I had two new tires put on in October. Recently, I had new brakes installed, and my mechanic mentioned the tires weren't balanced. It's always been in my experience that despite how many tires you purchase, when they are installed, all four tires are balanced. - I called TiresPlus and explained and asked if they would balance them for free since they weren't done the first time. I said I didn't want to pay anything, so if they weren't able to do all four then I had another place I could go. - at this point, I feel bad because I realized they didn't do anything wrong. Because that's not their policy to balance all four. - the guy said he'd look at it and let me know. A couple hours later, he called and said it was done. I went in to pick it up and there was no charge... 1. I was the problem. 2. They knew it 3. They didn't turn me away...they didn't have to fix it 4. Customer service was off the chart. This is my second experience with Tires Plus here in PC- and they are nothing short of amazing. They always do everything they can to take care of my needs, and NEVER push sales on me. In fact, try to get the most affordable rates possible for me. On top of that, I never have to sit here waiting all day for my car to be finished- they work with their customers that are on a tight schedule, even if they have a tight schedule themselves! They are all very knowledgeable and so so friendly. It took 3 times to get my alignment correct. The first time the steering wheel wasn't centered so took my truck back the next day. Then the steering wheel was real close to being centered where I can deal with it but a hard Tim by the guy that worked there. Telling me I know nothing. I was glad to get out of there. Then with in two months my right front steer tire was wear incorrectly. I had a recall for the dampener on the steering so finally after another month and a half it got into ford to let me know that the right front was steer tire was toed out and that was thee cause of the unusual tire wear. The ford dealer said who ever align it didn't know what they were doing. I then took it to boulevard tire and was told the same thing and then got it checked by Ats tires and again was told the same thing as well. Took my truck back to tire plus and tried to explain what was going and got from the head manger was nice and very rude when I came and tried to explain what was going on. I was finally able to get the manger Lisa outside to look at and her tone somewhat changed and said we will use your road hazard to replace the tire and I had already had paid for lifetime alignment. When I went to pick up I had a bill for over 100 dollars. It was tire plus mistake but I still paid what a joke of a company. I was told that the road hazard only pays up to 200 dollars on a tire and my tires are almost three hundred since it's a HD truck. Then had to pay for the road hazard again. Avoid this business. Was told they were too busy when they had employees sitting in picnic tables behind the building smoking. They sent me and my wife away with two flat tires on the rim. I extremely disappointed because the tire plus in Tampa have a lot better customer service than the one in Plant city. So much for the Tires Plus Credit Card.... read more

Don't waste your time. Made a 9:30 appt a few days ago, got there at the correct time, they said it would take 40 minutes to change the oil and another 25 minutes to rotate the tires. I said ok , I'll wait. 11:00 rolls around, nothing is done yet but I'm supposed to be next... Why did they make the appointment if they couldn't keep it? I had my kid with me so I had to leave, and they couldn't care less. I've be going to them for 14 years, oh well, my mistake. read more

I've been coming here a long time! Every time I come with an appt. I still end up waiting over 2 hours. I keep telling myself not to come back. As I am currently waiting with an appt, told it would be in about 30 minutes later...so I come back after over an hour and my car has yet to be taken back for an oil change. These people want your money. They are not curtious. They want you to get a credit card with them so you will be stuck with them because their credit card only Works with them. They sell you a tire, let's say base price of $80.00 after they add everything on its like $120.00 I mean come on you have to have why not already have it included. Their oil changes you can not pick what brand you get its what one name brand they have or nothing. If they work on your car the parts are the cheapest they can get. They get there part from an auto parts store where you could purchase them your self a lot cheaper. I personaly just go to Sam Club to get my tires now lot cheaper better tire. read more

This garage has always been fair and good to us, even done a few things "pro bono" like when my riding mower needed a new tire mounted on a rim. Their prices have been fair and honest as far as I know (what garage isn't charging a lot of $$ these days?) and they have never suggested anything but options for me to choose as far as maintenance. I'm not a great mechanic but feel we can trust this group, at this store, to do the right things the right way. read more

selling services not needed I went to Tires Plus to ask how much to check my differential fluids and was told they did not check and top off fluids .my manual states that the diff fluids should be checked every 25000 miles .The people behind the counter told me they could not do the service I requested ,however they would change the diff fluids and transfer case oil for $125 & tax .I refused and went a half mile down the road to TIRE KINGDOM and they did the job I had requested for $25.00,no problems -by RAY (03, July, 2013) read more

I had a 9am appointment for a tire repair that normally takes 25 minutes to fix. It is now 1030am and after being up sold to buy a new tire due to my tire being "unfixable" I am still waiting to get out of this place. I asked the front desk what is the reason for this delay he responded by telling me,"There are 8 cars here and 3 workers, we will get to it when we get to it". I will not return to this location and urge future tire victims to do their research before picking a proper tire shop. read more

They get 2 stars due to friendly employees in the front, but I have had some bad luck with this shop. Went in a few months ago to get a tire patched because I picked up a staple somewhere. Took about an hour to get it done and then came home. The next day, the tire was flat again and upon further inspection the staple was still there. Employee informed me that the tech must have patched the wrong tire (even though, to my knowledge, there were no holes in any other tire). They patched the correct tire and gave me a free oil change for my inconvenience. I went back last week to claim my free oil change as well as have them check my alignment and balance my tires. Come to find out I needed work done to the car that came out to $1400, and wanted to talk to my husband first to see if he wanted to do it, so they put everything back together and I went home. I noticed that one of my tires only had 4 lugs put back on it ( I am 100% sure I came in with 5). Makes me hesitant to get an expensive job done there with such important parts on my car. read more

I was a very loyal customer until last night when with one hour left before closing, my wife arrived with a screw in her tire and WAS TURNED AWAY! She called me and I suggested Kauffman Tire just down the street. Kauffman Tire stayed open after closing, repaired the tire AND DIDN'T CHARGE US! I went to Tires Plus to only get my tires balanced, when I turned down the courtesy inspection they had me sign a waiver stating I did not want them looking over my car. A few moments later I noticed my hood was up and an attendant was taking out my oil filter. I was told no one had told this man I was only there for a tire balance and he ASSUMED I needed an oil change. My car takes a specific oil 5w 30,as it has duel over head cams, and oil filter with a check valve. When asked what oil they had put in they told me they put 5w 20 which is for single over head cams. As soon as I got home I checked the oil and it didn't even touch the dip stick, and the oil that came out of my car after my own oil change was black, burnt. My car is a 97 Lincoln Mark VIII with 57 thousand on the motor and it had an brand new oil change a few weeks before by my own hands, so I know my oil and motor are in top shape. If you want to take care of your car never take it to Tires Plus they will rip you off. Also I was not charged for the oil change but if I had been I would have been charged for 16 quarts of oil my car only takes 6. read more
