It was very bizarre experience with Dr. Michael Shulman. He just bragged and bragged obviously enjoying what he is saying. He didn't want to listen to me at all. I'm really doubt about all good reviews. May be they ask all their relatives and friends to post reviews. May be his wife is better. I had all my implants done here. An amazing job! The teeth are simply beautiful. Both doctors are highly professions and both LOVE what they do. Dr. Anita is the best. Professional and knowledgeable. First went to Renaissance Dental Group (RDG) in late 1990s. When insurance coverage at work changed around 2004, went to a different dentist to be completely disappointed. Luckily, the dental coverage changed again and Dr. Anita was a participating dentist in the plan. Hurray! She offered advice about the benefits of porcelain inlays which I spent the extra money to get done, and I have not had to get a filling redone since then (at least 15 years). read more

Just recently got my wisdom teeth pulled out by Anita. She is such an amazing dentist with a gentle touch and much patient care. From the first consultation she listened to what I needed and wanted. The previous dentist I had never mentioned that my wisdom teeth needed to come out, yet Anita found that they were already decayed! She took extra time to make me feel comfortable and counseled me before and after the procedure. It's hard to have a good experience when your teeth are being extracted but Anita accomplished that. I went to Renaissance Dental today for an emergency appointment. I've grown up hating the dentist and not keeping up with going because I was always scared. Well my teeth aren't the greatest but they are not the worst. From making the appointment, to the receptionist, dental hygienist and Dr. Shulman everyone made a very scary experience for me very comfortable. I am a new patient and they treated me like I have been going there for years. It was a great experience and Dr. Shulman will stay my dentist now for a long time and I will definitely refer family and friends to them. read more

This is a great Dental group and highly recommend Dr Anita Shulman and her Staff. The office manager Megan is extremely nice and helpful. So... I am highly skeptical of these 4 other reviews on here. First off no one writing is local in the Cliffside Park area. This is my first Yelp review... I have always used it for reading, but this business is the first to make me feel strongly enough to post on it. Anyway, let me tell you, as a Cliffside resident, I moved to town and was looking for a dentist, so I tried Renaissance Dental. What a mistake! I went first and I was told I had a couple of cavities. Ok, fine... I have had them in the past, so I thought nothing of it and got it done. Then, my wife went ... she has had outstanding teeth her entire life, never any problems. Dr Shulman tells her she has SEVEN cavities! Can you believe it? That is when I knew this guy was nothing but a scam artist. My wife also told me she had never had so much pain with a dentist working on her mouth. Also of note, she told him we were soon to be getting married, and he spent minutes on end pitching his teeth whitening programs. So, my wife and I went to another dentist in Bergen County who did her X-Rays, looked at her teeth and more, and confirmed her teeth were absolutely FINE. Zero issues to speak of. Amazing. So, I have not been to Renaissance in well over a year now. Yet, even though I called them over 12 months ago asking them to forward my X-rays to my new dentist, they called me last week to try and schedule me for an appointment. When I didn't return their calls, I received a text saying I had been automatically scheduled for an appointment next week. These people are simply amazing and it is my belief whatever business they are running is extremely unethical. I would never recommend them. read more

Dr. Shulman is very thorough and discusses your care with you. She's very caring and gentle in her treatment. I also really like the staff, and rarely do I have to wait more than 5-10 minutes. As if that wasn't already great, they offer appointments after 5pm. read more

From 2002, I have been a patient here. Unfortunately, I wasn't born with perfect teeth. With Dr. Mike, I had dental implants, sinus lifts, bone grafts, and root canals as well as regular deep cleanings and fillings. I started going to Dr. Anita Shulman what seems like ages ago...it's been 13 years and I haven't regretted a moment since stepping into her office.
