Never had an issue they could not fix. I remember going there with my dad in 1951 to get a radiator repaired. I was only 4. It was downtown on 8th and Franklin at that time. DO NOT RECOMEND WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY !! MY CAR WAS THERE 3 WEEKS AND NOT FIXED. I initially brought my car into the shop back in January for an AC issue. It was blowing warm air out of the air vent on the driver side and passenger and rear air weren't as cold either even on AC. They said it was the evaporator so we let them change it that took that took about a week to do. He said if we have any issues to let him know because the evaporator is under warranty . Everything was good until the end of May it started doing the same thing is was doing in January so we call and they said bring it in first thing in the morning and we will get it looked at so we did he said there were a few cars in front of me that was Monday June 2 Wednesday rolls around and still haven't heard anything about what the problem is so we called and he said it was the AC condenser and the Evaporator ( yes the new one) that he would have to order parts and they wouldn't be there until Friday and probably wouldn't get to work on the car again until the following Monday so we picked my car up and then took it back first thing Monday morning June 9th. They changed the evaporator (again) AC compressor and still didn't fix the problem. Then they changed the blend doors as well as the condenser and expansion valve and that still didn't fix the problem so Today July 3rd we picked up my car shelled out more money and my car is still not fixed and on top of all that my cars gas tank was on EMPTY ! They told us we could bring it back in a few days to run some diagnostics on it but I DON'T TRUST THEM OR WHAT THEY SAY read more

A/C went out on my 2013 impala & dropped it off to the guys at Renschler. They quickly diagnosed the issue - it was a bad a/c compressor. They got her blowing nice cold air now! My 1990 motor home broke down on Sunday of this past Memorial Day weekend on the way to Iowa. After a harrowing 35 mile tow in the middle of a rainy night to a garage that said they could fix it, turned out they couldn't fit it in for days. Found these guys just two miles away and was able to drive it over. Slowly! We both knew parts would be an issue but they figured out what was needed, gave me a reasonable estimate, got right on it. 24 hours later they called and said they couldn't find one part, but one of their shop vehicles had the right part and they could pull that off to get me back on the road!! Who does that?!?!?! While on the phone I said that'd be great, and I'm due for a synthetic oil change soon, could they add that on while they have it. I pick it up the next day and they charged me the low end of the original estimate, and included the oil change in that price. Unbelievably great place. I busted my fuel tank on 35 south driving to San Antonio. It was Sunday, and since I drive an Infiniti, most mechanics that were open in the area said they didn't feel comfortable working on my car. So on Monday I got my car towed to Renschler's. I am always worried that car places will overcharge me for everything. I know nothing about cars. When my dad drove up with me in the shop in a new Mercedes, I was even more worried. They told me they would try to have the car fixed the next day, and it would probably be $500-$600. The next day at about 9 am, I got a call telling me my car was fixed and it was only $170. This rarely happens. I was ecstatic. Car shops usually try to charge me more than what was quoted and they take longer than expected to fix everything. I love their honesty. If you ever have car issues in Waco, definitely recommend taking it here! read more

I bought a used car, 16,000 miles, and failed to notice at the dealership that it did not have cruise control. This was 2007. I called the dealership back and asked if they would put cruise control in it. They said that they could not, but things that they cannot do, they take to Renschlers. I took the car there and it took one week, but eleven years later that cruise control still works awesome. They said it was not easy to do. I forgot what I paid, but it was not robbery. I have since taken them my other problems, they were all fixed the first time and did not rob me. I now have another problem that they will be getting. read more

I was in Waco area visiting family and experienced car trouble. My nephew had had previously taken his vehicle for and a/c repair and had been very happy with them. They arranged for a tow, were very prompt in calling me with info regarding what issues they found and when car was ready after giving me an accurate repair time and expense estimate, and offered to pick me up. They were obviously busy, but were able to get my car done so I could get back to Dallas area the next day. I found their rates extremely fair and was really impressed with them overall. So impressed that if I have issues that can wait until I can schedule it when I can get to Waco...I will certainly do that! read more
