Purchased six new Pella double pane thermal windows. Very nice windows and everything was fine up until installation. Installers move one window in to far leaving me unable to rehang our vertical blinds, can't even hang the new blinds we ordered until the window head, stool and jambs are built out which won't be cheap. The installers also use a dull circular saw to cut out the old aluminum frame damaging the window tiles in the master bathroom. Better quality blade with 60-80 teeth or reciprocating saw would have avoided the damage. The icing on the cake was how our newly completed landscaping was left damaged and full of debris. Glass and screws were also found in the driveway after the install team left. Bottom line, great windows but horrible training for installers. It took a little more than a day and half days to install six windows, normally thats ten or more windows. The field manager could care less about our complaints When we mentioned the tile he said not their responsibility. Next day he wouldn't return our calls

We are in the market for a new roof and have been gathering information and quotes from various companies. Contacted FHIA to schedule an evaluation and quote. First appointment was scheduled for Thursday, April 18 at 6:00. At 6:30, no one had arrived and I called to check the status of the worker. I was told that my appointment was canceled for unclear reasons, the representative profusely apologized and asked if we could reschedule. Okay, no problem, set up another appointment for Tuesday, April 22 at the same time - and once again no one showed up, this time they told me car trouble. If this company can't even keep an initial appointment (after a second chance), I can't imagine how they could handle a roof replacement! Best to look elsewhere.

Terrible communication. Just didn't show up. Too many other remodel businesses to waste time with these guys.

What areas do they service? Are they just in south Florida or across the state?

I believe that they are local to Florida. You may want to call and ask them.

How good I their impact window and how good is their installation.?

The actual windows seem to be very high quality. BUT....everything else about the company just sucks. Absolutely NO customer service, sloppy installation. My windows were installed at the beginning of June and they STILL aren’t finished. Doesn’t… Read more

Long version: We had a very disappointing experience with Broward Impact Window & Door. We worked with them to purchase all the windows and doors for a house renovation. During the purchasing process, we worked with Madeline to place the order. We initially communicated by text, which I prefer because it helps avoid misunderstandings and provides a written record. However, she insisted that we review and confirm everything by phone instead. During two separate phone calls, she asked whether we wanted the entrance door to be frosted. Both times, I said no, as the property does not face the street. When the order was delivered, the entrance door was frosted. I immediately reached out to them, but Madeline denied that any mistake had been made. She escalated the issue to her manager, who maintained that the error was ours because the order paperwork - that was sent to us to review - had an acronym indicating a frosted door. We ordered 16 different items, each described with many acronyms that, as a consumer, are difficult to interpret. This is precisely why we relied on their expertise to ensure the written order accurately reflected what was discussed verbally. The owner made no effort to offer a reasonable solution and instead focused solely on assigning blame. When my wife tried to find a solution and asked whether they could fix the issue, the owner told us over the phone it could be corrected for an estimated $200-$300, at our expense. We agreed to that. However, the invoice we later received was over $850, which no longer made sense given the cost of the door. While the issue itself was relatively small, the way it was handled was unacceptable. I would absolutely not work with this company again, and based on this experience, I would not recommend working with them.

Replacement of 20 windows/door with impact rated…read more Overall satisfaction: 3/5 While I'm pleased with the installation and the product itself, some issues impacted my satisfaction. Delivery and logistics: 2/5 Some materials arrived late and incorrect, delaying the commissioning. There was a lack of ownership from Locktight to follow up on the delivery process. Despite multiple visits for measurements, the main door arrived with the wrong opening range direction, and one of the largest windows was installed two months after the first installation. A truck with a 12-foot container of 20 windows arrived on Friday to offload when the installation was planned for Monday, but there was no space to store the materials, and they had to be held. I could not get a clear idea of the status of the non-received materials until two months after the installation, preventing from scheduling the final inspection, and that resulted into a violation notice by the community. On-site project management: 4.5/5 The execution went smoothly, with nearly 20 windows and doors replaced within three days. The workers made efforts to cover everything surrounding the area to protect from dust, although major cleaning was still necessary afterward. At least one person could speak English and communicate efficiently, and the on-site workers were polite and respectful. Product quality: 4/5 The materials come from Colombia, and so far, there have been no concerns. However, the latches have an uncommon arrangement, especially the casement window type, which is difficult to open. Customer service: 2.5/5 While I was able to reach customer service easily every time I called, I did not receive specific answers about the back orders for several weeks. When I asked to escalate the issue to the managers, I did not receive an immediate response or follow-up until days after the request. Cost: 3/5 among the three quotes I collected for the job Locktight cost was the one in the middle. Note: Locktight will claim to handle all the paperwork for HOA permit, but many associations do not allow third parties to work directly with them, which was my case, and resulted into administrative efforts.

The online reviews except for 4 or 5 bad reviews were mostly impressive too, because of which I decided to go with this company for insulation of my impact doors and windows. But based on my experience I now strongly believe that the 4 or 5 bad reviews were the only real ones and the rest were fake and made up by their own people. I really regret my decision of selecting this company and realize that this was one of the biggest mistakes of my life. When I went to the city to file a complaint they told me that they are receiving multiple similar complaints about "Lock tight". I signed a contract on November 16th 2025 during which Mr. Isidoro Lopez promised me that the work will be completed in 10 to12 weeks & not 180 days as mentioned in the contract. He also told me that the payment will be obtained from my loan company only once the job is completed which was a big lie because they obtained the full payment within a few days of starting the job which forces me to think that this was a trap and a deal between the loan company and Locktight. 100% financing offer is a big scam and a trap. Please don't fall for it. They started working on my house on March 4th 2026, took down all my doors and windows. After doing just the basic door and window insulation they basically abandoned the job. They left my house in a big mess inside and outside. They left the shims around the doors on which made me fail the inspection. Most of the old frames, glasses and other debris were left in my front yard. They did not install the screens for the sliding doors and they left most of the work unfinished. Not only that, when they were installing everything they had promised that all the furniture and the other stuff in the rooms would be covered and protected from dust & dirt, but nothing was done properly. The coverings that they did were just namesake & so the dust was flying all over inside the house which created a big mess throughout my rooms & furniture. They did not do the cleanup or protect the rest of our house from the dust as it was mentioned in the contract. The workers were not skillful at all which is very clear from the quality of the work they have done. There are gaps under my front door and sliding doors big enough for mice and lizards to get inside & the gaps were not sealed properly because of which dirt and dust enters the house and water enters easily when it rains outside. After multiple attempts, one day they sent a guy who came to my house & tried to fix the gaps under the doors and windows using a piece of tape like strips of felt-like material which was of no use in fixing the issue. Because of the poor quality of work the city inspector did not pass the first inspection and one of the reasons was the window installation was not done properly and the window was not "easily egressible", which the inspector explained was important in case of a house fire. Since then I have had no updates from this company nor have they answered my calls. If anyone wants more information or wants to see the so-called "commercial installation" of doors and windows by a company who claims to be the best in this business, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO TEXT ME AT 305 342-5531. I strongly encourage you to think multiple times before you make the decision to select or sign a contract with "Lock Tight Impact Windows Doors and roofing" company for your installation needs. I really want to mention one employee in particular Mr Jeff Cuba who is very rude and always in a hurry and impatient while talking on the phone. He does not seem to care or listen and does not talk to you respectfully. I also have a great concern on how this company will be dealing with a customer if one has to use their 15 year warranty that they offer on their products and work. It has been almost 200 days now that they have started working on my house & left my house in such a big mess and never bothered to show any interest or initiative in completing the job. I now know that they were interested only in getting my money and once they obtained the full payment they now have no incentive in completing the job anymore. I do not recommend this company to anyone even if they offer the installation for free.

Based on 1) my EXTENSIVE research of 15 top companies in Miami, FL in this business, 2) the experience I've earned while watching how the team of invited experts work on identified problems with balcony sliding doors in my unit, and 3) the highest possible quality of delivered outcomes in terms of a repair of glass sliding doors in my unit, I am absolutely sure -- the Reliable Sliding Glass Door Repair company is the BEST in this business in Miami, FL area. I had a problem with rollers of balcony glass sliding doors for a long time - they were too noisy, difficult to open/close, etc. I've made extensive research on TOP sliding glass doors repair companies in Maimi, FL area. As a result, based on my search outcomes I've contacted (Sunday at 9:00 PM !) the top (4.9/5.0 rating on Yelp) identified company -- Reliable Sliding Glass Door Repair company. Gil, the business owner immediately returned my call, understood my problem, scheduled a visit to repair the balcony glass sliding doors in my condo unit. Again, it was done on Sunday (!) after 9:00 PM (!). The team on experts (Gil and Dave - a very experienced handyman) arrived to my unit as scheduled. After only 1.5 hours of work my 25-year old two balcony glass sliding doors work like new ones. Just one example: - Before the repair, the noise produced by old rusty rollers was about 95-100 decibels -- it is an equivalent to a noise produced by freight train, or a heavy truck; - After the repair, the installed nylon rollers provide only about 20-25 decibel of noise now - it is an equivalent to very soft whisper. OUTSTANING JOB of HIGHEST QUALITY done! FANTASTIC OUTCOMES delivered by Gil and Dave in terms of obtained quality - no noise at all, very smooth and quit movement of sliding doors, effortless opening/closing (with one finger only). I would STRONGLY recommend the Reliable Sliding Glass Door Repair company to all my friends, neighbors and every person who needs to get HIGH QUALITY repair of balcony/patio glass sliding doors.

They took her doors off of the track, cleaned out the track, and replaced the wheels. The whole process took under an hour and the cost was $300, just as quoted. Now the door opens super easily. Sliding glass doors are their specialty and I would definitely recommend them to anyone whose slider is in need of repair!
