We were greeted by Paul who got our car in immediately. 30 minutes later, the tire was patched and we were ready to go. The price for the repair was a fraction of what we expected. Quick, competent, friendly. A possibly distressing situation on our trip turned out into a pleasant experience.

I visited the location to purchase and install tires. After…read morereceiving the car, I noticed the following list of issues: - Two rims were scratched in the center, with a severely damaged logo on one of the rims. - One of the TPMS sensors was broken. - Missing valve stem cap (there was a nice set of aluminum caps; now one of them is missing and I have to buy another set). - Wrong mileage stated on the work order. This error will cause Carfax and AutoCheck to report a mileage discrepancy, and I will have to reach out to their support to remove the mileage from the service record. - Alignment was ordered and I had to ask for the alignment diagnostic chart. The chart did not indicate the VIN or license plate number. It is not clear which car this chart is referencing. It is not even clear at this point if the alignment was even done. - The road hazard warranty was included and no proper documentation was provided. - Upon questioning Paul (the white boomer guy with crooked teeth), the manager, who said that his last name was "none of your business," about the rim damage, he became hyper-aggressive. He started to reiterate that it was curb rash (in the center of the rim, yeah, right). He did replace the TPMS sensor, but with the attitude like he was doing me a favor (mmhm, you replaced the OEM Toyota sensor with some cheap crap that will fail in a year -- thanks, I guess). In the end, he went on a deranged rant describing how he works on nice rims of expensive cars like Mercedes and I was giving him trouble with a "measly Toyota" (all the time I was the only person in the shop -- no other customers in sight). Then he continued his ramblings and offered to change a tire on his Mercedes (not sure what he wanted to prove, apparently just trying to flex with his car, but looking at his car maintenance skills, I don't even want to think about his "Mercedes" condition and market value). He concluded the circus with a threat to call the police on me because I am a "scammer" (yeah, that's rich, coming from a stereotypical crooked car mechanic). I encouraged him to do so and to turn on speakerphone, as I would love to hear the police's reply. He replied he would do it later, and of course he didn't call them, as he appears to be the kind of person who never does what he promises. So visit this location if you want to see comically rude staff and get your car damaged. And ignore any response on this review -- Monro/TireChoice's parent company doesn't care about bad service at their locations. There is a Mavis chain store just across the road -- go there. There is a reason why Mavis is usually booked and this place is always empty.

I used my diagnostic tester to try to determine what the problem was. The tester indicated that there was a misfire in one of the cylinders. I finally reached Cruz Auto Repair in the late afternoon. Corey replied back that he could come to the house between 6 & 8 that evening (Sunday). Corey came at about 6:45 and immediately began to diagnose the issue and found that the cylinder had a bad spark plug. We talked about a price and I decided to have Corey change all the plugs. which he did. running a test again, he found that one of the coils was also bad. Since it was late at night, after 8 PM and the auto parts store was closed, we discussed a price and agreed that Corey would come back the next morning with a new replacement coil. Corey came back the next morning and replaced the coil and now the car is working just fine. From the start, Corey showed knowledge of auto repairs, did exactly what he said he would do for the price that he quoted each time. I would highly recommend Cruz Auto Repair for all repairs. Thank you Corey.
