We like coming here because it's the cheapest ice skating rank in the area…read more It's best come come in the weekdays; weekends and holidays can be super crowded with the line to buy tickets/ check in out the door So we went for the first time ever a few weeks ago, rented 2 walkers. We put our kids skates in, turned around and one walker was gone we went to the front desk and they said it was our responsibility to look after it and if someone took it there's nothing they can do and we would have to pay to get another one It sounds naive but wish they would have given disclosure of that... also didn't think someone would just "steal" it

I'm not going to lie, I was kinda iffy on this place because of the reviews, so I set my expectation low. I submitted a party inquiry on their website, the price was pretty reasonable. After submitting the form, a party coordinator should contact you. I was anxious and called the facility because it was days after the online submittals. After that, she contacted me to confirm and make a payment. One part that she fell short on was saying that they would email me a few days prior to the event but the email never came, so not sure what it entails. There's two set price, $395 or $300. The room maximum is only 25 capacity. The price comes with 15 or 20 wristbands for ice skaters, depending on which rooms you choose. You let them know what color table cloth and 6 balloons you would like, it also comes with 24 bottles of water and goodie bags. You can buy more balloons, if you like. They sure make it super easy on parents. They only allow you to come 15 minutes early to set up, which isn't a lot of time. You just have to make sure that everyone arrive on time, as you only an hour to have the room to eat which doesn't seem like enough time and would feel rushed. If I could request a change, I would suggest that they let you have the room for the full 2.5 hrs. For example, 30 mins to set up, 2 full hrs for the room which could be used to eat, mingle, cake cutting and for cleaning up. Overall, it was a successful. The front staff was very kind and nice. Thank you for making it memorable for my daughter.

To…read morebe honest, there aren't a ton of indoor options for kids' birthdays on the Eastside, so after looking around, we decided on Arena Sports because it seemed to check all the boxes--video games, physical activities, a party host, food, and even escape rooms. We went with the Inflatable FunZone + Field Games package. The website describes it as "a mix of Field Games--think dodgeball, soccer, kickball, and more--then jump into fun and pure joy in our Inflatable FunZone." We also added the Arcade Cash Bundle (20 - $10 arcade cards for $160). The ability to bring in outside snacks (as long as they weren't on the Arena menu) was a huge plus since most of our attending families eat halal. That flexibility really helped us round out the food options beyond just the cheese pizza. Overall, the experience was great--the kids had fun, everything ran on time, and the staff was friendly. A few areas of improvement, though: Credit card fee transparency: I didn't know there was a credit card fee until checkout. It's about 2.9%, which adds up when you're spending 100s of dollars. Had I known, I would've just brought cash. Missing birthday jerseys: The website mentions "Custom Birthday Jerseys with your child's name and favorite number," but we never received those. Party host involvement: The site also says a "dedicated party host handles set-up, clean-up, and leads activities." Ours was polite and helpful overall, but my wife mentioned that during the field games portion, parents had to make up their own activities. It would be great if hosts were more prepared with structured games or a plan. Mind you, I don't blame the host here. I think this a management issue. Arcade game cards: Don't get the $10 cards--it's a complete rip-off. They lasted about 10 minutes before the credits were gone. Arena Sports should really consider a different pricing model for those who are already there for a birthday party. When people are spending that kind of money on a party, you want guests to walk out feeling like they got their money's worth. In this case, it felt like a poor value. Honestly, I would have been out a bit more money but my guests would've been more satisfied if I had gone with the 30-minute card option instead. My advice: either go with the timed cards or skip the arcade add-on entirely. Lastly, I stayed near the entrance since there was no one directing guests as they arrived--something small but important, especially when hosting multiple families. Because when we first arrived, someone was there at the door checking people in. But they disappeared, and the party for around the corner, 200 ft away. So I just stayed behind. At the end of the day, Arena Sports of Issaquah is a solid option for a kids' birthday, especially given the limited indoor choices in the area. The kids had a blast, and the experience was overall positive. With a few adjustments--more transparent fees, consistent delivery on what's advertised, and better value on arcade pricing--they could easily turn a good experience into an amazing one. EDIT (11/23): While I want to disregard what I said above, they did reach out after seeing my review and made everything right. That's a company I can get behind. So I'm adjusting my review from 3 to 4 stars. I went back again last night, and the kids had a great time. I do want to note two things: (1) I want to thank Molia for helping get things straightened out last, and Stella for all the assistance she's provided, (2) I still think an active owner is missing from this establishment. I don't want to bash them, but it seems like this place needs some backup.

I've always lived south of the city and found that the best ride was to take the sounder. You can literally get offered across the road and walk the stadium. I've been fortunate enough to sit in many different sweets and areas in the ballpark. When I get the cheap tickets, it's fun to just walk around and experience. Everything that the ballpark has. The baseball bat chandelier is one of my favorites. Took my son to the All-Star suite for his birthday one year and it was great. Unlimited ballpark food and even seating just outside this suite. The attending staff was great. My son caught a baseball during batting practice and they went and got a pocket sized card to authenticated. The usher also took us down to see the ABS. Are most memorable moments have come when we have managed to get diamond club seats. That is the most incredible experience you can have at T-Mobile Park. The dining is first class and the seats are close enough that you can hear the players talking in the on deck circle. My son got such a kick out of ordering food all throughout the game and being so close to the action. If you get a chance to attend a game here, you won't regret it

The first issue I had was the phones kept ringing like no one wanted to answer them. Then they complained when they had to answer them. I set up multiple appts to get into a consular only to show up and the person wasn't there. Or because I was a mid 30 yr old at the time requested to leave because they thought I was out of place. After multiple attempts I finally got thru to the consular. They began to belittle my choices of technical degrees and started pushing them like it was a business. I'm sorry but since when do you have say in what I can and can not take? That would be their college pushing classes like a business instead of what the student wants to take. I had tons of credits from a couple other colleges and they said none of them would transfer in and I'd have to start fresh. Another money gimmick grab by the college. I had a clutter fuck mess issue when trying to take the placement test for english/math. I wondered over paid and came over to the testing center and I had set up an appt with them. The rep had belittled me and challenged me for even being there and complained about it. Twice I had to wonder back to the consular to inform them of the issue and he had to come over and yell at her to let me take it. That was another red flag. I had completed thru lvl 250 at bellevue college and their test was so poorly constructed that they said I would need remedial classes because they were not sure. Okay that's a red flag. I completed thru 98 (at the time) for math at bc and they said I'd have to start in remedial classes. I know I scored high on their test but something was fishy about it when they tried to place me in remedial classes. Yea that boosts my confidence as a could be student. As I tried to become an active student by the third red flag issue I decided to go to bellevue college. The rep said I needed to collect a ton of paper work so I did and came back. I repeatedly got requested to leave because my age deemed me "Out of place" and after the second time I told them look I'm trying to apply if you people do not want me here I shall not attend. You lost a could of been student that day. Over the years I have taken certificate classes/courses and never had this much of an issue with their college. But this was also back when it was a technical school not a college. When rtc became a college that's when it all changed into a clutter f* mess. Do not attend here. I price compared with bc and bc is about 30% cheaper than rtc. Don't believe me? Do the math. Parking is a bit of an issue with the campus. There's never enough parking and when I did my technical classes earlier in life parking was always full. I had to neighborhood park at your own risk and walk over or park at far end of camapus and walk over to the class area.
