There is one guy in particular at the lumber desk who actually does his best to make you feel like you don't know what you're doing. On FOUR occasions now I've left Perkins and gone up the street to Home Depot where I've been treated kindly and with respect. The woman at the register most days is unbelievably terse and rude. The only reason I still go there is because I made the mistake of creating a prepaid account there, not knowing what the place was like. It's almost as if you walk and and have to convince them all to let you shop there. I'd give the whole lot of them 0 stars if I could.

I returned several times, but it remained lost; finally, after carefully describing it to a bright young man, he went up to the attic and FOUND my lamp! They'd put someone else's name on it; had it not been for MY perseverance and HIS listening skills, I still would not now have that beautiful 19th century floor lamp in my living room!
