I appreciated the messages after I scheduled the repair, which was just a few days from when I scheduled. Thanks to this, I disconnected Apple Pay and Find My so the iPhone was ready for the battery replacement. When I arrived at my scheduled time, the man at the front desk took my phone and the case and brought it to a technician. The shop has a big and comfortably padded couch where people can wait. I listened to my favorite podcast on lifting culture and bodybuilding using a portable MP3 player. I was surprised that in just exactly half an hour later my phone was ready and the battery had been replaced without incident. I did not realize that replacement batteries are at zero when shops receive them. My iPhone was at 16 percent. The shop was gracious enough to charge the phone for 10 minutes to boost my level to 27 percent so I had plenty of charge for the trip home. I have a pocket cell phone charger. I wish I brought it. An advisory for customers to bring their portable cell phone chargers would have been helpful. Yet, I easily made it home on the charge I had with the brand new battery.
