I had purchased a new tire for my daughter's Jeep from a different Tire Kingdom location. She had been experiencing a vibration in her tire at highway speed so I recommended she go to any Tire Kingdom to have it looked at. She pulled into the 2303 Jim Redmond Pkwy location in Plant City. Within minutes they had the wheels off the car and determined a tire was out of balance. The manager (Glenn) was extremely kind and generous with his time. In 30 minutes they had her tires balanced and she was out the door, driving smooth with no vibration and ...... at no charge. Thank you Glenn and to your kind staff as well. called the day prior to make an appointment for 8am the next day. I show up right on time. there are zero other cars being worked on and zero cars in the parking lot. my car sat there from 8:00 to 9:30 am when I decided to leave after staring at my car sitting in the parking lot for almost 2 hours. other cars showed up and they were being worked on. not mine. I'm surprised that some of the other ratings were low. A friend of mine was coming to visit, and when they were at a rest stop, they noticed that there was a screw in their right front tire. I called the tire store and spoke to a nice young man named Matthew, who told me that they could take care of my friends tire. Even though they were fairly busy, they made room for him, and when I returned with him to check out, they told him no charge don't worry about it. I was sad to see so many disappointing reviews. I have been taken my 10 year old car there the entire time. I've never felt disrespected or found the place filthy. The staff has always been courteous and honest. Chris, the previous manager would say, "this needs to be done or keep this on the radar for down the road." Don't go here, took my car in because the tire sensor came on and it had a slight pull to the right. It was a faulty sensor and I had an alignment done. After driving a few miles the tire sensor light came back on so I turned around and went back. Tech replaced the wrong sensor, I had placed to be so scheduled to go back first thing in the am. Told them that it was still pulling to the right. And they said they would look at it while replacing the correct tire sensor. 2.5 hrs later I get in my car and the tire sensor light came back on and it still pulls to the right. So not only am I out the cost for the fix, two trips and hours spent there I now have to take and pay for it to be fixed somewhere else. Lesson learned and saw that there where other bad reviews. I was waited on at 8:20 and at 9 my car was still not being serviced. manager Chris is very nice but kept reminding guys to fill out time cards over the intercom and called them to the front for a meeting. Our vehicle was taken into tire Kingdom on April 18 to prepare for a trip to Baltimore Maryland. Two new tires and complete rotation oil change etc. to make sure that the vehicle is safe. June 24 while driving down the hill in Baltimore, the front left tire started shaking and ripped off the car. Yes, the tire CAME OFF. Luckily, no harm to the occupants. $2000 later, With the Mazda dealership stating that the lug nuts were not torqued to the correct specifications...Tire Kimgdoms insurance company DENIED responsibility and reimbursement. This is a tire company. They specialize in tires. The tire came off! Apparently that service person skipped class on lug nut day. Between the "service" and the accident, we are out over $2000. A senior friend of mine was towed to Tire Kingdom after she hit a curb. She is on a very limited income and let them know she couldn't afford much to fix her problem. They quoted her over $1000 for her estimate. She called me for advice. I called Matt at Alert Tire. He told me to bring the car to him to check. Alert said the quoted estimate was not necessary. He smoothed off the rim, checked all her tires and called us to pick up the car. There was no charge for his service. Shame on Tire Kingdom for taking advantage of a senior. Kudos to Alert Tire for their honesty and excellent service. read more

08/13/10 Invoice #41684076, order #10594151.. Yes it was a long time ago, but the 4 shocks I paid to have installed were supposed to have installed went bad. The front ones were not original shocks, but the rear ones had the Toyota markings on both of them, indicating the struts came on the car. They, TK, surely didn't go to a Toyota Dealership just to get a set of back struts.. The total invoice in 2010 was $866. $280 for 2 rear struts & $110 for labor, this was pure profit for the store. Also, when you get a free tire rotation with oil change, mark your tires with chalk before you leave it to be sure you got a "free" rotation. read more

The experience with Tire Kingdom has me understanding why people pay more to have their vehicles repaired at the dealership. As I write this review...this is my 7th time waiting 2 hours because of a defective tire. I had my tires replaced and immediatley noticed one of the tires was out of balance. I brought the vehicle back for an oil change and requested that Tire Kingdom balance and rotate the tires. Upon leaving the tire remained out of balance in the same exact spot...which suggested that they did not rotate the tires. I brought the vehicle back again and complained to the Manager (Chris). I spent another two hours waiting before being assurred that the problem had been resolved. Upon leaving the tire remained out of balance in the same exact spot...suggesting again that the tires had not been rotated. I brought the vehicle back again and complained to the Manager (Chris). I left the vehicle with Tire Kingdom and advised that they could keep the car for as long as necessary...just fix the problem. Again I was advised that the problem was corrected. Upon leaving the parking lot I noticed that the tire only had 13 lbs. of air pressure. I turned around and advised the Manager (Chris) of what occurred. He had one of the tech reinflate the tire...which was filled to 40 lbs. I woke up the following day find the tire had deflated. At this point my patience was starting to wear thin. I brought the vehicle back to Tire Kingdom and two hours later I was told that the tech failed to propertly tighten the valve stem. This time the technician inflated all the tires to 40 lbs. I departed again only to find the same issue as I drove on the highway...in the same exact spot...again suggesting that the tires were not rotated. At this point I called Tire Kingdom and spoke with the Manager (Chris). I expressed my frustration over what occurred and said that I would replace all the tires with an upgrade if that was possible because I didn't have time to keep bringing the vehicle back. I was told to bring the vehicle back and that matter would be resolved. Again...I brought the vehicle back and again the same issue occurred in the same spot immediately upon departure. At least this time the tires were properly inflated. I came back to Tire Kingdom again and spoke with the Manager (Chris) and advised that we were either going to resolve the problem or I would take the vehicle to dealership and file an action in small claims court. At this point I was finally allowed to go for a test ride with the mechanic, who immediatley noticed the same issue. The mechanic took the car back to the shop, rebalanced and finally...rotated the tires. We took the vehicle for another test ride and the same vibration occurred...except this time in the area where the tire was moved. This confirmed that the tire were not rotated on the previous visits as requested. We took the vehicle back to the shop and the mechanic notified the Manager (Chris) of what occurred. I was advised that he would speak with the owner (Mo) and that the problem would be resolved. Three days passed and I finally called Tire Kingdom headquarters to complain. I was put in contact with the General Manager (Mo), who advised that I would need to file a claim with Continental tires and bring the vehicle back again...which is where I am now. It was at this time that I learned Continental manufactures tires specifically for Tire Kingdom...which is probably why they will push these tires on you. How many times does the same problem have to occur before the Manager intervenes and personally test drives the vehicle? If the problem exists between 60 and 80 miles per hour...why would the Manager allow the mechanics to test drive the vehicle in the parking lot? What is the appropriate amount of times a problem occurs before someone suggests filing a claim with the manufacturer? Why does Tire Kingdom not stand by the product that they recommend and make the customer responsible for filing a defective product claim with the manufacturer? This is the absolute worst and unprofessional service I have ever encountered...and that speaks volumes in this day and age. These businesses are excited to take your money and far less enthusiastic about fixing the problems caused by their product. This is the last time I will ever do business with Tire Kingdom. If you're considering Tire Kingdom...I will only say that setting your money on fire will be a far better use of your time. read more

Told them one had a slow leak and the other went flat within an hour. they patched the one with the slow leak and "couldnt find" the hole in the other took the tires home went to put them on the vehicle and you could literally hear the air coming from the one they couldn't find... wasted 3 hours there never again read more

I just left this store. I was there with my husband trying to get help with a tire. I went to the rest room and came back. My husband said they don't wanna help us. It was 5:24 and they close at 6. Just because my husband is dar color skin?? Really?? That was the reason not to help us because he did help someone else right after.. I giving 1 star because I can't give anything lower. read more

My wife took her car in this morning at 10:00 for 2 front tires and an alignment and at 12:30 she finally went to the counter and asked if the car was done yet and they had not even put it on the lift!!!!! 2 1/2 hours!! They NEVER even let her know the status of her car until she asked! They did not even have the respect to let her know anything. Oh we were busy.......is the response they gave her. I cant see why this place got 5 stars from anyone because that is really poor customer service and no way to run a company. Was is because it was a woman that brought the car in????? Good Manager - Lazy Employees Brought in wife's car for flat tire repair at 5:02 PM. Manager Moe M. was just leaving (off) but stayed to complete work order and computer entry. He left and the fun began. I watched through the large customer glass window so you can see the "work" being done by the "workers". definitely not technicians. The only work 1 did was doing pull ups on a customer's custom Dodge Magnum's front wheel that was on the elevated rack. His only other work was to check the with a torque wrench that my wife's rear tire was on tightly. He spent the rest of the time talking and joking with his "work mates". My "technician only took 51 minutes to repair the flat and balance tire. He had to talk and joke between each step of the way. The oil change "technician was changing the oil on the car when I pulled in. He was still changing the oil at 5:53 PM when I left. Got to have time for jokes and horseplay. "Worker" #4 was blowing their trash into the roadway with the air hose and dumping the trash cans for the entire time I was watching. If I was with Corporate, I would have fired all 4 on the spot. Instead business was turned away because they were "busy". Never again! Think what would happen to your car if it was more complicated than an oil change or flat repair! read more

I brought my car to Tire Kingdom due to a low tire and their late hours. I was told there was a nail in the tire and that a patch was put in and I paid them $32.00. The next day my tire was flat again so I took it back to them and was told that the person who originally put the patch on the tire put one on that had a tear in it and that is why my tire was still leaking air. Kudos for fixing it but you should have done it right the first time. Needless to say I won't go back there. read more
