Very disappointed in customer service for warranty work. Our window has become difficult to open after 4 years. When we called for warranty service they told us we would have to pay $65 and wait 2 months to have someone come out to look at it! This is a window we need to open and close all summer long so their neglect is very disturbing. This is not the warranty that we paid a large amount of money for with this company. You better hope they install it right the first time and you don't need anybody to come and fix anything. If you do, it will be super hard to get ahold of anybody and when you do, they won't actually listen to you. I had a front door and storm door replaced. Everything was going well for the first 2 weeks, then neither door would close correctly. I emailed and called for 3 weeks with no response, then I finally heard from them and they sent somebody out. He told me to wait another month as the weather stripping just needed more time to settle. Also, the installers took a chunk out of the siding on my house. When I mentioned it to the installers, they claimed that damage was already there, which is was not. The guy that came out also fixed that with some caulking, which is fine, but it leaves a bad taste in my mouth that the installers tried to tell me the damage was already there. Well, a month and a half went by and the door closing problem was not any better. On top of that, because the doors wouldn't close correctly, a wind picked up the storm door and it pulled away from the frame, cracking the frame in the process. I spent a month trying to contact somebody, ANYBODY, at Renewal. The guy that came out and told me to wait another month wouldn't even respond to emails or calls. I sent pictures of the damage and what needed to be fixed. I finally got a generic TEXT message one day that said my part had come in and they scheduled a date for my repair. Never even bothered to call or email to discuss what was wrong. Well guess what? The guy got here today and the only part they ordered was the flashing/weather stripping to fix the closing problem. Nothing to fix the actual part that broke on the storm door. Maybe if somebody would have CONTACTED me, I could have told them what was going on. So now we are going to have to wait who knows how long for them to actually order that part and come out and fix it. Very poor communication and customer service. Even after the doors were installed, nobody contacted us to ask how the install went or if we have any problems or questions, which seems like something a company that claims to have excellent customer service would do. Instead, they made us feel like they just wanted to take our money and run. I recommend NOT using Renewal by Anderson. I am glad I didn't ask them to replace our windows and patio doors. The one thing that RenewalbyAnderson is good at is bait and switch. We waited months to have a patio door installed. After the work was done the company wanted a review. That review would have been glowing if it had been made very clear the cost. When I received the bill I was totally shocked. I was told one price and started making payments. Then the statement came in and was double the price I understood it to be. At this price it will take 5 years to pay. I ask GreenSky about the situation and received an e-mail stating that I would have to talk with Anderson concerning any errors in the statement. At this price I can not make the one year limit without paying a tremendous amount of interest. I was taken advantage because some people think old folks are stupid. They keep asking questions that one of their employees could figure out in a minute or two by looking at the window. Kept asking questions about all windows when I only want to look at buying only one replacement window. Don't know if they feel their people that will measure and give a price are trustworthy or just not capable of evaluating what is needed with the homeowner. I got a quote about 6 months ago and I'm still upset lol. So I have decided to warn the people. Do not get a quote from this company unless you have an extreme about of extra cash lying around and nothing but time to waste. Got a quote for a sliding glass door. It was $17,000. I'm sure it would be high quality but it is not in our price range. The upsetting part was that I called and specifically asked to have a rough quote explaining that I might not be able to do the project until I save enough for it but needed a rough estimate to get an idea of what was possible. I was told this was possible and to expect to spend about 30 mins with the tech who was coming out. After about 1 hour and 45 mins of talking to the window version of a used car sales man, we finally got the quote for 17k. One hour, forty five minutes! The entire time he was there making us watch dumb videos and feel a heat lamp through our window vs their sample window I was fuming. GET OUT OF MY HOUSE CREEP. He measured the door in about 5 minutes. I didn't need a song and dance. I needed a quote. Anyways, the sales person was such a nightmare (assuming all their sales people are trained to be just as aggressive) that I will shout from the roof tops that no one should ever go with this company. Very Odd Customer Service by this company. They showed up to the home I'm having remodeled in Durango CO and refused to speak to my foreman. When I spoke to them on the phone (I live two states away) I asked them to please meet my foreman and he would walk them through so they could give me a price for my replacements but they said they could only do it if I flew up to Durango and met them in person. This is a company that obviously has very rigid policies that would obviously hurt their business. In addition to the really odd questions and comments on the phone to setup an appointment. Totally oddball questions about all my family members needing to be present in order to sell me windows. I would not recommend them at all. read more

When I say this company is the definition of incompetence I am not exaggerating or basing my review on 1, 5 or even 15 negative experiences. My journey with them started appx. 1 year ago. Their staff is friendly, but constantly makes mistakes. They order the wrong products, show up at the wrong times, mess up schedules, don't know their internal staff, don't document things on the customer account, the list goes on & on. The product from Andersen Windows + Doors is good, but the company they allow to license their product is insanely incompetent when it comes to basic communication, scheduling, invoicing, etc. If you use them please be aware you may spend extensive time dealing with all of these short comings. You may make tons of calls, you may have your schedules inconvenienced & pay a premium price to stay onto of your order / install. I know I have...I've probably made 40 + calls & e-mails over the year just trying to get my orders correct & my windows installed...if not more. I have spoken to VPs, managers, front line staff & they are ALL the same. Tons of excuses, but no real policies / procedures to ensure the customer experience goes smoothly. She was readily available and helpful with questions during the manufacturing and scheduling process. When it came time for the windows to be installed, we were again presented with impressive personnel. Jamey B.'s crew, including Bert and Dillion, completed our project in one day as promised and with a level of detailed professionalism that ensures our new windows and patio door were built to last. The final thrilling part of our experience with Renewal by Andersen was the look of envy on our neighbors' faces when the job was complete! Not only were they envious of the quality of the work, but of the fact we used the best for our home. No fly-by-night, cash only freelancers or second tier company for us. Renewal by Andersen is not the cheapest, but we installed windows and a patio door as an investment in our home and it is money well-spent. Don't fall into their trap. The salesman was awesome, but during install the installer told my wife what she wanted to here. So needless to say, the Install was horrible and only took them 4 hours, clue 1. 2 doors with screen doors and 5 windows. We called and they sent out someone to check out the install. He said WOW THIS STINKS!!!! Also stated it should have taken the install atleast 8hours. We were scheduled 2 days for Install. So he wrote it up for a refund and reorder of the doors. His upper management didn't like his writeup so they sent an install manager. He showed up and stated this install stinks and he couldn't believe the install job. He stayed that he was pushing for atleast a 30% discount refund to use. We would here something in 48 business hours. 2 weeks later and multiple phone calls to find out the resolution I get a call. The lady on the other end of the phone stated we have come up with a number for your refund and can mail you a check $1950.20. I was floored at the price and stayed that is way off from what we were told. Like 7 grand less. She stayed to me take it or leave it. That is what corporate America thinks of us hard working Americans. I have called back to try and reach someone else and also called our sales rep with no response. Tody, though, their "marketing geniuses" may have permanently cost them my future business. In the mail was an envelope with NO return address, and inside was a note written on lined yellow paper. Given that I have directly experienced someone being hounded via anony.ous letters (until they committed suicide!) The delivery of this "marketing" campaign created undue and unnecessary anxiety as I opened the letter. I was fully prepared, based on above experiences, to call the police and DEFINATELY had a mild panic attack. Get an ETHICAL marketer, please and skip the cheap gimmicks!!!!! read more

Windows are nice and were installed as expected. However I was surprised that with a $32k project they left the trim of the new expensive doors unpainted. Really makes this project seem unfinished. I would've rather paid an extra $100 or whatever to have you actually finish the project. When I asked the installers about it they said "it's not in the contract." Well no one told me I would have to paint trim when they were selling me the windows and doors. Paying $32k I expected a finished project. read more

Wow! Interesting the majority of these lousy one-star reviews don't address the quality of the product or installation, but the sales tactics. I suppose that's one component of the process of buying new windows, but at least for me, not the most important. Maybe I can provide a more useful review, sans the histrionics. First of all, we called RbA, they didn't call us. We'd purchased our mountain home in 2014, and knew the nearly 35 year old Andersen casement windows were beginning to fail, and would eventually need to be replaced. We called RbA and met with a rep who provided the expected sales pitch, along with the technical aspects of the windows. He measured the nineteen windows, including the three bays we wanted to have replaced, and then we sat down with him as he entered the measurements into his RbA computer program. During this process, we decided what kind of action--awning, casement, gliding, frame color, etc.--widows we wanted. Suffice it to say, our quote was very near $50,000.00. Shortly after we placed our order in December 2017, we were assigned a Customer Relations rep who kept us apprised of every step in the process. Next, an Installation Manager came up who re-measured everything. Then we were advised our windows were being manufactured in their Minnesota plant (can't get more American-made than that), an installation date in late February, 2018 was set, and, as it turned out, was met with no delays. The crew that installed the windows was very professional, very neat, personable, and took care to be an unobtrusive as possible. The installation took about four days. Each window had wood trim, and no less than three RbA representatives recommended Prime Line Decorating (Frank Satterlee) to do the finish work--sanding and staining. In order to secure the bays to the house, the installers necessarily had to drill screws into the woodwork that left 1/2" holes exposed in the most obvious places. Bays windows become more like furniture than windows, and the large holes were a problem. Additionally, the installation crew installed several trim pieces with jagged edges (see pictures). But, we hoped that the finish work to be done by Prime Line would take care of those issues, which, in the case of the screw holes, turned out to be a problem that we finally had to fix ourselves. (Again, my Prime Line review is on this site.) The only other issue we had was that one window spontaneous exploded. Speculation is there was a minute imperfection in the glass, and our elevation (9,000 ft.) contributed to the problem. The window was replaced quickly after a call to customer service. The lifetime warranty on these windows is comprehensive. After six months of 'experiencing' the Andersen windows, I can make a few informed conclusions. These are superb windows, very well made, and they live up to the sales hype--they keep the outside heat outside, and the inside heat inside. In fact, during the hottest days up here, the house is kept really, really cool, sometimes to the extent that a sweater is needed to remain comfortable when it's 80+ degrees outside. We are very happy with these windows, the majority of the install, and less so with the finish work. A caution: If your window needs include bays, be aware that there may be finish issues because of the necessity to secure the windows with substantial screws. I scheduled a consultation, met for 5 hours determine the windows for my home. Placed the order, gave a $25,000 deposit. The said the windows were 4-6 months out on delivery, and it took 3 weeks to get a measure scheduled. The measure arrived and refused to place an order for windows that were going to be modified/added in the home. The policy is that you must have the opening at time of measure even if you are expected to wait 4-6 months for the windows. Essentially this company expected me, the customer to have 9 holes in my home for 4-6 months waiting for windows. We had our General contractor on sight agreeing to ensure the windows would fit the holes he cut when the windows arrived, to prevent us , the customer from having 9 holes in our home for 4-6 months. This policy is to protect the manufacture, not serve the paying customer. Such rigid policies offer poor customer service. We had placed a $75,000 order and cancelled it today due to this companies refusal to help us. read more

We had these guys out to quote replacement windows for our house. We were particularly interested in reducing noise due to excessively barking dogs in the neighborhood. This was during the Black Friday sales, which was 20% off, and is apparently the best deal they do. Relatively early on in the 3 hour quote, I asked for a ballpark price for one of the big windows (after measuring it and talking about what would need to be done for it), which he said was about $2000 before discounts (the window is ~95 inches by 58 inches). When we got the itemized total, this was $5747. That's a very big difference! When discussing this two days later with the salesperson, he apologized and said that when i'd asked for a ballpark cost on this window, while gesturing to it, he thought I was asking about the cost of regular size windows, and quoted me on that. I feel that he wilfully misunderstood me to avoid being asked to leave so early in the quoting process, and that's just dishonest. Other issues: The purchase order was emailed to us immediately, but doesn't contain itemized pricing. Why is this, I wonder? It's not like they didn't have the itemized numbers used to create the final pricing at the time. It was sent to us the next night (our salesperson had had a busy day and this was the first chance he'd had). The purchase order documents you sign say that you've received the warranty details from your sales person. The sales person didn't seem to want to provide this, and made multiple references to "this is my only copy, but you can have it", and that there's another version of the warranty that he didn't have at all. Are they normally this unprepared? What are they hiding? Very odd. Our sales person didn't know what the STC values meant, although, fortunately, he had them listed in his book. Apart from that, he appeared to know the product well. As for the window quality itself, they looked great. If you can get a good deal on them, it might be worth it. They certainly have some questionable and obstructionist sales tactics though, and the long sales pitch plus "today only" discounts are very much designed to make you make a decision right then. We exercised the right to cancel, after seeing the significantly inflated pricing compared to the ballpark estimate. read more

Two people came to my door this last week suddenly after a year or two. I'm sure the people they hire for this marketing are good guys just trying to make honest money by commission, still that is not the point. Hear me out - I WOULD HAVE NEVER GONE WITH THIS COMPANY IF THE OLD MANAGEMENT WAS STILL THERE. To start off, my husband and I live in Colorado Springs, and we wanted to replace three of our double-hung (up-and-down) windows. About one year ago, one of Renewal's appointment setters and his manager came to our door and aggravated my husband so much that we did not want to replace our windows at all. My husband said the trainee was much more polite than his manager! Month after month our seals were getting worse, the drafts were terrible, but we were so DONE with windows people we did not want to invest in new windows. Then about a week ago, an RBA rep came out to our house and surprised my husband so much with his politeness and courtesy that we decided to get an appointment. My husband asked if they had the same manager and the rep said there had been changes in management and now he was much more confident in their current approach. What sold my husband to set the appointment without me, (which at first I was confused by) was how personable the young man was. He not only made a case for Renewal, but also recommended other window brands and contractors. When my husband asked, "Why would you recommend another company," and my husband was shocked at the answer. He said something like, "These problems you are having are only going to get worse, and at this point replacing them with something cheap would still save you more money than keeping them." The fact that he genuinely cared about our interests had us sold, and he left us with coupons that added to 20% of the quote. Now the appointment itself was very useful. We found out that our windows weren't even the biggest problem, it was out sliding glass door that was making the house cold. We got two quotes, 1 for the sliding glass door, and one for the sliding glass door and the three windows, and to be honest, it is a little expensive, but to know that we can hold onto this quote for a year and decide when we want to get them done ensured our confidence with Renewal By Andersen. read more

The windows and doors are wonderful and our installer, Dylan, was professional and a pleasure to have in our home. We did have some issues with "customer service" of having to wait long times before calls were returned and promises made that we had to repeatedly call about to remind them. If you decide to work with Renewal, you will probably need to be a person who stays on top of things and what has and has not been done. I have 21 windows in my house. The rep said it would cost $60,000 to $90,000 to replace them. Oh, and if you need grids in your windows, that's an extra $380 per window. I didn't need to hear more than that. Unlike some other reviews, my rep wasn't rude or insulting I also believe their product is good. But come on! 3 or 4 thousand for one frickin window. The most high pressure sales pitch I have ever received and not even close. Asked for the specs and bid and told them I would think about it...and needed to research....."project consultant" says...I told you all you need to know....and would not leave for another 10 minutes....told him not a window expert and not making a decision to drop $17K on windows based upon his sales pitch and recommendation....finally got him out of the house helped hime with his bags...never received the specs or bid.... Then, did research found out that Anderson 400 series windows are less than half the price, and that Renewal is an overpriced, high pressure franchise/distributor. More importantly, it was violating and offensive to have the project consultant and an assistant (not sure why he was there) putting so much pressure on me....initially I was relieved to get them out the door, then I got pissed when I read info on line ....it was violating to have someone come into your house and put that type of pressure on to buy windows...WTF....it's one thing to buy a used care at the dealer, but in your house..... They came door to door in our neighborhood and I decided to make an appointment because we were starting to get quotes. They required both my husband and I to be there even though it wasn't convenient. The sales rep was on time, but came in with a bad attitude. He looked at a few of our windows and just started talking about how horrible and cheap they were. This went on for about 10 minutes before I asked how much theirs cost. Then it got ugly. See, I'm a woman and my background is Architecture and construction. Apparently, he didn't want to talk to me only my husband. He was very rude and condescending to me and when I told him I did not like the way he was speaking to me, he said he was giving what he was getting. I gave him about 25 more minutes to turn things around, but he never showed samples or told me why their windows were better. He just continued to argue with me about my understanding of construction. I get that windows are expensive, but I"m not going to spend the same as someone with a much nicer home. This became a point he wanted to argue about and eventually said I was wasting his time when I asked how much the windows cost. (I guess cost shouldn't be a concern) I eventually had to ask him to leave after he continued to be rude and sexist to me in my own home. Customer care called to do a survey and I was honest. Just a warning. Before you sign any agreement with Renewal by Andersen, thoroughly read EVERY line of the agreement. Make sure all blanks are filled in. Both my wife and I were REQUIRED to be available for the for the presentation by the sales rep, who was friendly, knowledgeable and respectful. The presentation took much longer than promised, but we were impressed with the quality of the windows and, with winter on the way, we were anxious to get the project done. Having listened to the presentation for well over an hour, we were by this point running late for other commitments, so we hurriedly signed the contract and gave him the required 33% down payment, failing to take note of the "Estimated Starting Date" box in the agreement. This was on September 29. After the presentation and the signing of the agreement and paying the required 33% down payment, he asked us when we wanted the windows installed. We said by the end of October. He laughed and replied, "That will never happen." (So why did he even bother to ask us?!) He said we could not expect to see the project done until about Christmas, maybe early January, after a wait of at least three months or more . Later we reviewed the contract and found the "Estimated Starting Date" was specified as 10 to 12 weeks. (Note, that's the "STARTING" date.) If we had not been so much in a rush and really reviewed the contract, we would not have agreed to this timetable. So as of today, November 28, eight weeks later, here is the status of our project: Andersen has thousands of our dollars. Although I don't have my windows yet, things are not looking good. It took months to find an install day. This was due to my busy travel schedule and my husband working as well. The installation day finally came. Both my husband and I wanted to be home for install. This required taking off work for my husband. After the installation people had arrived, we received a call from someone saying that the installation could not be finished on our installation dates. My husband was told that installation could not be completed in the two days promised as their schedule was busy. - Only 13 of the 16 windows purchased were brought to my home???? - The 13 windows they did bring were not the windows we ordered. They were similar to the windows we already have that break all the time due to us living in a very windy area. My husband and I were ready at 8:00 as we were told. They came shortly after. The installation people did not leave until 12:30 PM. Both my husband and I wasted 4 1/2 hours and didn't have even one correct window installed. We prepare our home when we have workmen com. We put valuables and things that can easily break away. It takes about an hour to do this. It took us another hour to put everything back. Renewal has been holding over $11,000 of our since 2015!!! I now know why they want their money in advance. They can give terrible service, and their customers are stuck!!! On the positive side, the installation crew was as service oriented as could be. Worth every penny - even if it ended up a costing a lot of pretty pennies! :) Greg was the contractor/lead on our project. He came over and gave us an at home presentation. He showed us the quality of the company's windows, explained the homeowner's lifetime guarantee and tax write off, and finally walked us through the installation process. Within a couple days of meeting Greg, two courteous Renewal by Andersen representatives came by to take exact measurements of the windows to be replaced. They were there for less than 20 minutes. We did not hear from anyone from the company for about two and half months after that. Side Note: I know it sound crazy to wait that long. However, I have 2 children, a dog and a husband and family that came to visit throughout the time. Also, we signed up for this right before the holidays so time flew by for us - Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, Valentine's Day, a car accident, appointments, etc! For most people, I understand that two and half months can be nerve-wrecking, cause restlessness and cause anxiety. But Greg, our Contractor, told us we wouldn't hear from them for about 8-12 weeks. So long as it didn't exceed the 12 week mark we were totally fine. To interested customers, the windows are CUSTOM MADE - so it takes time to build customized, quality, lifetime warranty products like this. When we finally heard from the company, it was an automated text message to set a date for installation; I have to say this was pretty unprofessional of them. I would have appreciated an actual phone call. It got pushed back a couple days due to weather (that's February in Colorado for you). Installation day finally arrived and a crew of professional looking contractors looked ready to work. They said it would take two days to complete and they kept their promise. I stayed home with my kids and, hopefully without sounding creeping, I watched them work every once in a while. They were at it! And they were efficient! They took a couple breaks here and there but went back to the grind immediately. On Day 1, they removed the old windows and discarded it for us. They fit in the new windows and sealed them in. That night we could already feel the efficiency of the windows as it kept much more heat in than before on a winter night. On Day 2, they put in the finishing touches. They added window sills, that were not previously there, and they framed the windows; my husband later painted them as they were ready to be either painted or stained. It was craftmanship at it's finest. I was impressed. At the end of day 2, the Project Manager walked me through how to use each window, how to clean it, how to take it apart, etc. He had me test each window that was installed to ensure that it was to my liking. I was instructed to call right away if I noticed anything off or irregular about the window. They left my home in one piece. They did a meticulous job cleaning up after themselves, ensuring that there were no nails or raw pieces of wood that could hurt us. There was no random debris floating in the air. It helped that they didn't use cheap plastic to cover the floors. They had thick, yoga-like-mats, covering every inch of floor they walked on. A week later, I got a follow up phone call. A week after that, I was asked to review their work. They strive for 5 stars and that is exactly what I gave them because it was exactly what they deserve. This company isn't an instant gratifcation - give me cheap vinyl windows - kind of company. They take pride in their product, in their installation process, and in their employees. They spend less time in marketing material and more time making sure that their work is 100% customer satisfaction so that their happy customers can refer them. There is no denying that the cost can be pretty intense. Just remember: You ALWAYS get what you pay for. In our case, we paid for a lifetime of quality windows. They are energy efficient: keeping us warm in the winter and cool in the summer. They are beautiful: framework is gorgeous, we have double paned windows and a screen but we can see our backyard and beyond it so clearly. Finally, I know you are probably wondering how much we paid... it was about $2,500 a window. Needless to say, when we are ready we will get the rest of the windows in our home done by Renewal by Andersen. read more

Had several windows and two patio doors done. Really good job EXCEPT installed a door handle that was too big for our shutters. Upon several contacts they agreed that they would share cost of a replacement. I agreed and after several months and many promises nothing has been done. Not responsive at all. A friend of mine had Renewal by Andersen windows installed a couple years ago. I remember visiting his house and seeing how beautiful the quality of the windows was so I decided to replace two large very old and leaky windows this Fall by the same company. Yes they're expensive but the quality and the craftsmanship is Top Notch so I invested the money and I am so pleased with the beautiful results! And I can't say enough about Craig Brady the gentleman who installed our Windows. He was fast, efficient, professional and a perfectionist. I am very pleased. read more

I can't speak as to other people's experience but Renewal by Anderson has been great. We have replaced 10 windows, three as a result of hail damage, with them. Their installers are second to none, at least the ones they have sent us both times. They worked hard, stayed late, and were very skilled and knowledgeable carpenters. Anderson is expensive no doubt. You can buy cheaper windows at Home Depot but unless you have carpentry experience you are going to rely on whatever contractor Home Depot sends you. Often times, they do not specialize in window installation and may not even by carpenters by trade. I gave 4 stars for two reasons. The lead time is long and there are often gaps in the communication when the windows take longer than expected. It's not the end of the world, but when you pay a deposit up front it can make you a bit nervous. If the estimated delivery date is going to be missed, a preemptive phone call would go a long way. The second reason for not giving 5 stars is we did the 10 windows in two separate installs. The first time went perfectly. The second time, the installers weren't given the full scope of the job that required reducing two of the window openings. They also ran into an unforeseen problem with the previous window leaking that no one knew about. I see this as Anderson's issue in not providing the full scope of the job to their installer, not the fault of the installer who procured additional material and stayed late to get the windows in without asking for any additional money. If you are going to replace windows and are staying in your home 20 years plus, Anderson is a great choice. read more

I would NEVER consider Renewal by Anderson because they too cannot follow the basic rules of posted covenant controlled communities. This is a fatal flaw and they are not to be trusted. My neighborhood clearly states that ALL solicitors must have a letter from our HOA before they are allowed to solicit business. I constantly get guys ringing the door bell telling be that they are putting windows in a neighbor's home. I DON'T CARE!! I did not call you. I also get calls with someone telling me that my husband told them to call.....NO HE DID NOT! Stop lying and be a more responsible and ethical business. read more

The estimator kept pushing how well the windows were. Eventually he finally gave me a price which was 4 times the cost of another estimate I got from a local company. At this point the estimator stopped being respectful and when he walked out he filled my carpet with mud from his footsteps. Definitely will not work with them. read more

The worst customer service, feels like we are stuck in a terrible scam. 17 weeks ago we ordered and paid a $2,000 down payment for a new window and door. Our contract said install between 12-14 weeks...which is long but okay we can survive. It has been 17 weeks, zero communication and we still do NOT HAVE A WINDOW in our house...in the middle of winter (it was broken by a tree in a summer storm). I have emailed our sales rep and called the main office. I have received zero apologies and all they tell me is "well the contract is just an estimate." To order an $8,000 door & window just to be treated like shit. This legitimately feels like a scam at this point. read more

Bud York, Senior Project Manager was the salesman who tried to convince me to buy windows from RbA. The sales technique involves providing a "special discount" if you sign the contract immediately without time to review the contract, which is clearly a high pressure sales technique. Additionally, he lied to me when he told me that the financing option did not involve a "hard credit check," as I had recently shopped for home loans and could not afford to add another hard check to my credit score. I agreed to the soft credit check, only to find out that it is in fact a hard credit check and my credit score dropped 42 points, as a result of the deception by Mr. York.
