I have now visited this spa four times. Twice alone, and twice bringing a friend or family member. Without exception, the service, the quality and expertise of the masseuse, and the overall experience has been exemplary! I personally have visited several spas throughout the country, and one of my family members has enjoyed spas in Europe. She and I both agree that our massages were the "best" we've had. Super upset about how they have handled their own cancellation of my appointment. I received a call 11 minutes before my scheduled appointment to say they needed to cancel. I took the morning off in order to get this massage, which was a waste of my work paid time off. The owner (Jason) offered an appointment an hour and a half later but it would not work with my schedule because I needed to pick up my son for an appointment of his own at 12 for his drivers license test. My son's school, the same school I teach in, is 20 minutes away and 20 minutes away back into town to the DMV. If I would of known, I wasn't going to have an appointment by 8am, I could have canceled the morning half of my PTO and worked a half day, so it wouldn't go to waste. The owner then offered to reschedule for another day, which would mean I would take another half day off of work to come to another appointment that might be canceled 11 minutes before the scheduled time. Again, I am a teacher and taking off of work has more work in planning for a sub than actually being at work teaching myself. You would think that the Owner would have offered something better than 20% off a future service, considering they take your credit card number at the time of the scheduled appointment in the event the customer cancels. So, if the customer cancels they charge the customer the fee for the services they canceled. So, I honestly think that since Renaissance European Spa canceled they should owe me the fee for my scheduled service, $70, or at least give my husband the money back for the gift card he bought for me for my birthday and I could go somewhere else. read more

Came in for a package with a pedicure, facial and massage with a friend and it was amazing ! The girls that did our pedicures were so sweet and were very attentive with our mimosas and waters. The facial and massage were super relaxing as well. Front desk girls were a delight too! And just enough wait time between services to enjoy a mimosa before the next! Very welcoming and friendly when I entered. Had water and snacks available while I filled out paperwork. Nancy performed my prenatal massage and made me feel very comfortable and easy going. It's not often that I let myself have a spa day, so when I saw how good the prices were here, I was excited to have a treat myself day. It was such a pleasant experience the moment I stepped in. I was greeted by a sweet receptionist who made the checkin process easy, shown to a beautiful and intimate waiting room, and invited back to my massage quickly. The entire spa area has a grotto-like feel, the music is beautiful and relaxing, and there are lots of natural sounds like water flowing. My massage therapist Krystal was wonderful and attentive. When asking her about how she got into massage therapy and her job, she mentioned how much she loved working here and how happy she was. Her actual massage work was wonderful. She adjusts her style easily and worked out every knot and muscle, and even for more intense areas I could have drifted off to sleep with how wonderful her touch is. My facial specialist was Emily. Her knowledge of skin care is incredible, as she studied dermatology and focuses on just that. She's funny and informative, explaining every step and answering any questions along the way. It was soothing even when getting at deep problem spots. While speaking to her, she also said that she loves her job and loves working specifically at Renaissance. My skin today looks incredible already and this specific service I can see myself getting regularly. My manicure and pedicure were done by Sandra. She was an incredibly sweet woman who takes joy in her work and loved seeing a beautiful finished product and a delighted customer. She did wonderful work and I don't think I've ever had a more lovely experience getting my nails done. Once again, she also said how much she loves her work and loves getting to work at Renaissance. By the time I left, I felt like a princess. I have never met so many people who genuinely have the heart of servants and love their job and place of work so much, and I have never felt so relaxed and beautiful. I felt that I made genuine connections and have found a place that I will happily return to the next time I need to feel pretty and relaxed again. The only real complaint I have is the ceiling breaks the illusion of an underground grotto, as it is a business building tile, but if you don't look up, the illusion persists. I loved my experience, it was worth every penny, and I only wish that I could have tipped more. I absolutely plan on referring others and returning (hopefully soon). read more

My husband and I booked the Paris room spa package, and it was perfect! The moment you walk into the spa, it smells so clean and fresh. The staff is so kind, and we immediately relaxed. We had a whole room to ourselves all day, as well as a room with a private jacuzzi with a sun light. The massage therapists explained everything so nicely, and checked in with us to make sure we were comfortable. It was a wonderful massage! After that, we had our facials. Those were basically magic! We both fell in and out of sleep because we were so relaxed. It was so, so nice. They ended our day with a fresh salad and wine and told us to relax before we checked out. We both highly recommend Renaissance! They also so SO many services. Check them out! We can't wait to go back. read more

Absolutely horrible experience with this "spa". My boyfriend planned a wonderful, romantic valentines days evening and coming to this spa for a 3 hr couples treat was one of his many plans that day. However, we must not forget not all establishments conduct themselves professionally. The Valentine's Day MORNING he gets a call from this place saying that they cancelled his appointment because they needed to make room in their schedule for a "big shot/wealthy" customer and decided to give my boyfriend the boot! Very disappointed. I purchased the Gentleman's and the Ladies European Spa Packages for my son and his girlfriend for their May birthdays. I called and purchased for an additional $40 a private room so that they could get their massages and pedicures together. Total 400 They called and scheduled their appointments together the weekend before their special trip to Cabo San Lucas. When they arrived one of their gift cards would not scan. They waited 30 minutes until the manager returned to correct the reader problem. After their massage the confusion began. Expecting the facials and pedicure treatments they were informed that the staff that did the facials were not in and that they would have to reschedule. The pedicures could have been done but not together and not without a wait time. $400.00 bucks for a 2 massages and not a very happy experience. A Spa "PACKAGE" it was NOT. read more

This is a beautiful establishment but there could be more cleaning up in regards to used water and wine glasses in rooms and waiting areas. Also, i do not recommend getting a massage here, i have tried 3 times now with different massauers and have yet to have a good experience. One time i scheduled an entire day to just relaxing at the spa. I couldnt relax because the girl kept coming to check on me every 5 mins during the "relaxing" jacuzzi bath. i guess i will try Lindsay's medical day spa, it may be worth paying for actual relaxation. read more

Took me my girlfriend to get a couples massage. It was her birthday and so I was looking for somewhere that we were getting a experience not just a massage. They said complimentary wine and chocolate would come with it. We arrived to our appointment and after filling out paperwork we were put into a waiting room. The elegance of the room was marred by advertisements and a left over dirty wine glass. We were asked if we would like red or white wine. We were 20 minutes early as we were told to be. We did not arrive wine until 5 minutes before they took us back. Were not offered more wine. We had two ladies as our therapists. Both were nice. The massages were adequate. My massage was good, she was exstensive, my girls therapist was ok, she told me after that she was way to light on pressure. Granted she asked my girlfriend if her pressure was ok and she said yes. It was a 60 min massage. My girls therapist did go above and beyond helping her with her cough with aromatherapy. Our complaint wasn't with the therapists but the overall experience. The man that greeted us which I believe was the owner was nice but when I went back up to the front desk after waiting 15 minutes without anyone saying anything to us nor bringing us wine he proceeded to tell me that "oh well ur early". Um we were told to be early. Whether they were being cheap or inconsiderate or both. This was not a experience at all. We just got a massage that's it. Don't let the fancy words in their name fool you, its just a fancy name for a massage place. We should have went to massage envy. Everyone in town told me to go the the woodhouse day spa. I was pleasantly pleased! My husband and i decided to have couples massages done and i must say, it was fantastic! I'm not sure why some people seem to think that when you say your doing this, somehow there is something sexual to it. Nothing could be further from the truth. It was as professional as could be. I really wish i could remember the name of my masseuse. She was great!!! she said she's been doing massages for twenty years. I don't think it took her five minutes to put me to sleep. My body truly thanks her, especially since i have lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. I can't say enough. it was great. My husband also got some waxing done, and that was great too. i would have given five stars, but they are a little pricey, but sometimes you just deserve to treat yourself. I gave it a three because of its clean and orderly appearance . Had my nails and a Short massage down due to lack of time. The treatments are on the higher price range but I wouldn't say you are getting your money's worth. Be sure not to get a massage therapist who smokes...
