When I had my Lincoln MKZ inspected by Christian Brothers Automotive they told me I needed new…read morefront tires as they were worn out I checked back with a company I had used in the past and they told me I would have to drop the car off in the morning after which they would order the tires and it should be ready by six when they close. I called Christian brothers Automotive and they told me to try Tires by Design. I stopped by and they inspected the tires, and told me I would need three tires as one of the rear tires was also worn enough to require changing. They did not have my Michelin tires in stock, but said they could get the tires in the morning, and call me when they received them. They told me it would take only thirty minutes to change out the tires. I checked back the next morning, and the tires were indeed delivered. I pulled in at 12:15 on a Saturday, and they immediately pulled my car into the shop. The tires were changed out and I was back on the road within twenty minutes. I went home and brought my 2005 Suburban back to have the tire sensors changed, and they did that in about twenty minutes as well. The manager and the staff were great to talk with, the service was so fast I barely had time to finish a coffee. It was the best experience I have ever had at a tire store. I heartily recommend you try Tires by Design the next time you need your tires serviced.

When I arrived, the store was already quite busy. I'm not sure how many appointments they schedule per 15-minute window, but there were a lot of customers ahead of me, so the initial wait was longer than expected. That said, several staff members acknowledged the delay, apologized, and assured me I'd be checked in as soon as possible--which I appreciated. After checking in, I decided to drop off my car and run an errand rather than wait, especially since the check-in took longer than anticipated. Interestingly, the actual tire service was completed faster than my wait time, which was a nice surprise. They handled everything as requested: the damaged tire in my trunk was disposed of, and the good tire that was replaced was bagged and placed in my trunk along with my spare. When I returned, the team member who walked me to my car was friendly and mentioned that this is the busiest location in Houston--and that what I experienced was actually considered a slower period--which I found impressive given how busy it already seemed. Overall, they manage the workload well. My only suggestion would be to prioritize scheduled appointments over walk-ins when possible. Otherwise, a solid experience.

I asked what the line for an extra $30 charge was, he admitted it was not necessary it was a warranty that's voluntary and he could take it off. He was very sheepish and seemed like a normal thing to get caught sneaky charging "voluntary" warranties that the customer has no idea about. So he refunded me, but tip to the wise, they "auto" add the $30/tire, ask to see the breakdown of charges before swiping! I'm a chick so take it for what it's worth with car experiences....he also was trying to hard sell me 4 tires, fearmongering that I could have a blow out at any time. They did a great job, and provided quality tires and professional service. At the time of the tire install, they informed me about needing new a lower control arm ball joint. I was already scheduled to take the truck to the dealership on Monday for an oil change, but instead of adding it to the list for the dealership, I entrusted the 610 team to do the job! Fast forward to Monday, oil change went well but the dealership informed me I needed a new ball joint?!?! You can imagine my surprise. I reached out to 610 but initially I told the dealership to proceed. Thankfully, they needed a specific wheel lock in order to remove the tires. That delay allowed me more time for processing all the details. I took an uber to 610 to retrieve the specific wheel lock. They gladly gave me several locks (they weren't quite sure which one was needed). That, to me, is another example of how they're willing to go over and beyond the call of duty. They even gifted me with a wheel lock once the correct lock was identified. The more I examined the imagines sent by the dealership, the more I noticed the pics only showed excessive lube around the joints. Thankfully, bringing the key to them, delayed the process of them conducting the work and allowed me the opportunity to witness for myself the tires being secure and having NO play/free movement. Needless to say, the dealerships assessment was incorrect. The mechanic was very apologetic in his error. New ball joint replacement was NOT needed. All an all, Im extremely pleased with 610's professionalism and attention to details. 610 will forever be my first stop for any of my tire needs. Support local businesses!
