The guy who pierced my baby's ears was so kind and patient and understanding. He's definitely a pro. He sanutized his hands and the workspace before getting started. He used brand new needles, and explained the difference between using a needle (cleaner, safer, less painful) vs a gun (more trauma/damage to the ear, and more likely to cause infection). He was super patient in between piercings because after the first ear she realized what was happening. He took his time and was so great with her.
