To my surprise, the pandan cream top is actually vegan. Salted egg cream top latte - My friend got this one and liked it a lot. Overall- Looking forward to coming back and trying their ube drinks.

Being a huge matcha fan, I was all set to order one, but then I spotted a unique drink on the menu called "Fluffy Hojicha." I got curious and asked a staff member what hijocha was. They told me it has a distinct roasted flavor, which really intrigued me. Not knowing what to expect from a roasted tea, I decided to give it a try. The wait for my sister's drink, along with a crème brûlée donut and a strawberry donut, was just a quick 3-5 minutes. The first sip of the Hojicha caught me off guard; it wasn't my favorite right away. But with each sip, I started to appreciate and eventually really enjoy the unique roasted flavor of the tea. The crème brûlée donut was a lovely addition - just the right amount of sweetness without being too much. ELNO is located in a building with other small vendors, and there's a seating area that fits only two to three people. I found parking easily since I went on a weekday around 4 PM. My sister mentioned that on weekends, parking is a real hassle. It's definitely worth stopping by if you're in the neighborhood.

I paid $32 for a small cup of fried items and $15 for a halo-halo drink, and neither came close to justifying the price. The fried food was dry, bland, and tasted like it had been sitting out far too long. There was no freshness, no flavor--just oil and disappointment. For that price, I expected something at least memorable... it was memorable, just not in a good way. The halo-halo was equally underwhelming. It was noticeably watered down, lacking the rich, creamy flavor you expect. Again, for $15, that's pretty unacceptable. What makes this more frustrating is that this was at a festival, where vendors should be putting their absolute best forward to attract new customers. If this was their "best," I'd hate to see what a normal day looks like. Between the high prices, tiny portions, and poor quality, this felt like a complete miss. I don't mind paying premium prices at events--but the food has to back it up. This didn't. I wouldn't return, and I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

I literally finished the drink within 5 sips. This was purchased at the Glendale College festival. Service was quick and a little hiccupy. Adorable menu, high prices and questionable portions. Review on the drink: The drink itself was a Calamansi refresher made with some of the zest. It had a nice green color and was neither too sweet with a light tang. An excellent drink and at the same time ruined by miser portions. Consumer be warned.

Churro Hub is a whimsical place with food, drinks, games and so much more!…read more I LOVE Churros and when I saw their store name, I just had to check it out. I see Churros.. and I buy one or a few! I'm usually getting Churros from a stand at a festival.. but when I saw the store, I had to go inside : ) Service was a little slow, not many people were waiting. Maybe they make items to order. My items were hot. Location is at a strip mall, lots of parking. I got the Cinnamon Sugar Churro with sauces to go. I would have wanted to stay, have a coffee and play a game or two, but I had to get home so I placed my order to go. The place looked so fun, a place to hang out for all different ages. I saw vintage toys and items for sale; the place looked like a wonderful place for a collector to have a great time adding to his or her collection. The place has cool vibes. Next time I'm in town, I plane to enjoy my Churros inside. Cheers!~

The prices are not commensurate to the type of strip mall and overall valley location that the spot is in. Also, the churros took 10 minutes yet somehow tasted stale and lacking cinnamon. This place might be for those that like to make their life hard...those that expect a treat to have drawbacks...those who enjoy paying more for less. Admittedly, good churros in the valley are hard to come by. Churro Man sucks, and Junior's Churros switched over to catering because they were the best on the streets. Come here if you don't believe me, but I promise you won't be back.

Who knew a pop-up dessert place could be this good???…read more Okay, call me a snob, but I believe a dessert location should have four walls and some little colored tables and chairs. My favorite pastry shops and ice cream parlors all fit this description. The idea of chocolate-drenched strawberries doesn't quite match the hustle and street noise you find next to a carnitas or falafel truck. So I drove by this brightly lit, cheerful, stand for almost a year before I decided I had to try it. In a war between my love of chocolate and my love of propriety, my snootiness could only hold out so long. And boy am I glad I caved! When I ordered a Dubai Chocolate Strawberry dessert, I got a big clear cup with layers of cut strawberries, warm chocolate syrup, pistachio syrup, and shredded crispy filo dough, which is like sweet shredded wheat. It all mixed together in a dessert that was TOTALLY DECADENT! They also sell gourmet Dubai Chocolate bars that have the same mix of chocolate, pistachio and filo (no strawberries). These days, I think about this place more than I should. Recently, they were absent from their corner next to Gelson's in Valley Village, and I was so worried they'd moved, I called the owner! He assured me it was only the rain keeping them away. I'll leave you with this thought. There's some amazing ice cream/gelato places around town, some terrific pastry shops, but there's only one Dubai Chocolate Strawberry stand that makes Dubai Chocolate-Covered Strawberries this good. Ya' gotta try it!

It is always fun to try new pop-up food stands, and pop-up dessert stands are a special treat…read more I just tried Strawberry, the pop-up Dubai chocolate strawberry cup stand under the Gelson's sign, on the corner of Laurel and Riverside in Valley Village. My hubby and I were helped by Jasmine, who was welcoming, sweet, and very friendly. She gave us Dubai chocolate samples, and then little sample cups of the Dubai chocolate strawberry cup topped with baked Filo dough for crunch. We wound up sharing the large Dubai chocolate strawberry cup for $18. The strawberries were plump and sweet and fresh. The pistachio cream was rich and delicious. The chocolate was melty, and as we ate, hardened into a nice little shell. The shreds of baked Filo dough gave it a very nice crunch. It was really fun having a parking lot picnic! You couldn't ask for a friendlier or nicer employee than Jasmine. She really sold it! This isn't something you eat every day because it's extremely rich, filling, and admittedly, quite expensive. But I could see myself getting a hankering and going back again one night when I'm in the mood for a sweet Dubai chocolate strawberry cup.
