Convenient location at The Landing with food and shopping in every direction so my family frequents this theater. We came in on a Saturday evening for Elio which had come out over a month prior so we expected the theater to be empty. You purchase tickets at a kiosk inside but I had a gift card so one of the front desk workers had to assist since the kiosk didn't take my gift card at first. Theater was a smaller one, only two rows of seats in the back before the floor seats but theater was clean and chairs were comfortable. We enjoyed the movie and will be back. read more

Regal The Landing & RPX Movie Theater in Renton, WA came to the rescue, as they offered the movie 3D RPX! Woo-Hoo! What a fun experience! Grand Entrance: Love the blazing fireplace before you walk in! It's exciting to see the theater all lit up & the cool topiary, which reminds me of Dr. Seuss, so pretty! The theater truly stands out amongst the stores, boutiques, restaurants, as well as popular name brand stores nearby! (Target, Ross...!) Feel The Glow/ 3D RPX: Seeing the movie w/our glasses on in 3D RPX was fun! The movie was vibrant, felt as we were part of the movie & the surround sound was fantastic! The movie was absolutely amazing. Knowing that my husband really wanted to see it opening night was difficult because tix were close to sold out everywhere. The Renton Landing use to be the only place we would go, but have since switched to a competitor.... My only suggestion to Regal is, to have a more comfortable seats and to spread them out a bit. I know some of the theaters have recliners but not a lot of options. read more

My wife felt faint during a bathroom break in the middle of a movie--she had to lie down in the hallway and felt dizzy and nauseous. The staff, including Kara and a few other folks whose names I didn't catch, took care of her, got her water, and came to find me. Her health improved, but she wasn't up for the rest of the movie so we left early. When we left, the staff gave us passes for another show. The Landing Stadium is located right in the middle of the action at the Landing. Location could not be better. Across from it you have Papaya (Vietnamese), Five Guys Burgers, a Thai restaurant, and half a block from there the Rock Pizza and also a wine bar. The price during prime time for tickets are about $10.50 and if you do matinees you are looking at about $6.50. The carpets are free of debris, the restrooms are fairly clean and are equipped with my favorite hand dryer, the xcelator (sp?). The powerful blast of hot air from this neat blower creates wrinkles in your skin as it wisks away the water residue from your hands. The seats are very comfortable and if you are not careful you can fall asleep! Convenient, clean, and comfortable describes my usual movie experience here. read more

Such a pretty theatre! The front of it I mean... the lights, the landscaping the big fire pit in the courtyard out in front. It's just pretty and definitely a place I could see hanging out at before a movie. This Regal Cinema is located at the Renton Landing so there's lots to do nearby in the way of shopping and food options. Parking is easy, abundant and free with both open lots and a parking garage nearby. Inside the theatre is another story... the counter and decor is pretty much the same as most Regal Cinemas in the area. But what I didn't care for was the cleanliness. We saw employees vacuuming and sweeping, so that was fine. But everything just seemed to have a sticky film on it like it hadn't been wiped down in weeks, maybe months. The concessions counter, the theatre seats (we were in theatre #3,) the plastic armrests, even the bathroom... so much yucko. Not sure what's different here from other theaters in the area - but I was just so happy to go and wash my hands and use a clean restroom once we left. The rest of our movie going experience has been fine there and pretty standard of the Regal Cinemas in the area. They except Movie Pass and have a good variety of concession options. Little to no lines and what lines there are move quickly and efficiently. The staff are friendly and courteous and seem to do their jobs well. All and all it's a good experience going to movies here- just wish the counters and chairs were a little cleaner. read more

He was very rude and seemed pretty annoyed that I was asking him to do his actual job and he was very condescending. For those that are considering RPX format, I did not find it to be any better than a standard screening. I've only attended an RPX movie at this location. The seats are pretty narrow, and the sound was way too loud to the point where it was very uncomfortable. The visuals also seemed the same quality as a standard movie. That being said, the theatre as a whole doesn't seem too bad, and you can still have a decent experience. I just wouldn't recommend paying the extra money to see in RPX. read more

Great place for a date night or a family fun night. The location is very convenient for us and it's exactly what you would expect from your typical neighborhood movie theater. There's many places to choose from to eat dinner before the movie. I love Vino's nearby and it's a great places to have a glass of wine after the movie :-) . I am very disturbed that this company has added all these beverage items in plastic bottles at the concession stand and there are ZERO recycling bins! This planet is in an environmental crisis, locally our sea life in the pudget sound are dying, whales are dying here because of our pollution and this company has the audacity to provide these products without providing appropriate recycling receptacles? SHAME ON YOU REGAL!!! I will not be coming back and I will be reaching out to the state government because I'm sure this problem is bigger than this location, to propose that businesses offering bottled or canned beverages to be consumed on the premises from which they are purchased are legally REQUIRED to offer plenty of recycling receptacles. Really, this is just gross irresponsibility and it will change. And no, it wasn't "a different location" it was The Landing. So if there are indeed recycling bins there, it's because they just put them in. In which case that's awesome. I haven't been back to confirm nor deny that. read more

I've recently had surgery and used a disabled seat for the first time. Such a disappointing experience because of the seating. Suggestions: Make seats so they stay down when the person is trying to sit. Provide some type of small table to sit snacks on while they're trying to sit down. I purchased some food which promptly dumped onto the floor as I was trying to sit down. Total waste of money and VERY frustrating. Not a pleasant experience at all. This is the closest theater to our home and every time it's the same story. There are always 2 people working concessions, which sometimes moves quickly and sometimes doesn't. The bathrooms are always gross, whether it's toilet paper on the ground, soap everywhere, or hair in the sink (ew). The employees are nice and patient, and the popcorn is yummy. We'll keep coming back but a few small things could it make much more enjoyable. read more

And depending on the time one picks to watch a movie, there's plenty to do before and after the showing within walking distance. Definitely a great theater to enjoy a good movie such as John Wick 3. It is what it is, a Regal chain multiplex theatre, easy access, plenty of covered parking, great location @ Landing shopping center next to Boeing and I-405 in Renton, a couple of good restaurants and several mediocre ones within walking distance. The place is always crowded, lobby and bathrooms could be cleaner. 3 stars for location, movie selection, and comfortable stadium seating including a reasonable number of Handicap accessible seating, otherwise I prefer large screen movie theatres, where the experience is much richer. Nice, newer theater. Clean and staff was nice. Their Fandango/Self-Servce ticket machine actually worked.... The prices for a 3D Matinee were pretty atrocious ($39 for 1 adult and 2 kids for Cars 2) but it's that much at all theatres - I get super spoiled by the Dollar Cinema where 3D is only $4. It was a good centrally located theater to meet friends at. Won't go out of my way to come back but it was nice and served it's purpose. read more

This place gets super busy and can be hectic to get through the door. We had one experience of being put into a wait line for our movie. Problem was, it was the wrong line and by the time we got into the correct room we ended up on the front row. It if wasn't for my kids birthday we would have asked to come to another showing. We waited in line for Christmas morning and had our tickets from Fandango. The staff open it up and there are no lanes, so it's a free for all and people who were waiting an hour are not first to be served. It was crazy and they should have come out to put people with tickets in another line. The outside ticket machines do not work unless they are open. Once inside they scan your pre bought ticket. Great, but it is not clear if you go get food do you have to go through the line again to get back to the theater?? This place needs some organization or posted signs about this stuff. We opted to not get snacks rather than risk having to go back through the line. Seats are ok. Large fake leather that rock. The RPX sound is good, but didn't wow me. They are like an army after a movie ready to come in to clean, so get out...they bring a large crew! We enjoy our movies here, but this place does have some quirks. read more

What's there to say that we all don't already know? It's a movie theater, it shows movies, and has concessions. What I particularly like about here is that the fountain soda is just that and not the new machine where you choose over 100 drinks but they all taste like crap. I gave it four stars just because the rewards program is not as rewarding as the AMC one. I also like the front seats have rails across the whole row. Nice for relaxing. read more

My husband and I have come here twice since we moved to Renton. It's close to our house even though there are a couple other theaters around but we really like this one so far. I'm not sure if all theaters are as expensive as this one but it's more for a ticket than back home. We also asked for military or student discount but they don't have either. The staff are nice and it's usually not crowed at all when we've gone to see the evening shows. You can pretty much score an entire row to yourself. The theaters are small inside but it's not bad since there's hardly anyone in there. It's also really clean that way. I noticed they have a small party room as well. Good for kids who want to have a really cool birthday party! Oh, did I also mention the seats recline? AWESOME! I've never been to a movie that had such a comfortable chair. read more

With I-Pix-level cinemas serving nouveau short order food and libations, it is hard to give more than 3-Stars to a theater that does not. This theater should be reprented clearly as better than average as, it is. The appearance, operation, and experiance is indicitive of good management who understands the theater aura and sucessfullly cultivated it. This is not an average theater, it is just the scale has been shifted so much within the last 5 years. Yes, if you are over 22, don't eat anything there. Can't say that I would recommend drinking much either. But in truth, I have done little to explore the Corn Dog Bites and Smoothies as a legit food and drink offering. I would recommend at least putting coffee bar and upscale cupcakes to give me even a slightest interest in the concessions. read more

Nice, nice! I mean come on, it's spankin' new, looks great, awesome high-speed hand dryers, and plush seats. There tends to be a spread out young crowd hanging around late, but nothing really ruckus, really. Pretty at night. Unlike the rest of the theaters out there, because this is incorporated in a development, drivers gotta park it and walk a short distance. That's no biggie right? The arenas are great, notably the seats. However, I would like to point out a critical design flaw in the chairs (IMHO). Because it was practically packed ('went to see Love Happens - the creators must really like Seattle, btw!), people were sitting up front... you know the seats that make you up-close-and-personal with the screen? I wish they made the seats tilt backwards the closer those seats got. I.e., I was a few rows from the front, and found myself constantly tilting my head upwards to look at it squarely. It might just be me, but I kinda felt sorry for the folks up front. If you experience this like me, come early or come when it's not full, to avoid the front. Nice place overall. read more

The Landing's Regal Cinemas is one of the showcase places at The Landing. It's nice, new, clean, and well kept. The self service ticket kiosks some times are out of order, but usually one will be working. Some of the theaters are quite small and there has been a time or two I have gone there and had to get a rain check ticket because there simply wasn't enough room. It seems to be the case any time a popular movie is followed by a popular movie followed by another popular movie. The first popular movie gets relegated to the cinema's smallest theater despite not going through its run. I almost wish there was a discount for the small dinky theaters. The sound quality is excellent, and the chairs are comfortable. I haven't interacted with the staff much, but when I have - like when I have gotten a raincheck ticket - they have been professional and courteous. It's a good theater, and the best in the Renton area. read more

Caught a movie here this weekend. It's our usual go to place to see one locally. Lines are usually short and if it's cold outside you can buy your tickets inside at the customer service desk. We always get some popcorn as it's a must. They have quite a few food options but we usually hit up a restaurant next-door before hand and feel like popcorn is enough. New feature at this movie location is to pick your seats when you purchase your tickets. Nice thing about that is you can pre-buy your tickets and not have to stand in line a long time to get a great seat on a movie premiere night! Customer service is always so-so. Never over the top but consistently ok. read more

There seem to always be babies and small children at this theater. It doesn't seem to matter how late the movie starts, someone is bound to roll in with a crying or talking child. One time at an R rated movie, a family came in late (the movie started at 8:30), and a two year old sat right next to me and started talking to her dad through the previews and into the start of the movie. I asked her dad if she was going to talk through the movie and he stood up and threatened to fight me on the spot. The theater of course is happy to refund your ticket purchase or give you vouchers since they've already made their profit on concessions. Stay away from this place! read more

I guess you really shouldn't expect much out of cinema food (although they would make a killing if they actually put some effort into it), but all of our of our food was inedible. Chicken strips were cold even though we waited 15 minutes for them. Cinnamon buns were also cold in the middle and wrapped in plastic. Popcorn... had a hair in it. On top of all that, we went to see Black Panther 3D and were told we didn't need 3D glasses by the ticket taker... We did in fact need glasses. This movie theater is cool with reclining seats. depending on the room your in, you could end up in a really small one that screen doesn't seem as big and the volume isn't as intense as a movie should be. We were watching Bumblebee which is an action movie, so to have the volume seem unusually low was kind of odd. We also had to deal with hearing a crying baby throughout the entire movie. I'm sorry but there should definitely be an age limit when it comes to bringing infants to the movies. It ruins the experience for everyone! All you could see throughout the LONG movie, was the constant turning of heads, as they looked in the direction of the cries (just horrible).... read more

The RPX theater is one of the nicest theaters in town and at least on par to the AMC IMAXs around town. Great picture, and sound, the seats are comfy as well with stadium rake and enough leg room. The free parking garage is incredibly convenient. The cashiers are also very nice. read more
