I've been here a couple of times over the passed few years and have always had a great experience. I went in early this morning to fix my cracked iPhone screen and Justin was excellent. He told me what I needed immediately and even helped me with a couple other easy settings I just didn't know how to change on my own that I wanted. During our anniversary trip to Miami we were looking for a place to have my husband's iPad screen repaired. We did research on Yelp and found Repair 2 Fix. On Thursday we decided to drive to their location. When my husband gave the tech the damaged iPad the tech explained that the iPad screen wasn't damaged but rather the tempered glass protective screen had fractured. The honest tech took time to show my husband the actual damage & didn't try to sell him an un-needed iPad screen replacement. My husband ended up replacing the tempered glass protective screen for a whole lot less than replacing the iPad screen. I hate to even give them a 1 Star !!! Do not use these people!! They charged for 3 hours and the man they sent out left our System worse than it was before! I'm so upset and hope that they make it right but they have you initial the final paperwork and basically you agree that they fixed it unknowingly. I came here looking for a rather fast turnaround on a laptop screen that my son broke. They had me bring in the laptop to assess and called me within an hour to pick back up the laptop so my son could continue using it for schoolwork. They provided me with two quotes that I found reasonably priced instead of the replacement fee I was looking at having to shell out and a week turnaround on getting the part in. When the part came in(within the time range they gave me), I was able to return and drop off the laptop. The tech that was there quoted me 1-2 hours for the repair to be completed. The good: -Fast response time. -Fast turn around time. -Polite staff -They take walk ins. -Theyre open early -90 day warranty The bad: -About as honest as any other small business. Quoted me at $99 dollars to replace my screen. When I got there with my cracked screen and unresponsive digitizer (the touch screen) was told that the digitizer would have to be replaced and they had to add a $50 charge. THE SCREEEN GLASS AND DIGITIZER ARE ONE PIECE. Ive done the job several times I just didnt have the part to do it again. To be clear he WASNT lying; he just wasnt honest. Let me be clear, YOU CAN replace just the glass and not the digitizer but the amount of work that that takes isnt efficient for anyone to do. That shit takes hours and then you need a special machine to remove the bubbles from the OLED adhering to the new glass. What literally everyone and their mother does is replace the screen and digitizer as one piece in its entirety and swap the camera and sensors for face ID. Takes about 10 - 20 minutes. I drove 45 minutes to get it replaced so I could catch a flight at noon. I didnt have time to wait for someone else to open their shop and get to them and was expecting around that price range anyway. ***** TLDR; Misquoted price to get me in the door then jacked it up thinking I didnt know any better??? No idea dude. -Does not have haptic/3D touch with this mickey mouse screen. Wasnt told the screen used wasnt going to have the functions the phone comes with from factory. -True tone display option missing. Wasnt told it would be. - Dont know if they replaced the weather proof adhesive but just going off their desire to get one over on me I doubt it. I doubted it was an OLED screen but after testing it in the dark with a pure black image I can say that it probably is (?) but I dont think its quality. I dont think its as bright as it is from factory and i think the boarders are bigger but i dont have another phone to compare. Going to give them the benefit of the doubt and not think about it. Trust was broken as soon as they hiked the price on me. I asked the questions and got the run around; didnt want to argue. Like I said I expected around that price anyway these people need to run a business. An iFixit screen costs about that much ($150) but that stuff is amazing quality. Truly like OEM not sure if they source the screens or make them but I love em. -Probably going to lose my warrant writing this ;p (Half joking) What ever. Fixed my phone. I've always been hesitant to take my phone anywhere other than Apple or Best Buy but decided to give them a try. They told me it was the screen and display that needed to be replaced. After paying $149 we noticed the phone continued to type on its own when texting. The NEXT DAY the phone went pink/blue, the same as one of the other reviews on here. We took it in and they said that possibly from having the phone in the pocket the display had broken and that was NOT under warranty so I needed to pay another $149 to repair. Seriously?! I question the quality of what they are using to repair the phones and will NEVER give them another penny of my money. I encourage you to go elsewhere. read more

Longish post but please read if you consider a replacement battery at this shop!! Daughter's iPhone screen was cracked and to took it to Repair 2 Fix since they had such good reviews and very close to my house. They did a good, quick job and since we were leaving on a long trip, I asked if they also did iPhone battery replacements (my phone was 2 years old but 100 percent fine, but a little lagging battery wise). I had done this service at Geek Squad a couple years back (with another phone) and it was great and gave my phone another year of life. But since I was already there, I said "why not?" My phone was ready in less than an hour but later that night I realized it wouldn't fully charge. Weird. Leaving for airport next day, no time to take back when suddenly, my phone just randomly shut down. Something that had never happened BEFORE getting battery replacement. Quickly discovered it turned back on when plugged back into battery pack. Thank god. But during my trip I needed to make sure I had my battery pack handy for when phone would shut down. Fast forward 3 weeks when back from trip, I take phone back to Repair 2 Fix and explain what happened, and they said they'd replace the new battery. Ok. Great. However when I pick it up an hour later, they said my phone was fried and had a damaged mother board. What? It wouldn't even turn on for one minute. And wait, -- it NOT their fault?! So I went from a functioning iphone to no phone AND they would not refund the damaged battery. And get this, the very rude "assistant manager" said he might be able to fix it for $89. My brain exploded. They clearly damaged my phone the first time and completely broke it the second time. I was angry. The Assistant manager was condescending and rude and said I should've known this could happen. Like I was dummy and spewed out a bunch of tech jargon to make his case. I asked for his boss' contact info, he said NO. I asked for owners contact info, he said no and that the ONLY way I could get a hold of him was by writing a review. So, Hi! I'm writing this review in hopes of getting a response from the owner. Or manager of this shop. If you're reading this, please don't come here for more than a cracked screen. I had to run out and get a new phone and since the phone won't stay turned on, I cannot get the $700 value of turning the phone in and this mistake of bringing it Repair 2 Fix cost me a lot. Considering the reviews of this shop, I'm still in shock of how I was treated. Maybe it was my bad luck? But why chance it -- Geek Squad is Apple certified and will not treat customers like they're incompetent and will not leave your hanging. read more

This buisness use to be good, I have been going here for years and havnt had any problems until about last 3 months... first off each employee tells you different prices for the same thing.. then they do one job like fix my screen and 2 other things break and they don't want to cover it.. they just screwed me for for $270 when the only problem was my screen and I pick it up and later that night my phone audio and screen stopped working plus every once it a while it turns on but stays stuck on the apple sign loading screen.... I took my wife's phone for an iPhone x screen replacement on June 10th. She had called in advance and was quoted for $99 and that it would only take 15 min. When I arrived I was told it would be $149 since the display was broken as well. We decided to have the phone repaired which by the way took longer than an hour. On July 9th, my wife was trying out a new selfie stick/tripod and as she was putting in the phone, the screen went pink. She could still receive calls, hear sounds, so evidently everything was working but the display. Since we were under the 90 day warranty and thought a selfie stick could not possibly make such damage, we called ahead and were told to bring in the phone. By this time, the screen was blue. Once we arrive, the lady who helped us said that OLED screens are sensitive and since this was not an original product, it was more likely to break. According to her, it wasn't as good quality. She then proceeded to ask me if the phone had a case on. My wife said yes to which the lady replied that cases should not be on when using a selfie stick???? She then proceeded to say it would be an extra $149 to fix the screen. As I was leaving, I told the staff they should get better parts for replacements. They LAUGHED with no respect for us whatsoever and then proceeded to say that if that were the case, customers could complain about any little thing since the replacements were not as good. We left without a refund, and apology, or some sort of help. Here's what's wrong with their service: - Bad quality parts. - Poor customer service. We did not deserve to be laughed at, we paid for a service, they should have at least some sort of empathy or respect. - No intent to help our situation or even offer a discounted price for the poor parts. read more

I purchased a groupon thinking I was getting a deal. Irst they told me to come back in 2 hours. Came back in two hours and they needed another half hour. I got my phone back. The screen is super dark, like the brightness has even permanently lowered. There's a blue tint that makes things darker. The touch screen is super glitchy. Sometimes very sensitive, like when I'm tryin to scroll, it will select whatever my finger is resting on which is not normal. Other times when I trying to select something, I had to press incredibly hard. My phone isn't water proof anymore which is *quite* disappointing. Should've just take it to Apple. read more

Very disappointed. I spent $150 to fix the screen on my iPhone X in September. They gave me a 90 day warranty. After replacement, the phone would occasionally glitch, however, after I would restart the phone it would start working again. Three weeks after the warranty expired, the phone is glitching to the point that it is not usable. I went in today to show them what was happening. Justin told me he would talk to his manager and get back to me to see if they would still honor the warranty. Evidently the manager said no. I was offered a discounted repair of $100. They are obviously not using quality replacement parts as the screen barely lasted 3 months. I will get myself a new phone or take it elsewhere to fix. Update: James...I apologize if you feel I did not "respect your deadlines." Like I said before, the phone would occasionally glitch. Obviously not to the point where I thought I needed a replacement. Had I known that it was going to completely fail 3 months and 3 weeks later then yes, I would have "respected your deadline" and taken it in before the 3 month warranty ended. I do not want you to have to cover the loss. I also do not want to spend another $100 on this phone. It was a bad experience, maybe bad luck.
