear infection frequency we cannot clean her ears with swabs. She then says, well I'm sorry I'm not pediatric!!! WTH I then asked for a reimbursement as my child was not treated and she now had a higher tempt. This is entirely from my own experience and I hope this helps you decide whether or not you seek care here. The doctors constantly rotate from different reliant urgent cares and it is very annoying to get the same doctor to do your follow up. What made my experience memorable is that these doctors don't believe you, nor do they care to listen to you. In fact I drew the line when my doctor rolled her eyes at me when I started advocating for myself. Multiple times witnessed staff wash up only to have them immediately start handling non sanitary items after washing but before inspecting and handling open wounds. I had already decided I wasn't showing it to anyone but the doctor. Ugh. So this young man Hector, comes in to take my vitals. I told him about my foot and wouldn't let him see it. After the doctor checked me guess who had to clean it up? Hector!!!! I was so embarrassed. Maricela & Gilbert Benitez made our visit both pleasant & comfortable, under the circumstances (we've had chronic bronchial spasms for a month & felt terrible, with no signs of improvement). Both of them had excellent customer service & bedside manner. To be quite honest, I was initially worried about coming down here. But the staff is friendly, the clinic is clean & we were able to get the medical attention that was needed. The only area for improvement for this clinic could be the wait time. If they are able to streamline their processes so that patients are in & out faster, that would be amazing. From check-in to check-out, it took us about 2.5 hours. Pretty average for a walk-in, but it could certainly be better. We would definitely come back here if we needed medical attention and did not have medical insurance coverage; or even if we did & we did not like our PCP. Ask for Maricela, if you need anything.
