Do NOT take your phone there to replace the battery. If it's an Apple, just take your phone to the Apple Store. I bought my son a used phone and it worked for a while, but after an update, the phone wouldn't function with the unsupported battery. My husband took the phone to this establishment, they replaced the battery, it still didn't work, they still charged him. We took the phone to the Apple Store. They kept it overnight and would have charged the same price. When we drove back down to pick it up, they told us that they had to cancel the repair because the third party repair people, AKA Batteries Plus, glued the battery into the phone. They give me a run around about the warranty saying they don't make money off the warranty (then why have battery "warranties") and won't exchange the battery. They had one in stock and had it in my vehicle in no time. They are able to hook up a small battery while they install the new one so no radio presets or any other electronic settings are lost. I took my daughter-in-law's phone in to get a screen replacement. The older man with gray hair told me he couldn't get lavender. I said what does it matter, it just needs a new screen. He said I don't know, I'm not the tech, but you have to get the whole case. I left when I asked what color can you get and he replied "ID HAVE TO CHECK EVERY COLOR TO TELLYOU WHAT I CAN GET!" The next afternoon I called and spoke to a gentleman who actually seemed to know what he was doing. We ordered the screen. Once repaired my son picked up the phone and thought it felt strange in his hand. He got it home and the next morning realized it wouldn't charge. He took the phone back and I get a call asking if he tampered with it. I said I couldn't imagine he would. They ordered new parts and when my son picked it up the guy said you did this my guys wouldn't have done it. My son told him he knows nothing about repairing phones and why would he when he just paid over $200 for you to fix it! I went in in the beginning of September to get my car battery changed the first gentleman who I believe his name is Darrell was amazing. The second gentleman was very very rude to me. I had a whole lot of problems all through the month of September with my battery it finally took Darrell to come and he actually did some thing that my car battery needed. He put shims on the posts and the car is working wonderful now he actually took the time to really help me and he and his other lady associate who I can't remember her name helped at all so it was great to actually have a gentleman who let me watch what was going on with my car we need more people like him. It's really tough to find customer service this good anymore! I went in trying to find a battery for my Samsung Galaxy S5 (ancient these days, I know.) He had plenty in stock, but helped me troubleshoot the issue first because my phone was acting funky. I had bought a battery for my motorcycle the day prior at the Sparks location, smooth transaction, nothing wrong. When installing the battery, I fumbled and misplaced one of the sets of hardware (1 nut and 1 bolt). The store was closed already so I waited until the next morning to inquire if they had extras. I got to the Sparks location, was met by a different gentleman from the day before who had zero customer service the other woman did. She was cordial, this guy couldn't care less about me being there especially since I wasn't trying to buy a battery. I asked how they were doing and was ignored. I asked if they had any extra hardware and before I even finished my question I was told "Nope, none" with a sigh in their voice. "Don't have anything like that here." I was pretty disappointed especially since all my online searches were giving me shipping options for what I needed. I really needed this battery as I use my motorcycle for a daily commute, so this was pressing. Instead of cutting my losses I called the other location in South Reno and without any hesitation, a man named Mike told me to come in and check out any spare sets of hardware cause they had a ton. He gave me an extra set just in case and didn't have me pay anything. He saved me a lot of stress and took away the stress caused by the Sparks location. Had the other guy just suggested I call another spot to ask, or maybe just look in the back for me, things would be different. I have had a Ryobi battery pack rebuilt and one other drill batteries replaced by them and neither one lasted as long as the original. I can get two for the price of one at Amazon and they last longer and have a higher amp hour rating. (stronger) I asked for the best they have and was told we only have the best.
