I lucked out with Reliable Movers - not only were they responsive and willing to book me from out of state for a move-in to a place with multiple sets of stairs, when they arrived they were helpful, friendly, and even prevented some damage that would have been done because of the way my outgoing movers packed my truck. They took great care with all of my items, got everything to exactly where I asked it to be placed even though I was stuck outside with the truck providing information, and got it all done in record time. The crew that showed up on move-in day were about twenty minutes early, after checking in with me via phone and text. Everyone was helpful and courteous. This was an excellent moving experience and I will be hanging on to Reliable's contact information for my eventual move to another location. The price for unloading into my new home was great, especially given the stairs involved. No one likes to make furniture go up narrow stairs - Reliable's crew made it happen quickly with a clearly practiced pace.

I got a text message (he didn't even bother to call) at 6 the evening before saying that one of his guys had covid and he MIGHT have to cancel. I begged him to please find a way to come as we scheduled this appointment so I would have an outlet for a new fridge that I was having delivered. I also had a couple of lights that needed installing and a switch that needed to be moved along with a light. He said he would keep me updated and would reach out in the morning. Two days later and I have not heard from him. I assume the truth is they found a job that was more beneficial payment wise and decided they could do without my business. This actually worked out for me! The owner Shawn from CNY Electrical took my call and listened to what happened to me and said he would ask one of his guys to come out the following day. CNY Electrical came out this morning and did the same job for $100 cheaper! The work was done exactly the way I wanted it and Jason was amazing! He explained everything he was doing and even guided me in setting up my Ring devices. He was polite and cleaned up after he was completed with the job. I highly recommend this company for any electrical work that needs to be done. I will certainly be calling them when it is time to renovate the downstairs of my home as well as outdoor lighting that I will be installing. No apology, no explanation - NO REFUND. THEY TOOK OUR MONEY AND DISAPPEARED. Myself and another family live 3,000 miles away from our daughters who were college freshman and we were completely reliant upon this company. And they just left the girls waiting for them at 10am, boxes packed and ready to go at the agreed upon date and time. The girls had to move out of their dorms into a storage unit and get on flights home as it was the end of the semester. We paid a 50% deposit and created/executed a contract. The day before the move I called Jorge and he said that he had poor reception and he would call me back. To this day, I have never heard from him or anyone from this company. We had to scramble to find another company! It was awful and very expensive to remedy. Even now, we are still extremely upset and at the very least we would like our money back! They try to scam you out of thousands! The markup he tried to rip us off on for a door was almost double than what we were able to get at Home Depot. This is where they try to catch you! They will try to push you to say it's just a work order to "get the process started".....it's not, it's their binding contract. He did not go over any of the fine print with us. You can't take anyone's word anymore...big lesson learned for us.
