We were able to dock our boat in the back of our townhouse. Do not expect a typical "hotel" type of experience. You will need to bring extra towels, paper towels, and toilet paper (depending on the length of your stay and how many people you have with you). There isn't anyone to give you a new key to your door if you lose it so be careful! They have a lock box that you are able to use during the duration of your stay to keep your key in while you are out. Totally came in handy during my stay. Also there isn't a housekeeping service that comes daily. There are a few minor set backs that don't come as standard while staying here, but it does come equipped with dish and dining ware, pots, pants, knives, etc. A very homey type feel. I would definitely come back.

Overpriced for the quality of room too. Not enough silverware in the efficiency units, so bring your own. Awful, we wouldn't stay in this place again if they paid us too. The only nice thing about it is the view and the hammocks in the common area.

Pulling into the lovely 4 bedroom home there was a welcome sign hanging with my name on it! Nice touch. 3 floors with an elevator and large and roomy. If you had friends and family staying, you definitely wouldn't be crowded. I know how it is being around family too long sometimes, lol. You are right on the Gulf of Mexico with beautiful views, amazing sunsets and sunrises (where can you do that!). Very clean and elegant. They have a Tiki hut that lost its liquor license and they had a grill that was closed. They never answered the phones and while the girls were nice it wasn't worth the cost. I asked to be moved to a tent site and I was told I would have to pay for both sites as I needed a boat ramp. Oh and my boat was actually in front of the person next to me's camp site. So when the person on my right needed to access their jet skis they did so in front of my tent area and I had to go onto my campers to the left of me's campsite to get onto my boat. OHHH and the ramp. Well that can surely be extended about 6 ft. Don't bother trying to get in or out in low tide and even in almost high tide we had to have someone help us push our 21 footer off the trailer. I told the desk this and they said the property was sold so who knows what will become.

The staff was friendly and very helpful pointing out places to eat, fish and visit. Showers and bathrooms were clean, marina and beach clean. The water adventure was specifically planned because we couldn't check in before 5 pm.   While unpacking, I had to clean a huge wad of hair out of the bathroom drawer before I could put my personal items in it.  This required two different wipe downs with wet paper towels, which is pretty significant.   Everyone, which was 5 adults, needed showers.  There were no hand towels to be found and only two wash cloths.   The bottom drawer of the dresser in the master bedroom promptly fell off the tracks and was a battle to rectify.   In the kitchen, we had kitchen towels but nothing to wash dishes such as a dish rag or sponge/scrubbie.   One of the spare bedrooms fans made a loud clicking noise so the fan had to be turned off to sleep. We went to use the gym Sunday morning but were unable to get in.  We searched the book provided in the unit for an access code but were unable to find any.  The book indicated it was from 2014 and advised one should use their key for gym use.  The gym door required a code not a key.  Eventually another guest came along and was kind enough to provide us with the code. Late Sunday morning I contacted the management company to make them aware of these issues.  I was advised they don't work on Sundays and therefore would bring items over on Monday.  A ridiculous practice when you don't allow check-in until 5 pm, thus closed to anyone's needs until Monday morning. After making Sunday lunch, we placed dishes in the sink to be washed when we received dishrags only to notice the sink on the left side was dislodged from the counter and hanging down about a 1/2 inch.  I recontacted mgmt to make them aware. Sunday afternoon, we wanted to watch the Indianapolis 500.  The TV's didn't work so that didn't happen.  I recontacted mgmt to make them aware.  We were provided with a variety pack of fixes, none that worked. With no Indy 500, we decided to sit on the master bedroom porch until we noticed an excess of wasps flying around.  As we looked over the railing at the roof line, we saw a nice sized wasps nest.  I recontacted mgmt to make them aware.  I was told they would try to get hold of the exterminator on Monday.  With porch now rendered unusable, we went to the pool. At the pool we learned the entire complex sits under the flight line from the airport next door.  For the remainder of the week we enjoyed halted conversations as we waited for the noise from the planes to dissipate so we could resume our conversations. Mgmt finally agreed to bring over towels Sunday evening.  We still didn't end up with dish rags or a scrubbie.  When I wrote back, mgmt clarified they don't provide a dish rag or scrubbie.  I'm still not sure how they expected us to wash the dishes and I couldn't get a straight answer. On Monday, we come to the realization they are doing major work to replace the retaining walls around the docks.  None of this was disclosed at the time of rental.  The jack hammering was super relaxing as we sat by the pool and waited for the planes to fly over. The exterminator finally showed up on Tuesday to take care of the wasp nest.  After spraying it, he knocked it down to the ground.  There is sat outside our lower porch where we were able to walk past it each time we went to and from the pool so we were reminded of their cruel demise. On Wednesday we were told the vendor that would fix the fan would be there Thursday morning.  He showed up on Friday, removed the fan, and advised he would have to come back Saturday...the day we were checking out.  For our last night there, my friends that stayed in that room were able to enjoy the view of the lonely wires hanging from the barren ceiling. I went on vacation to relax, which for me means detaching from my cell phone as I spend a lot of time on it for work.  Unfortunately, I wasn't able to do that as I had to keep texting with management in an effort to resolve the endless issues at the condo.  There was in excess of 25 texts. It became clear the management company was substandard and we gave up on making any further complaints recognizing nothing would come of it.  You can only have plastic at the pool but there was only a handful of plastic glasses in the cupboard.  One had so many cracks in the plastic the liquids leaked out the bottom.  Unknown if it was intentional or not but the owner's closet was left unlocked.  There we found a broom and vacuum.  Of course there wasn't a dustpan to go with the broom. There were four lovely chairs on the back deck...plus one token camp chair.  It's unclear if that was left because there were five of us or random.  It was dirty and falling apart.  It screamed, sit in me so the world can laugh at you when the bottom falls out.
