Not a place to come to feel well or welcome. My bf came to ask if they had a medicine bought at a natural grocer in the area. The woman (grey hair, pigtails) said 'we don't have that but we have other things for [assume indication]'. My friend politely declined. We turned to leave and as we walked out she audibly sighed then scoffed and shouted "Good luck finding that!!!" Im not sure what the issue is in this store. I thought it was a misinterpretation of her behavior. It was wasn't: I also used their restroom shared with their next door neighbor. The same woman banged on the door like she wanted to break in or she was breaking in or was the police. Who beats the door that hard and aggressively? She knows it's a tiny room. It was a few mins per my parking timer. So much banging. Since we already found and bought what we looked for here at the local organic specialty grocery (7 mins away via GPS) we'll stay going to the grocery to restock and not restock at whatever this is. I received first class service from Dr. April Segal, who is the founder and pharmacist. REMEDY is two normally separate worlds beautifully living together....and it's amazing. It's a legit pharmacy with all of the regular prescriptions and over the counter items plus they are a compounding pharmacy. In addition, they have tons of herbal remedies and Herbalists on staff. Interesting experience just walking in to Remedy Holistic. I was expecting a staff member available to help or answer questions. Spent the first five minutes in the store alone while overhearing personal conversations from the back. An employee did finally come out only to start stocking shelves with out as much as a hello or welcome. Not a how can I help, nothing. She was about to walk straight into me so I finally got a "hello, welcome" I asked about a specific product and she said we don't have that and turned and walked away to continue stocking shelves. As far as the shop, it's small, they do carry more holistic products than not but it seems to be more of a wellness gift shop with a few select herbs and a window that does help it give off a pharmacy vibe. I guess I would know more if the staff was interested in how they could help rather than the few word interaction. read more

Very poor customer service, the owner Dr Segal and her employees are condescending and rude. My partner called in to see if her prescription was ready yet. They let her know it was already picked up, which couldn't be possible because neither of us went in to do so. They proceeded to call her a liar multiple times, saying the prescription was picked up last week. She talked to 3 different people until getting to the Owner, Dr. Segal, who was nothing short of unprofessional. Only under the threat of a formal complaint did the prescription magically show up because "someone put it in the wrong spot". How unbelievably ridiculous. Expect formal complaints with the dept of health and human services and the California state board of pharmacy. Do better read more

I recently went to see Anne, the Lead Clinical Herbalist at Remedy and am SO impressed!! She literally spends time and energy getting the right plan into place to help cure whatever ailments you are needing to treat. Within a few weeks I had drastic changes and it almost completely cleared up in a month. Prior to seeing Anne I went to a holistic doctor who was charging me $200 for 30 minutes, plus about $500 a month in supplements & $900 for testing. Anne was able to get me on a plan for $120 starting supplements and using a tea she made. She checks in often and truly cares about her patients. Something I didn't feel was happening with my prior doctor. Anne is SO knowledgeable about the body and offers amazing recommendations. If you've been struggling with health issues, give her a try. I was so excited when this pharmacy was coming up in my neighborhood. I always love a holistic approach to medicine so this place was right up my ally! Most exciting part of it all is that they have the most amazing staff that is very knowledgeable about all of the items in the shop. They have herbalist named Anne on site (among others) and on Saturdays they have a company called body blu that gives vitamin shots. I just love this place and all the cool and unique and natural beauty items that are available. I can get my favorite night time sleepy bear gummies there. What an amazing pharmacy! My son was suffering from horrible sinus infection, strep throat and mono and the only relief was the magic mouthwash gargle but are pharmacy could not make it because it was a compound. In a very big pinch, I looked up compound pharmacies that were open on Saturday and Remedy was so nice and offered to wait on hold with CVS so they could make sure my son got his prescription. They called me back and told me that they were able to transfer the prescription and were even going to stay late for me! That is the best customer service ever! Great pharmacy! I found this pharmacy because the other compounding place I was using was taking over a week to fill my prescriptions so my practitioner switched me. And I am so thankful she did. Her knowledge is over the top amazing for exactly what i needed to finally heal a chronic auto immune disorder. (7 doctors could not figure out what I needed and sent me on my way wishing me luck). I saw this pharmacy on a walk. I looked online and loved the idea of a pharmacist being personal and helpful (as well as supporting a small business). I final was able to make it in and April (pharmacist and owner) was extremely helpful with a new medication I was about to begin. She gave me a website regarding the new medication and Even called the doc to recommend something. I will be transferring all my medications from my normal big box pharmacy to Remedy. This pharmacy is so pretty, I want to live in it. The pharmacist/owner was really friendly and helped me pick out a nose spray for my allergies and some herbal supplements for stress. She said they can fill prescriptions like you would get at CVS or a big chain pharmacy.
