Let me start by saying that the tech who worked with on my phone did an excellent job. The problem began when he upsold me on the "Asurion TechCare" plan for 5 devices and 5 appliances. My kitchen appliances are all old, so I thought why not. When my gas range broke they denied the claim. Most absurdly, they said that I had not performed "preventative maintenance". Since the major item that was broken was an electronic control unit, a black box, hard to figure exactly what they mean. Anyhow Asurion are scum. Avoid them and certainly don't purchase any appliance plan from them. read more

TL;DR: did not use their service, but they are extremely honest. Something was wrong with my camera because all my pictures had streaks of light on them. Also, there is a bright spot on my phone on the right side, which affects my wallpaper. I came into this place to have it checked out and see how much it would cost to repair. The tech took one look at the photo and said it's not the screen that's damaged. It's the photo is highlighting a glare in the background. He switched it to night mode, and the glare was gone, so it was clearly the photo I had as a background and not the screen itself. Also, I asked him about the streaks of light on my photos. He took one look at it and said that my lens cover is really dusty. He cleaned it off and we took a photo and all the streaks were gone. I wanna point this out because these are two things that any dishonest repair shop can easily say they will look at it and fix it and charge me $100-$200. Because of their honesty, this was a five minute visit where he did want adjustment and one lens cleaning and didn't even charge me. It's good to know that they are still honest repairman out there. I did not have a good experience here because I made an appointment online to replace an old Google phone battery, which the manufacturer suggested and initiated. The reason I did not appreciate this office was because when I got there, they said oh this location doesn't have those batteries. I said it would've been nice if y'all looked at the appointment I booked and the exact make and model of my phone that I listed and called me to tell me y'all don't have any batteries in stock so I could go to a location that could service my phone. read more

I came by to have two batteries replaced, one on an iPhone 14 Pro and another on an iPhone 13 Pro Max. The whole process was completed quickly and efficiently. This quiet little store fixed my Samsung S22 when the Samsung Experience Store told me it would take weeks to fix my phone whose battery was bloated! I walked in and was able hand over my phone in under 10 mins. They told me it was going to take a couple of hours to fix. I walked around for a bit and grabbed a late lunch at Porto's. My phone was ready when I went back (finished before the promised time), and it was affordable. I wasn't under warranty anymore (how convenient!) and paid around $100 (including tips). The guy on northidge mall was by not honest from the start and fix one thing did not work and he was more interested to sale me every thing possible got a new battery didn't woel till me it was my charging plug and I need up buying a magnet case with the charger and my phone still didn't work I had to get a new phone after all I would never use that guy from India, I usually don't do this but they need to be honest from the start. Great experience at uBreakiFix / Asurion in Glendale. I had a Samsung Galaxy S21 screen repair required, saw an appointment available online, and gave them a call to ensure we could come in that day. Friendly, prompt service. They listened to my issue, provided me what options I had and were clear with updates during the servicing. They mentioned sometimes a certain wire gets knocked out of place and would check that first before going through the expensive screen replacement route - I really appreciated that. They also mentioned that a screen replacement takes about 2 hours which I wasn't aware of before; they gave me an estimated pickup time and said it's no problem if I couldn't come by same day and would hold on to my phone for up to a week. Just came from this store and had a bad experience. Made an appointment through samsung.com for a warranty repair. They did find my information, but not a warranty repair ticket. My galaxy fold 4 stopped opening fully a few days ago and it is still under warranty. There was no physical damage to the phone because it is in a case. I had a little trouble finding the place, but when I called Steve directed me to the right area. So whomever texted me has the wrong address. Oh well mistakes happen. I explain that my phone will not open all the way. Since there is no warranty repair ticket Steve goes behind the counter to ask his colleagues if they can repair it. He comes back and says they "have been warned" that a warranty repair cannot be made for the phone not opening fully. Wait, what? And it's gonna cost 600 to repair the phone. He says to maybe call Samsung so they can make an exception for me. Okay.... Call samsung and they say that if there is no physical damage to the phone it can be repaired under warranty. I can mail the phone in or go to a service center. Okay, I'll go to a service center, this time an actual Samsung store. Round 2! Walk into the samsung store, ask about a repair and they look at the phone, say yes it is in good shape and they can repair it under warranty. So, no this place does not want to repair your phone. My mother came into the store with a waterlogged phone. She had tried going to previous places that same day, before uBreakiFix, but none of them even attempted to try and fix her problem. When she came into uBreakiFix, she was greeted by Jason who she then consulted her problem to. Jason was honest with her and said there most likely wouldn't be a great chance her phone could be salvaged. However, he insisted on attempting to fix her phone by helping it dry overnight and seeing if it'd work then. The next day came around and it turned out her phone wouldn't work again so my mother had to buy herself a new phone. Although Jason wasn't successful in reviving my mother's phone, my mother was understanding and grateful Jason was willing to actually try and help her and still considered him to be very helpful. Was hopeful about this place with the good reviews but I did not receive a good experience here. Dropped off ps5 for a fix and was told 2-4 days turnaround. Heard nothing and no updates on the tracker by day 4. Called for an update and said it would be ready the next day. It wasn't, and they hadn't even looked at it by end of day 5 even though mine "was next in the queue" the day before. Waste of time, should have just sent it in to Sony. Excellent customer service here! I dropped my iPhone into the ocean. It was only in the water (less than 2 feet in depth) for less than a minute and on the beach where the waves were, but I wanted to make sure it was not damaged. After wiping it dry from the water, I turned off the phone, and brought it straight to uBreakiFix. The guys here, Andrew and Kyle, took care of the rest. They took my phone and did a "dehydration" process to safely remove as much water as possible overnight. The next day in less than 18 hours, they called me to let me know my phone was ready to be picked up. Andrew was very reassuring that the diagnostics he ran showed no damage to the phone. He said the seals from my iPhone were able to block off most of the water and not cause damage. We tested the phone in their store, and it was working just fine. He said there was ocean water in the phone, but I was able to save my phone in time by quickly turning it off after taking it out of the water, and bringing it straight to them. He also cleaned the water that was in the phone. The diagnostic test was free. Since there was a little misunderstanding between talking to their staff from their call center and the actual technicians about the process for the diagnostic and cleaning, he also waived the fee for our cleaning. That was so nice of them! I would have gladly paid the cleaning fee since I was just happy they took care of my phone. I'm so glad I brought my iPhone in to have professionals look at the phone instead of wondering if I damaged it or not and further breaking my phone in the process if I had tried to charge it or cause it to short. read more
