During my consultation, NP Lucero explicitly stated that she was prescribing me brand-name Ozempic. However, upon receiving the medication, I discovered that I was provided with a generic compound instead. This misrepresentation raised immediate concerns regarding transparency and informed consent. Furthermore, upon inspecting the medication, my primary physician advised me strictly against taking it due to severe packaging violations. Specifically, the medication arrived without a lot number printed on the packaging--a direct violation of federal and state pharmaceutical safety regulations and laws governing prescription labeling. In addition to receiving a generic compound instead of the promised brand-name Ozempic, the medication was provided pre-drawn in entirely unlabeled syringes. The packaging contained no lot number, expiration date, or any identifying information. Because the syringes and packaging lacked labeling or a traceable lot number, there was no way to verify the liquid inside, rendering the medication untraceable and unsafe to administer. Misrepresenting prescribed medications and distributing improperly labeled, untraceable pharmaceuticals poses a serious risk to patient safety. Due to these illegal dispensing practices and professional misconduct, I am submitting a formal complaint to the California Board of Registered Nursing for a full investigation into NP Lucero's practice.
