Everything was going great until it wasn't . I told the owner that I did not want a lot taken off , just a tiny part (clean up if you will) . Okay great, she hands me a mirror to get my approval and I point to a small section above my brow to have just a tiny bit more removed. You know that beginning part of your eyebrow? Yeah, that's the part she removed and not the section I was pointing to. Now, my eyebrows are uneven with the right one being much thinner than the left. Ever been so upset you couldn't speak? Yeah, that's me right now. All I could do was pay and leave. Nope can't leave yet, she still has my credit card while ready to start working on the next person. "May I have my card back please?" "Excuse me?" " My credit card, you still have it. May I please have it back?" As you may have already guessed, I will not be returning. I'm so upset I didn't find Renu when I first moved to Gilbert a year ago. I have tried almost every other threading salon in the neighboring areas and while everyone has been nice and the salons are all clean and beautiful-- their skills do not match Renu's. She's so sweet and has the most gentle hands ever. For threading standards, it did not hurt at all. Probably my least painful experience (and I get my lip threaded which is probably the most painful!). Also, she asked me what shape my goal was for my eyebrows. I had my eyebrows threaded by her and had a facial as well! She's honestly the sweetest woman and was very attentive. Being an introvert, I enjoyed the silence and efficiency of the facial. She gave me recommendations for how to take care of my skin after leaving and was not pushy about having repeat sessions (which I've heard that a lot do). My skin has shown improvements over the last couple of days and I'm so grateful! When it comes to eyebrow threading, this woman has some magical hands and skills! UPDATE: Came here for a facial and was sorely disappointed. Will continue visiting for threading services but nothing more. During the facial, she was kneading my face like she was preparing to make chapatis. It was very rough and uncomfortable. The gentle skill required for a good relaxing facial was simply absent. She also had long fingernails that were scratching my face every time she applied products during the facial. The technique used to apply product on my face was the same technique one would use to apply spackle to dry wall. Overall, very unpleasant experience. 2 stars because I can tell she tried her best and, I liked the products used. Skill set to provide a comfortable experience was just absent. This was my first time getting my brows threaded, so I was pretty picky but the other great reviews made this place seem like the smart choice. Have to say, I was blown away by the quality of my brow threading! It was quick, they were well-shaped (I had been growing my brows back new) and the process was not very painful. A lot of people warned me about the pain of threading, but this was about the same as waxing, if not less painful. As someone with fresh brows to work with, the shape I wanted was 100% taken into consideration and my opinion was always confirmed before continuing on my brows. My wait time was very short (I didn't make an appointment, just walked in). Overall, great experience and would definitely recommend, especially for eyebrow threading! read more

So so so happy with my experience here! I moved here from Los Angeles a year ago & I've been trying to find someone who could do justice to my eyebrows like my lady in LA would since I obviously can't go fly/drive there every time I need them done. I called as soon they opened Sunday morning and had an appointment set up the same afternoon. I decided to purchase the full face hair removal package. I wanted to get rid of those little fine hairs that are mostly visible in the sunlight and the more stubborn ones that I am constantly plucking from my chin. I told Renu, I was going to be in a wedding this week and was worried about the wax. My skin can be sensitive and I didn't want to risk getting any bumps. She was very accommodating. She waxed my chin and neck then threaded the rest including my eyebrows. She was quick and gentle. It took maybe 15 mins. I was very happy with the results.My skin is super soft and bump free. To be honest I have only had one other facial in my life and I was hesitant to even try just anywhere to get a facial especially since I've always struggled with a bit of acne. Ive gotten my eyebrows threaded a ton of times. When I get waxed, I always get a bunch of pimple like bumps, a ton of irritation, and it never looks like a clean line. Threading is usually a lot more painful then waxing, but it was less painful this time. It was kind of difficult to find the location, because my GPS said it was on the other side of the road. The curb appeal of the location is lacking but don't judge a book by its cover! Renu is GREAT!! I am usually really red for at least three hours after, but my skin around my eyebrows were like normal after an hour. Most of the time there are stray hairs I have to get, but I had a nice clean line, with no stray hairs. This was by far the best eyebrow threading experience I have ever had!! Next time I need my eyebrows done, I wouldn't choose anywhere else! I would suggest Renu to anyone who asks me a good place to get threading. I am looking forward to trying the other skin care treatments she has available! read more

Renu seems very thorough. I went there to try threading and it really wasn't bad! It hurt a little at times but in my opinion waxing is way worse! It was reasonably priced and pretty fast. The redness and irritation was almost non-existent, unlike waxing. I would definitely recommend coming here. I recommend you call first: although she did not set up an appointment for me, she took me in as soon as she saw me waiting because I had called earlier in the day about her availability.
