It might be strange to write a review for a baby piercing at a tattoo parlor but that's exactly what this is. I brought my 10 month old here to get hers ears pierced. The guy who pierced my baby's ears was so kind and patient and understanding. He's definitely a pro. He sanutized his hands and the workspace before getting started. He used brand new needles, and explained the difference between using a needle (cleaner, safer, less painful) vs a gun (more trauma/damage to the ear, and more likely to cause infection). He was super patient in between piercings because after the first ear she realized what was happening. He took his time and was so great with her. I highly recommend this place for baby ear piercings. Tip them well! read more

A few papers had to be signed and once my piercing was being done it was so fast, I literally asked "it's done?" It was so easy and quick. I did a lot of research when looking to where to get my first tattoo. The main things I was looking for was: quality of work, fair pricing, experience and a safe/clean establishment. After checking the reviews, portfolios, websites etc. of several establishments in Brooklyn in my eyes this was the clear option. It's owned by a beautiful and kind hispanic family who spoke both English and Spanish. The place itself was incredibly clean, well kept, had modern touches, lots of seating and even a vending machine. I was a walk in as it stated they accepted walk-ins online and luckily someone had canceled so the available artist had time for my piece which I am incredibly thankful for! The artist was very patient with me and listened to exactly what I wanted. I was involved in the entire design process and he made sure I was happy with the final piece, the stencil, the placement, size, font etc. I was nervous because I thought it would hurt a lot but it didn't! It was very tolerable and he made sure to be very sanitary. It took a little less then a hour and my total was around 108$ (which is reasonable considering other places with similar qualifications I was looking for wanted to charge me 200-300$) they accepted credit card payment which was very helpful. He gave me simple after care instructions and I loved the experience I am more then 100% satisfied. The picture was right when it was finished hence the redness but now it's not red anymore. I had gotten my ears pierced before not at Aztec Ink and unfortunately one of my earlobe piercings got infected so I had to wait for it to heal and close. When re-piercing my ear, I chose to go to Aztec Ink due to the cost and location in Brooklyn. The staff was very quick and helpful in answering any questions I had and I did not need to make an appointment. The wait was probably about ~15 minutes since I walked in and the piercing itself was easy breezy, over in a jiffy. You can choose what type of jewelry material to use for the initial piercing but I just went with the lowest cost default which I think was a medical grade titanium post. After two years of getting my belly piercing, I went back to get my nipples pierced on a Friday early afternoon. Walk-ins are welcome even after covid. Mariano did my piercing again and he still did a GREAT job. Very professional and hygienic, as always. He allowed my bf to hold my hand during the process haha. I'm surprised he didn't ask if it was okay for him to pierce me and not a female worker. I didn't have a problem with it because I trust him more. Mariano is the absolute best! I have about 11 tattoos in total and half are done by Mariano. (I have not gone to anyone else since I found him.) Before going in, I usually send him a DM on Instagram with the design I want, from there we coordinate a price and time to get it done. He is very responsive with reasonable prices, both small and large pieces. When I was still looking for artists, I would ask other artists for price estimates on the same pieces before and others have always given me a higher rate. Mariano is gentle, patient and very good at what he does. I will never go to another tattoo artist. His line work is amazing and his detailing is even better. Honestly one of the best experiences with a piercing I've had. I've had 2 piercings done before, one at The End Is Near in Parkslope and the other at Whatever Tattoo in St. Mark's Place but I think for my fourth piercing, I'll be coming back to Aztec Tattoo! The receptionist was verg kind and helpful and Mariano, my piercer, was such a nice dude. He checked my anatomy to make sure that the jewelry would suit my face. He even let me choose between two sizes of jewelry. The process was quick and practically painless. Mariano also checked out another piercing of mine that had become agitated and I'm suuuuper anxious about these kind of things so that was a big help! Upon researching tattoo removal for about 1 year now, getting consultations, and receiving price quotes from different places around NYC I decided to make my final decision and come here to Aztec Ink. I have two tattoos that are both almost 15 years old that I would like removed. Upon speaking to Juana at Aztec Ink I realized that she is knowledgable and not just out for the money. There are an array of things that can go wrong including scarring and burning but Juana assured me that this is not what Aztec Ink is about. She uses the laser on a certain level and pays close attention to the contributing factors including the most important ones which are skin tone and skin type. I had my first treatment on both tattoos and so far all is well. It is extremely painful as expected but the pain will be worth not having tattoos that I feel no longer fit into my life as an adult. Her prices are good and she was willing to work with me being that I am getting more than 1 tattoo removed. The price is the least of my concern in a situation like this but it helps that it is affordable being that this will be somewhat of a long process. The removal on average takes about 4-10 sessions every 6 weeks. So far after my first session the tattoos are healing nicely with no signs of scarring or infection. It is way too early to tell what the final result will be but I trust that this will work out well. Updates will come! read more

I got my nose pierced here a while ago and it was painless easy and took about 30 seconds in total, but the piercer pierced it twice (as in he put the needle into my nose twice. They give you a piercing with a screw on and for me, that was very uncomfortable and eventually got it changed to an L-shaped one. I did develop a keloid and it is slowly going away but it was such a stubborn keloid. Even if the place was very clean and neat, I still developed a keloid which was very unfortunate. read more
