Churro Hub is a whimsical place with food, drinks, games and so much more! I LOVE Churros and when I saw their store name, I just had to check it out. I see Churros.. and I buy one or a few! I'm usually getting Churros from a stand at a festival.. but when I saw the store, I had to go inside : ) Service was a little slow, not many people were waiting. Maybe they make items to order. My items were hot. Location is at a strip mall, lots of parking. I got the Cinnamon Sugar Churro with sauces to go. I would have wanted to stay, have a coffee and play a game or two, but I had to get home so I placed my order to go. The place looked so fun, a place to hang out for all different ages. I saw vintage toys and items for sale; the place looked like a wonderful place for a collector to have a great time adding to his or her collection. The place has cool vibes. I really wanted to like this place. The vibe is kitschy, cluttered, but sweet. The eclectic, colorful ambience gives way to (unfortunately) overpriced coffee and churros. The prices are not commensurate to the type of strip mall and overall valley location that the spot is in. Also, the churros took 10 minutes yet somehow tasted stale and lacking cinnamon. This place might be for those that like to make their life hard...those that expect a treat to have drawbacks...those who enjoy paying more for less. Admittedly, good churros in the valley are hard to come by. Churro Man sucks, and Junior's Churros switched over to catering because they were the best on the streets. I stopped by on Thursday to pick up some churros using the Too Good to Go app. There is plenty of parking outside but there is still allot of car traffic outside because it's a big shopping center. Upon entering the shop I enjoyed looking around, there are tables and games to play and the staff said that in the evenings it gets crowded with people playing games or playing cards. I received a batch of churros sprinkled with sugar, and I was excited to try them, however my batch was a bit chewy and not fully cooked through. I ended up refrigerating them and then warming them up on another day and after rewarming them they cooked through and became crispy again on the outside and soft on the inside. I would definitely come back to try more things, they offer more than just churros, and I love the vibe of the place! read more

While shopping next door at Villarta, I discovered this delicious gem that specializes in churros. The space is pretty cute with few tables, benches and small seating counter. It's kind of cool to sit and admire all fun décor - toys, books, stuff animals. board games, and knick-knacks. I ordered half dozen churros ($9) with chocolate sauce and abuelita drink ($6). Churros are delicious and chocolate sauce pairs nicely. They are made to order and fresh. I enjoyed abueleta chocolate, perfect richness without being overly sweet. Hint of cinnamon and nutmeg is nice. In addition to churros they also have funnel cakes as well, which I definitely need to try on my next visit. Staff is friendly, but kind slow service. Been multiple times and it gets worse and worse each time. EXTREMELY slow service. So much on the various menus and it's confusing what corresponds to what. I ordered for pickup through to good to go and I had to wait for my ordered to be prepared. There are Tuesday BOGO's advertised on multiple places but they are closed on Tuesdays. A lot of what is on the menu isn't actually available. This place is really cute inside, I've been wanting to check it out when I come down to SoCal but the past two times I tried they were closed, I guess staffing issues. I found they have a deal on Too Good To Go, so I decided to get it, for sure it would be open and I'd get to try a surprise bag at a discount. I got two surprise bags for $3.99 each, ended up getting two half dozen orders of churros. While the churros were pretty good, I was disappointed they didn't come with a dipping sauce as their regular menu lists it as included. So my total came out to just under $9 with taxes, for a regular price of $9.95+tax would have gotten the sauces I guess. First time here and I loved the concept. I also love that they have so many specials and unique food items. I ordered two drinks: the mazapán latte and horchata latte (both with oat milk). Compared to other local coffee shops, their drinks are pretty good. A tad bit sweet for my taste but my husband enjoyed them; he has a sweet tooth. :D The staff is welcoming and attentive. I have been to churrohub before to get the regular menu items, but discovered Too Good Too Go and placed an order with the app but the employees didnt seem to know what it is and just gave me 5 churros and they were kinda raw and doughy, i have been here multiple times and the churros were more golden and fully cooked and i payed 5.99 on the app for 5 churros, the cafe was more decorated this time and it was very cool, just need to work kore on churros and the service. read more

I found this spot through Too Good to Go. The cafe is quite a scene when you walk in. Trinkets and tchotchkes everywhere you turn. With books and board games you definitely get the sense that you're welcomed to stay as long as you'd like and that was a nice vibe. I had purchased a surprise churro bag but when I arrived to pick it up the girl informed me that she would be with me in a minute. She had about 4 other customers waiting and was the only one working that I could see behind the counter. I ended up waiting like 15-20 minutes just for her to later tell me that they had no bag ready and would be making new churro dough however it would be about 30 min to an hour. I'm sorry but....no that is a crazy long amount of time for something that was technically supposed to be ready for pick up. She offered a funnel cake instead which I gladly took her up on. I got it to go and got home to see that the mountain of whipped cream she put on it had completely melted on the freshly fried funnel cake.....it was a little soggy on the bottom but it was still yummy. It was also a little confusing to read their menu as they have different signs plastered everywhere and the digital menu they have rotates so fast you can't even read it in one go. I think a little decluttering would help with presentation. I'd want to give it another try so I can taste their churros. read more

It was 11 am and 100 degrees outside so I decided to stop by for an iced coffee and I am so glad that I did. Christine took my order and I was leaning towards the iced horchata latte. I asked her about the sweetness level and told her that I love my coffee on the sweet side and she assured me that it would be. I took her word and waited inside while she made it. The inside of the cafe has table seating, unique decor, and free books. Christine was extremely nice and even asked if I wanted to try it first just in case I wanted it sweeter. The first sip was soooo good and the sweetness level was perfect for me. I could taste the horchata flavor, which I loved. I ordered the abuelita and mazapán lattes and requested them as bitter as possible. They did a great job as they abided by my requests. I didn't get the staff's name (young black male and a latina maybe in her 30s) but they're the only reason I'm giving a better review. This establishment is cool but I've showed up previous times and even though it's business hours, they leave for 4 hour long lunches- see attached pic. Oh well. Menu offers various alternatives (nondairy milks, cereal shakes, ice creams, etc.) but their tactic of having you pay with cash (4% discount) seems sketch. They also take forever... was there easily 20 mins and there was only one order ahead of me. May come back if I have time to kill, or want to play with their board games or look at their art. I've been looking forward to visiting this cute neighborhood churro place. I got the 5 pack churro and the Abuelita Latte. Both were good. The churros were super fresh and with a little cajeta, yummy! There are four sauces to pick from: cajeta, lechera, sweet cream and chocolate. They also have some ready made food that I will try another day. The most exciting thing is that it's in the community next to Panda.
