Call, or "even GO", to every auto repair shop, say you "want to swap out BOLTED On & Off, lower control arm bushings, already PRESSED IN their brackets", and 99.9% of them will have NO CLUE what you're talking about. This is even worse with every dealership especially Lexus. I sent an email to Leasure Automotive with a VIDEO of what I wanted done. Chris called back asking for more info about the car, called back again with a quote, and then Kelly & Sam scheduled me in for an appointment. Do you think ANY OTHER auto shop will watch a video of work you need done? Think Again!! Leasure is the ONLY shop that just "got it". Leasure Auto already had a stellar reputation, recently changed management, but the entire crew stayed on. Impressed with ALL of: service, waiting room, cleanliness, and even the location is flattering coz you can walk to different retail, restaurants, etc, while waiting for your car. I know cars and this place comes Highly Recommended. Absolutely take your car in to Leasure for service!! I am writing this review based on a recent, disappointing experience with Leisure Automotive. I dealt with Bill, who informed me that my car had been inspected and that the timing belt had broken. He claimed I "won the lottery" because there was supposedly no engine damage, despite the fact that a belt failure on a Honda V6 almost always results in the valves hitting the pistons. Being skeptical, I performed my own inspection. I had personally installed a new OEM Honda timing belt only four months ago and was confident in the work. When I pulled the top timing cover, I found the belt I installed was still perfectly intact. There was no evidence of a snapped belt, a seized water pump, or a failed pulley. I was charged over $1,100 for a timing belt replacement that clearly didn't happen. Based on the symptoms, I believe the actual issue was a simple fuel pump fuse--a repair that should have cost less than $200, including diagnostics. I have recommended Leasure automotive to over 100 people over the last 20 years because I believed he was honest and above board. I actually started working on my own cars in 1979 specifically because a mechanic ripped me off back then; it is a shame to see a shop I trusted for so long compromise their integrity like this. Absolute waste of money. Take your car elsewhere if you actually want the problem fixed. I spent $500 for them to "fix" my car and when the problem continued to happen, they said they couldn't fix it because my check engine light didn't come on. Now after my light came back on, they are saying they probably can't fix it and to take it to the dealership. They asked ME what the engine error code was as if I was the mechanic. Now I'm out of $500 and have to go spend more to actually get the issue fixed. Bill is rude and talks to you as if you don't know what you're talking about. I regret taking my car here and won't ever recommend this place. Seems like they only want money but don't want to actually fix cars. read more

I debated a long time before posting this because this shop has been great for years and years, but that changed really quick. My boyfriend and I have been taking our cars here for years, back before they moved locations. We also recommended them to friends. They were always honest, really nice people, and fairly priced. A few months ago I took my car in to have an oil leak fixed, as it's had a slow leak for a long time, but recently I had to keep putting oil in more and more often. I told the receptionist that if the total was going to be more than a grand I wasn't going to get it fixed, as it's an older car, but has sentimental value. They are aware of this because they've done the maintenance on it for YEARS. They called back with a total just under the grand to fix the oil leak and top off the transmission fluid. I gave them the go ahead and paid and picked the car up a few days later. About two weeks or so I had the low oil light come on again. I called and they said to bring the car back in to check it out. They called back with a new estimate for ANOTHER GRAND to fix the oil leak and also added that the transmission lines needed replaced. I asked why they didn't see that the first time since they topped off the fluid and why it was still leaking oil. They said it has oil leaks all over and needs all new transmission lines. So basically, I paid a grand for absolutely nothing. The oil leak wasn't fixed, and now they wanted another grand to fix more oil leaks and transmission lines. I clearly asked them how much it would cost to fix the oil leak the first time and they were not honest. I felt totally ripped off. Why would I pay another grand and cross my fingers and toes hoping it would actually be fixed this time?? I refused any more work and when I picked up the keys they handed them to me without a word. So yeah, that's how they treat a loyal customer that trusted them for years. But hey, at least they got a grand for nothing. read more

All other diagnostics, evaluations, and suggestions went as well as I have ever encountered anywhere. I'm lowering my review. Last time there I had them change the motor on my passenger side window. He charged me for a new motor and other things for window. Two months later the window completely stops working. I go by a week later and he tells me he couldn't fix it right then cause he was too backed up and I should drop off in the morning. I tell him I work all week and can't take day off during pandemic to wait for a window repair. Have been back three times in last 8 months and they can never even look at it. All they say is drop it off for the day. Wtf? I have a job that I don't want to take a full day off to get a window fixed that I paid for already. Of course they don't open weekends. So at this point I'll pay another garage to do it at my time. At least look at it, it could be just a loose wire but to just dismiss me and say come back early In the Morning and leave it. Took my 2008 buick enclave in because the transmission was not shifting all gears. Mechanic called me and said it was throwing 28 codes and because of that he didn't go any further before calling me. Then he said I would need to either change the transmission or drove it till it dies. I picked it up the next morning and paid a $63 diagnostic fee. They gave me the printout of the codes there were 18 only 4 were transmission related. So I started researching the codes online. The first step recommended online with the codes given was check transmission fluid. So I did and it was low. I would think any mechanic would think to check the fluid after getting that kind of diagnostic. Instead of freaking the customer out with such a dire news. Honest and Professional Long story short: You can feel people here want to fix your car, and want to fix it in most reliable way. This place feels like family indeed, like your grandpa is trying to fix your car. I will come back here again if my car need something, rather than dealership. Long story: My Ford Mustang's passenger door window won't lift. Ford dealership costed me $600 but yet not fixed it(It is a small but tricky problem). Dannis here spent a whole day trying to diagnose what was wrong. He cannot find out at that time. So he called me telling me he is not sure which part is broken(Being honest). Right after I picked my car there and went back to office, Dannis called me again sounds excited saying he might understand what was wrong now. Considering he being honest at the first time, of course I am willing to bring the car back and give him another chance. He figured it out this time. It was the loose connection of the door wires caused by Ford dealership's previous repairment. He re-wired the cables and the problem is gone. The qualities of admitting "I don't know what's going on with your car" and being patient and investigating the problem even when the customer is gone, are gold these days. Dennis Leasure, owner and great guy. He is a little rough around the edges, but he knows cars and motorcycles. Had a friend refer me to his buisness about a year ago and haven't had a single issue with him. He's done all the oil changes and 60K mile services (replaced all the fluids) for both my F-150 and my wife's Equinox. He recommends synthetic fluids, but can provide standard oils as well. His shop is open M-F and closed on the weekends. read more

I took my car there, because I was having a problem with my car stalling out and jerking. They called me a couple of hours later and said that the code coming up was for my crank shaft position sensor. He said it would cost me $90.00 for him to tell me what was wrong with the crank shaft position sensor. I asked him if when we found out what was wrong with it, if the $90.00 would come off with fixing my vehicle and he said NO that it was a straight charge. I found that to be kind of strange and maybe a little dishonest- most places take the charge off, if you have your vehicle fixed there. A co worker told me about a place called Weaver, so I told him not to do anything with my car that I would come pick it up and take it somewhere else. When I took it to Weaver the first thing the guy told me was that there was a recall on my vehicle, so I left it with him. He called me back about a hour later , and said the code came up with a crank shaft position sensor problem and that it was involved in a recall and that I needed to take it to the dealer. So these people wanted to charge me $90.00 to tell me what was wrong with my crank shaft position sensor, and the other guy picked it up right away as a recall issue. I will NEVER take my car to Leasure Automotive again- and do not recommend it. read more
