Effects include reoccurring mold, constant fungus gnats, and structural decay in the flooring and framing. The estimates for repair are expensive, so only cosmetic repairs were ever performed. All of the issues in the unit and building continue to exist and will likely be sold to prospective renters without disclosure. Everything is available as LA County Dept. Public Health or Burbank Code Enforcement public record. While the company owner failed to maintain the implied warranty of habitability, he did raise rent by $300, introduce a $35 fee for online transactions, charge for estimated water usage, add chargebacks for repairs and ultimately evict me from the property. The property. 3610 W. Chandler Blvd. Unit #A, remains in a state of uninhabitability currently. The company presents itself as corporate professionalism, but it's just a sole-proprietor with a high-turnover staff that's incompetent on its best day. The conditions pictured still exist.
