The staff here is remarkably accommodating; they handled my specific requests for tire/wheel placement without hesitation. Most importantly, their inspection sheet clearly indicated that they verified and torqued every lug nut to spec. As someone who usually feels the need to re-check torque after visiting a shop, this was the first time I felt total peace of mind heading home. If you prefer "fancy" workers in suits and overpriced "free" coffee from a dingy old coffee pod machine while getting charged dealership premiums, go elsewhere. We needed a battery and they were able to store the car, for a daily fee, until we could pick it up.

She originally went in because she simply needed a flat tire patched. Instead, after taking the vehicle to VIP Tires, they were unable to remove the tire and ended up breaking a wheel stud and lug nut in the process. They then charged her an additional $435 to replace the stud and lug nut that they damaged themselves, claiming it was a 2.7-hour job at $189 per hour. Charging that much for a stud and lug nut replacement, especially after the damage occurred while they were servicing the vehicle, is completely unreasonable. The entire experience was frustrating, overpriced, and left me questioning the way they treat customers who may not have extensive automotive knowledge. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion and asking for a detailed breakdown of any charges before agreeing to additional work.

However, they…read morewere closing when I picked up the truck, so they did not do a walk around with me on the truck (my mistake too...) When I got in the truck, I noticed that the mileage on the contract was 123 miles below the reading on the odometer, and the gas reading was a quarter tank when the contract said it was at 5/8 tank. I called, but there was no answering machine, and left an email message through Uhaul about all of this in the middle of our move, but was still charged for the additional mileage and $120 for the gas that was never in the tank when I picked it up. People make mistakes, I get it. HERE'S THE KICKER. Davis insisted that I did not know how to read an odometer, told me to take it up with Uhaul, and hung up on me. I've stopped payment on a nearly $400 charge to my card for a rental that should have been approximately $200. I know this is the Uhaul service, and not the auto service, but if it's any indication of how he treats his customers across the board, DO NOT GO HERE.
