I would not stop at this flower shop. The shopkeeper yelled at us. The flowers are overpriced. I am leaving this 1/5 review, because during my purchase on a Sunday afternoon, the shopkeeper lost his temper and yelled at my mother and I. He threw his cap at the floor, walked away from us at the register, and tried ignoring us to make us go away while there were others in line. I asked him not to raise his voice at us too. This was after he had charged us more than what was stated on the price tag of the bouquet. We paid it since wanted that bouquet in particular. This exchange overall felt very disrespectful. We had bought 10 peonies here for $67 dollars. The peonies here are $30 a bunch (5 pc). This is quite overpriced, as they are resold from another vendor. The quality of the flowers was also not great. One bunch of peonies had mold growing on it, meaning it had been there for awhile. We have bought fresher peonies at Whole Foods before. I don't recommend -- buying flowers here ruined my day, and that's the opposite point of buying flowers. read more

If you've driven down 92 going to/from Half Moon Bay, you've definitely seen the sign for Repetto's and their affordable flowers. It was really fun to go in and pick out different types of flowers: roses, tulips, hydrangeas and more. Everything was reasonably priced, and they even had a DIY floral bouquet station. Everytime I've come here in the past, the staff here has been so kind and helpful. As someone who doesn't know much about flowers, they always helped me pick the perfect roses. On our last trip here, we noticed that they had a closing sign and turns out they are closing the storefront after many years at this location, which was bummer. They said their last day of business is March 31. Everything is 50% off, so if you are in need of planters, vases, and other flowers, sooner would be a good call. read more

My blooms lasted 3 days in water. My homegrown blooms last at least 10. The lady at the store told me my homegrown flowers are probably poor quality and have pests. Wonderful flower shop! I did not know the shop closes at 5 and came in here a few minutes after closing time. The nice lady was gracious enough to let me shop around. They have a lovey fridge full of so much variety and beautiful selection of roses, hydrangeas, iris plus many more in different colors. It is nice that they have space set up to assemble your own bouquets, wreaths, swags...or whatever you like. There is a large assortment of field flowers, filler greens as well as hothouse roses (not grown on site) I try to be be very careful to examine the flowers in buckets I select from their cold room...usually the bunches, especially greens are fresh...but sometimes a bunch might be left out of water, past its prime or damaged. read more

The $6 for a dozen roses definitely is tempting so much that I have stopped here a few times. If you are looking for a centerpiece for a dinner party, then this is a great option but if you are looking for flowers that will last the week, not so much. Because they are kept in a very cold room, what looks great on site may not last when it is brought to room temperature. Because it is winter, our blooms this time lasted about 3 days but during the summer months, half of it is drooping by the next day so just keep in mind that you get what you pay for. read more

Repetto's had a wide range of pumpkins at very reasonable prices. They had varieties of pumpkin I've never seen before and had no idea even existed. Sweet! Prices were significantly lower than the surrounding 'pumpkin farms.' While we were there, I took a peek at their flowers, and they were also well-priced. I called Repetto's to have a birthday bouquet delivered to one of my close friends. Service over the phone was courteous, same day service awesome (one of my criteria) and the flowers- they were well received and I was told the favorite out of the various flower arrangements received! They insisted on taking high quality, staged photos in excellent lighting to show just how lovely the arrangement was. Even after receiving several gorgeous pro photos- my friends still said, "the photos really do not do justice to how gorgeous this bouquet is!"! So, there you go. My favorite part of this shop is the refrigerated section of all sorts of flowers and greens to make your own arrangements or what have you. The price isn't entirely cheap but it also isn't ridiculously expensive. A dozen roses that haven't sold in a while will go for $6 if there are any. They also have really great prices on orchids, which are all in healthy and good shape. The snake plants here are tall and lively and go for about $40. In the fall, their pumpkin patch is up the road. It's a fun little spot with a corn maze that costs about $2 each per person. The corn maze isn't all that great, but hey it's $2 and it's a fall thing to do.... so the price matched the experience. The prices were good too for the produce themselves. We walked away with a pumpkin and medium sized gourds of different colors plus corn maze entrance fees for less than $15 between two people. read more

The ladies here are super sweet! I stop here on my way back to the office. It's always good to walk in someplace and they remember your face. The flowers are always fresh and the prices are very reasonable. Once you get inside the you can follow the Yellow brick road to the flowers. This is a great place to go if you're going to put together some simple arrangements. The staff can be a little surly so be prepared for that. Also, you're going to want to bring a jacket. You're required to go into the refrigerated area to choose your flowers and it gets really cold in there! You also have to have a clear idea about what you want, or bring a friend with good taste. I saw some ladies in there putting together some truly horrific DIY bouquets. I managed to make some really cute wildflower mason jar arrangements for my wedding ceremony. I found this place out on a whim as my then fiance and I were on our way to Moss Beach to scout for engagement photo shoot place. The nursery was closed by the time we were done scouting the photo shoot area so I just immediately looked it up on yelp and boy was I grateful that I spotted this place!!!! We were getting married on a budget and most people I spoke to spent between $2,000 to $5,000 on flowers!!!!!!!!!! YIKES!!!! NOPE!!! I couldn't do that!! so I've been thinking DIY bouquets and use the least amount of flowers for my wedding, not using flowers as centerpieces!!! Most florists, including Safeway, charges between $150- $300 for a bridal bouquet!! yup, ridiculous, in my opinion!! A friend who got married in 2012, spent $850 only for her own bridal bouquet, 3 bridesmaids bouquets and about 8 bouteniers and corsages! yikes!!! After checking out costco and how the variety of flowers weren't as varied... I decided to go to Repetto's for my bouquets and a few small vase flower arrangements the day before my wedding. The fact that they have workstations to work on the flowers at their store really appealed to me as I don't have to make messes in my own home (plus I don't have to worry I don't buy enough flowers, etc). I'm not very crafty and never made bouquets before and my apartment is perhaps not the be but I did look up stuff online and brought necessary tools, supplies and equipments (wires, sheer, pairing knife, floral tape, ribbon). I also brought a couple bucket to fill water and put the flowers in before we work on the flowers. I also brought a friend with me to help hahahaah!!! You may need more hands if you're to do elaborate and more stuff! The store was surprisingly empty... I thought there would be more people there BUT I was amazed and surprised by their prices!!!! If you ask them to make bouquets... their prices range from $35 (for smaller bouquet) to about $100!! Flower arrangements on vases for centerpieces range from as low as $15 (small ones)..WOW!!!!!!!! only if I knew!!!! As we entered their fresh flower refrigerator... (bring a light jacket, it's cold in there!!) WOW!!!!!!!! We got so excited!! LOTS of variety of flowers, lots of roses, amazing!!! The roses though, are not extremely cheap... they were $10 per dozen (similar to safeway prices) BUT most of their fillers and lots of other flowers (including stalks and hydrangeas) were $3 per bunch!! WOW WOW WOW!!!!!!!!! Everything looked so pretty so it was kinda hard to decide ahahahahahahahahah I love flowers!!! But we settled with a dozen of pink/mauve roses. baby's breath, fuchsia hudrangea, pink stalks, some green fillers and some cool looking vegetables ahahahhah! The cashier pointed out that once you take the flowers out of the refrigerator, no return!!! so don't overbuy!!! We did go back for another bunch of small pink filler flowers later :) With the flowers... we made 1 bridal bouquet and 1 MOH bouquet (I only have a MOH in my bridal party), two small flower arrangements for the sweetheart table and a small vase arrangement (leftover flowers). We also spotted $35 on a HUGE floral arrangement in their freezer (already arranged!) so we bought it too to put on the church altar! I spent $72 for all these flowers for 1 pre-made HUGE arrangement for the church altar, 2 bouquets, 2 small vases and 1 medium size vase arrangements!!! WHAT A STEAL!!!! (see the photos of my DIY stuff ($30 spent on all the fresh flowers to make them!). All the workers who we met were older ladies who were super friendly!!! not sure what the fuss is with the other reviewers.. maybe they went in bad days??!!!! Sadly Repetto doesn't deliver off the coast.. but certainly if I ever need flowers again!!! I would hire them as my florist and just pick up the flowers myself!! Their prices are so low that it's totally worth it to go there!! BTW, as long as you buy flowers from them.... you can use their fridge to store the flowers until your event day!! I live an hour away so I'm not driving back to complain and ask for a replacement. But buyer beware. Repetto's made my tulip wedding bouquet for our April 2011 wedding. They were super relaxed and easy to work with, and best of all, I was able to afford a wedding bouquet. My mom and I toyed with the idea of making my bouquet ourselves, but I'm so glad we hired a professional. For wedding bouquets, they charge you the full price for the flowers you pick out plus 50% of that for labor. My mom and I stopped by one month before our wedding to find out what they had in stock. Then, two days before the wedding, my mom and stopped by to pick out flowers for the bouquet. Some fresh, colorful tulips caught my eye. We bought around $30 worth of tulips (3 bunches). Total labor was $15. All together we paid $45 + tax for a beautiful, simple bouquet. We also bought some thank you flower arrangements from Repettos. Overall, we got a beautiful bouquet without having to break the bank. You can do all of your wedding flowers through Repettos for cheap. Ladies, if you're considering the DIY route with the SF Flowermart, you might find working with Repetto's just as cheap and possibly last stressful. read more
