Ordered a refrigerator door gasket from their very convoluted website specifying Appliance Model Number and Serial Number. Paid a premium price (35% over others) to get a 'genuine' part, plus s/h charge. Received wrong size gasket. Return process difficult; managed by AI online with no phone number listed. Finally received email with return address and return policy that I pay return shipping. When return processed, refund was made minus initial s/h charges. This mistake resulting in receiving unusable part cost me $20 in 2-way shipping and additional time and I am still without replacement part. I am certainly not reordering again from a company that is this impersonal, overpriced, and un-customer-friendly. Note: the name "Whirlpool Replacement Parts" gives the impression of exclusivity but this company actually is a subsidiary of a large holding company whose warehouse employees rate their job as high stress and high pressure. It was a main control board for our refrigerator, and until receiving it, we have had $500+ food our the cooler on ice. Repair Clinic sent me a water intake valve that had some scuff marks and an unnecessary fixture (which I thought nothing of, assuming it had been removed from a new dishwasher). When the part did not fix my dishwasher's issue, I ordered a circulation pump, which also failed to fix the issue, so I decided to return both parts. Repair Clinic blamed me for the scuff marks and extra fixture, which is unacceptable. They referenced their return policy which states that parts which have been installed cannot be returned, and denied me any form of refund. For all I know, the water intake valve was defective, and I have no recourse. Don't put any stock in the "No-Hassle 365-Day Returns" they proudly tout on their homepage. Instead, expect finger-pointing and uncaring dismissal. You are better off with one of their many competitors. read more

On the plus side, they had the part at a competitive price and shipped the correct part immediately. BUT, their customer service is awful. The day after I placed the order, I noticed that there was a digit wrong in the address (my fault). FedEx would not let me change it, said only the shipper could. I called repairclinic. After waiting on hold for 10 minutes, I pressed "1" to have them call me back. They never called. The next day, I waited on hold for an hour, but they never answered, so I pressed "1" again, for a callback (this time to a different number). They never called. I sent an email to customer service, explaining the problem. 3 days later, they responded and refused to change the address. (If they had spent 30 seconds on google maps, they would have seen that the address on the package did not exist and the requested change was to the only building on the street.) Fortunately, I was able to get FedEx to listen and I received the package. Three days later, repairclinic emailed me and said the package had been delivered and there was nothing they could do. They do not have any legitimate way of actually confirming that an item listed as in stock has more than one available. I made several attempts throughout the day to get a callback using the Pro phone number to confirm that the quantity I needed was actually in stock and simply couldn't get any response. This would clearly indicate that if I ordered the parts and they arrived wrong or not at all there is no recourse, you're just out of luck. Ordered a part for my oven and received an e-mail saying it was on its way. "It's on its way! Your Frigidaire Replacement Parts order has shipped. Please note: It may take up to 24 hours before the shipping carrier acknowledges the shipment or updates its tracking information." Well, that was seven days ago. I called Repair Clinic Customer Service for a tracking number since it was sent USPS Priority. I was given the tracking number and saw that it was still in Canton, MI. The only thing they'd done is create a tracking label 3 days after the e-mail said it had shipped. The customer service rep said it should be here in 8 to 10 days. USPS priority delivers within 3 days so it sounds like they need to get it to USPS right away instead of waiting for the orders to pile up. The web site should indicate that orders to PO Boxes will take longer than going through FedEx before the order is completed (or Repair Clinic could just take the orders to the nearest post office right away). Have used RC for local pickup of parts, and definitely not their strong suit. Had issues on last three orders, last one was 50% wrong - not a great batting average. Last order never got a confirmation email, so I had to follow up on phone with AI ordering system - which said my pickup order had already "shipped" which was confusing for something I planned to pick up... . Spoke to human, who said they could not confirm my order was picked or not - he "assumed" it was - which was not really reassuring since I had to travel two hours to get there. And what was weird - right after I got off the phone to check on my order I got a phone call telling me my order was ready. What a co-incidence! Well, order was ready, but unfortunately they picked a wrong item and got the quantity wrong on another item. It pays to check your order while you're right there and save the hassle of not getting the right part or having to return for the correct one. Local pickup is a great option, especially considering you're likely to pay as much for shipping as the part costs ($13 parts had a $12 shipping estimate) of you live within a reasonable distance. read more

Have been to this location a few times and have never been disappointed. Today was no different. I needed to get a Thermal Fuse to fix my gas dryer. Walk in, step up to counter, and show the young lady my bad part. POOF!!! With lightning speed she reaches under the counter and before I can finish saying " the guy at Lowes sent me here" she has the new part on the counter. My wife asks if they sell a lot of them and she says they are a very popular item. 26 bucks and 30 minutes later my dryer is fixed and I am grunting like Tim the Tool Man while my wife is fawning all over me. Well that last part isn't completely true but she was pretty effing amazed by my newfound appliance repair abilities. Thank you YouTube. I am sure I saved hundreds of my new now in retirement dollars and am also pretty amazed at at how easy it really was. If you need it I am pretty sure this place has or can get it.
