I was working a late-night shift, and during my lunch break, like a dummy, I dropped my phone and cracked my LCD screen. I knew I had to get it fixed right away because I was leaving town the next day. I started searching for cellphone repair services and found Master Gadget Repair. I contacted them via Yelp, asked for a quote and their hours, and they responded quickly with a very reasonable price--comparable to a regular shop, but even better, they could come to me. Despite their advertised 24/7 hours, I was skeptical, but sure enough, Sean showed up at my house at 10:30 p.m., right on time. I was a bit late, but he was very understanding. He repaired my LCD screen, and since my battery kept losing charge, I asked him about a battery replacement while he was working on it. He quoted me a really reasonable price, so I said, Why not? Let's just knock them both out at the same time!! Afterward, he took me through all the troubleshooting steps, testing every feature, and everything seemed perfect at first. The next day, though, I started experiencing some issues. Thankfully, he had given me his personal number in case that happened, so I contacted him immediately. He was back at my house within 24 hours, replaced the LCD screen again under warranty, at no extra charge. His customer service was outstanding--he made me feel completely at ease--and this experience was so awesome, I already know I'm going to hit him up to fix the two iPads that I have broken. Sean and Rina are a knowledgeable, hard-working and kind duo who understand technology and work on modular repairs while meeting you where you're at. My phone died and I received a quick response from them via Yelp project. Rina asked questions and they explained in-person why and what may have happened to my phone. I met with them that same day, within a few hours. Sean (apologies if spelled incorrectly) tried various methods, including a new phone battery, however he knew and explained that, due to it being a motherboard issue, it would be more complex and costly without a guaranteed result. My phone did not turn on again (it's a Samsung S10) and they provided me with tips on what I can do next and possible upgrade options. They have amazing customer service and were very understanding and patient with my questions and with allowing me to watch as they worked. This review is a little late in coming but I would be remissed if I didn't give Master Gadget their flowers for their amazing service. I accidentally dropped a dumbbell on my phone while working out at the gym. To make things worse, I had my World Cup tickets for the USA game that I wouldn't be able to access. And with only 3 hours left before game time, I scrambled and found Master Gadget repair. I explained the situation and they said, "We got your back!" The fact that they're a mobile service helped out so much because it allowed me to get my things together while they worked on the repairs.
