Went here after getting a reply from them in the middle of the night after my visit to genius bar. I had issues with my iPad charging port and Apple was gonna charge me $1000 and basically I'd get a new iPad at that point. The guy is very fast respond! I explained the whole and detailed situation and he told me to come the next day and I did. I left my iPad for 2 days and it's now working! SAMSUNG S20 ULTRA My screen cracked and and the LCD lights were acting up. I called multiple places but this place was the CHEAPEST!! They even lowered the price a bit since I paid in cash (heh). Same day I went in and he got it fixed for me in an hour. I went home and everything was okay, but then all of a sudden the camera app wouldn't work. So the next day I went in and he found out two cameras were disconnected and he fixed it for free. The guy that fixed my phone is VERY friendly and polite. Samsung S20 Ultra 5G I had seriously cracked my casing, both front, back, and shattered the camera lenses. I had gotten a quote from U Break I Fix for $300 "including a brand new battery" "Samsung set pricing". What a serious joke. After they tried to rip me off by telling me $300 was only the screen and battery; they wanted another $100+ for the back case! So, I can't to Yelp to find another place that could help me. Enter...Harut, the owner of Pre Paid Plus. He gave me a very reasonable price for the screen and the back case cover would only be another $30!!! He told me to bring it in and he could have it ready for me in about 2 hours. Done deal! I picked up my phone and away I went. Unfortunately, I couldn't get my fingerprint sensor to read. It just kept telling me there was a fingerprint sensor issue. So, I called Harut and he told me to go ahead and bring it in. Things got a bit hectic in my life and a few weeks went by. I hadn't been in touch with Harut; but, the other day I walked in with my device and he remembered exactly what my issue was. He said it shouldn't be a problem and set in to work phone. He saw how the screen he installed wouldn't work for the fingerprints; but, he still had my old screen and when he exchanged the 2, he discovered that the original worked just fine. While working on it, he reached out to his parts supplier to see if they had another screen. His supplier told him about some issue with Samsung causing issues with 3rd party repair shops and the fingerprints sensor. He said because of this, it was totally possible that the fingerprints sensor would not work. He told me that he needed to go pick up the part; but, assured me my phone would be ready to go first thing in the morning. I went back this morning and he had my phone all ready for. Guess what??? My fingerprints sensor works!!! Now, just as he finished with my phone, another of his repeat clients came in. This man was an elderly, frail man with a bit of a nervous disposition. His issue was that his old iPhone battery had gone bad. I mean, you could see how the battery had expanded so much that the phone casing looked pregnant. Harut set right in to fix his issue. Next thing I knew, more people came in wanting me phone service. This is where I watched an act of customer service that truly impressed me; which can be hard to do since Customer Service is my forte, having worked Guest Relations at Universal Studios and Tickets at Disneyland. While alternating between replacing and charging the new battery for the elderly man and setting up new service for 2 devices, Harut was able to converse in a different language with the new service customers and, calmly, explained to the elderly man about how his various concerns all stemmed from his battery having gone kaput... repeatedly. Now, I know what an honest shop, generally, runs having worked retention for Sprint when the Android platform dropped in 2009/2010. The charge of replacing the battery was amazingly priced. When I heard how much Harut was able to get the other customers into new service for 2 devices, I was impressed. By the way, I was Not charged anything extra to get my sensor working again. As I told Harut, he has my business for anything phone/tablet related going forward. I would highly encourage you to join the ranks with me in becoming a loyal customer. And, if this location isn't convenient for some reason... not to fear, Harut had another store on Washington, GadgetNeeds. I am so much happier knowing I have found a cost effective repair shop that is run by a very honest man that stands by his work and found a solution to an issue he really had no control over. PS. However, my phone started heating up a lot and my battery is dying fast which I never had before I let them fix it. So I don't know if they did something to it, but I'm not gonna assume much.
