Let me say that I don't like writing bad reviews, but this company wasted my time which I like to personally be warned abou. I figured I'd post my experience and maybe save someone some time too. I see there are similar experiences so I will add mine too: I texted them describing scope of work to renovate a fireplace (~15k job), they set an appointment. The day before they cancel due to emergency. Rescheduled for one week later. No problem, it happens. 1 week later Shelly comes, she is very nice. Takes lots of measurements on paper and takes lots of photos. We describe materials and size, I feel like she has a good understanding of what to bid on, if anything is maybe a bit green which is fine since it seemed like she took good measurements. As she instructed, I send the inspo photo after the appointment to the Renovation Inc number I had been scheduling with. I told her I was looking forward to their bid. .....Then - Nothing. Radio silent. That was 6 weeks ago. My rule is that if I'm waiting for a bid, and a contractor isn't sending it I don't bug them. I move on. It's usually a bad sign. However after reading these other reviews I'm assuming the 10k in labor was just not worth their time and that they are only looking to do much more expensive and comprehensive jobs. read more

Worst place ever! My husband and I are involved with a large add on addition (on suite) to our home. We like to go to Bootleggers nextdoor for a bite to eat and decided to stop in, as we need to build out our closet. When we walked in the door an older gentleman and a woman were sitting behind the counter and seemed very bothered by us (we could barley even see them) and we were never even greeted. I proceeded to say "hello"? Then we heard a voice and he said can I help you? I informed him, I would like to inquire about some pricing on a closet build. Both of them said "what one" without even getting off their chairs. I said, this one up front here. Still with no movement whatsoever, the woman says "that is the most expensive closet we have". I said ok....can I please get an estimate and or talk with someone? Again, without moving a muscle the gentleman stated "it is $75,000". Seriously? EVEN if I was crazy enough to pay that price, one would think you may want to get up to make a sale. Clearly they judged us and had no interest of helping a potential customer. They NEVER asked us about drawers, the size of closet, what I was looking for, NOTHING! So, how did they come up with that price first of all? I was very insulted and we quickly turned around and walked out the door. My husband and I stopped, looked at each other and said "that was the rudest and weirdest encounter we have ever had"! As a business owner, if any of my staff behaved in that manner to any of our clients they would not be employed. What happened to customer service? No one deserves that treatment. On a lighter note, we ended up going with Closets By Design.I strongly recommend them! We got everything we have ever dreamed of in a closet and did not even come close to $75,000! They came to the house, did a free estimate, measurements and great prices (although it is still expensive) was the best decision we could have made. I would not trust anyone who treats people like this! Horrific experience. I cant imagine they will be around for a long time... Fair warning with these people! We were introduced to this company (Tabitha) from a contractor we were going to hire to do a renovation on a home we just bought. He sent us to Renovation Inc to look at various materials for cabinets, shower, floors & countertops. From the start Tabitha was very unfriendly and acted like we were taking up her precious time. The store hours on the door say they are open on Saturday, but in a conversation with Tabitha, who came off as very snotty, told us that they are wrong and they just started to close on Saturday. Luckily, we had an appointmen but we arrived early thinking we could look around the "showroom" until our appointment time. Once they arrived, we were introduced to the couple. The husband was very nice and friendly. Tabitha was not. She never smiled, never tried to build a rapport with us - didn't seem to care about earning our business. She may be talented in decorating, but she is not talented when it comes to connecting with a customer, making the customer feel that they matter, and that she wanted our business. In today's market, there are a lot of design options. Tabitha really needs to learn the importance of customer interaction and the importance of it. Her interaction told us that she thought was too busy and good for us and didn't want to say or do anything to prove otherwise. In text messages she never said thank you or you're welcome. Honestly, she is the rudest person I've ever seen who owned a business and who supposedly wants to work with people and earn business. We took samples with us, and she told us she was going to meet with the contractor at the house to do measurements. We sent photos of our choices and of course, promised to bring the samples back asap. There was a miscommunication, and she was unwilling to do get the measurements done, even though it was her and the contractor's miscommunication fault. I was having dental surgery trying to accommodate her "busy schedule". With all of this we decided that it was obvious Tabitha did not want our business and the contractor also lost our business because of her lack of customer service and flexibility. Once we "fired them" she kept texting us asking for the samples even though we promised we would return them within 48 hours - which we did. WIth the exception of the husband, the other guy that was there when the samples were dropped off was as unfriendly as Tabitha. Hopefully this review will help her learn that the customer is the basis of a business - not her so-called talent. I would stay away! read more

The Remodel store is a local company that we didn't even know about until we attended a neighborhood fair. They transformed my shower. Georgina and Sam were professional and easy to work with. I didn't feel like they overcharged me. We had some minor issues but we were sure to let them know right away. They were quick to take action to remediate the situation and also didn't hesitate to apologize when necessary. read more

I visited the showroom and liked what I saw, so I scheduled an appointment for an in-home estimate. After receiving two confirmations and clearing my calendar to meet, no one from the company showed up to the appointment. No call, no email, no text, no explanation. Yelpers, if you are looking to remodel your kitchen, I recommend doing business elsewhere. This is a new business that is, apparently, not ready for customers. read more

Completely gutted and remodeled my entire kitchen...it's beautiful now and so, so much more functional than the kitchen I had to utilize in my patio home since moving here in 1992. Georgianna and Sam have been amazing throughout my floor replacement. I had gross carpet and original tile throughout my home, and decided to put in the waterproof LVP flooring. They matched the price that I received from another store, and even beat the demo pricing and other line items on the quote. The floor is amazing, and Rocky, the installer, has been wonderful. I couldn't have asked for a better company to work for, as it has been easier than I thought. Both the owners and installer are very fast to answer the phone and any questions that I had throughout the process. I would never recommend this company (Remodel Store & More and Quality Construction and Design). We just had two bathrooms remodeled by this company. We had quite a frustrating experience, from beginning to end. The company's right hand didn't know what the left hand was doing. Very poor communication between the project manager, Sam, the in-store assistant, Autumn, and the "crew," resulting in us having to make multiple trips to various parts of the Valley to finally get the products needed for the job. The "crew" assigned to our project was one Spanish speaking man and his teenage son. Both were very nice, but it was next to impossible to communicate with the father unless the the son was present (the son was not here on a daily basis). We caught many errors throughout the job, which the "crew" thought were acceptable (wrong size bathtub ordered and installed which resulted in a two inch gap the length of the tub between the new tub and the existing floor tile - the underlying cement floor was showing. We were told we would just have to get more tile to cover the floor. This is not new tile, so that would have been impossible), tub fixture was leaking badly, counter top not secure - wobbly, shower wall tile layed in wrong direction until we pointed it out to the "crew," wrong Schleuter color ordered 4 times, shut off valves in sinks not working, confusion on Sam's part regarding profile for counter top, walls/paint were scraped, grout and thin-set splashed on walls, floor tiles, and carpet and not cleaned up until we pointed it out (we had to clean the carpet), large areas in backyard rocks used for cleaning equipment at end of each day resulting in large white areas of cement - again not cleaned/removed until we had the company back out to take care of it, the "crew" walking into our bedroom from the backyard each morning without knocking (I walked into my bedroom one morning and found the "crew" standing there), etc. The list goes on and on. The mistakes were eventually fixed, but we, the homeowners, were the ones who had to initiate the action. A plumber who worked for the company was called out to fix the plumbing issues (again, not licensed and who had to leave early because he brought his wife who was sitting in our living room). My husband had to fix many of the issues himself. Because of Sam not returning calls to us, we asked to have the other owner, Larry, become the project manager. Things only improved slightly. There was no daily oversight of the "crew" being done by anyone but us - the homeowner. The "crew" were just unlicensed handymen with questionable citizenship (the project manager, Larry, became rather hostile when I asked about this). So, unless you speak Spanish, want a frustrating two weeks, want to oversee the job yourself, like not getting calls returned, are o.k. with sub-par work, and are told "that's just how construction is" when issues are brought to the attention of the project manager (Larry), DO NOT use this company for any bathroom remodel. We will never recommend them to anyone. read more
