I was referred by an attorney on a lien after being in a major car accident, that wasn't due to anything I had control over. Upon meeting him i advised him of past experiences with opiates and my concern that was met with a standoffish stance from Naveed, only speaking my truth. I didn't ask for medication. After going through the motions on my end with epidurals with Naveed, I had a surgery at Tova with an outside surgeon. I was advised by my designated post surgery guardian that while in the waiting room, a conversation between Mr. Natanzi and the surgeon was clearly overheard. Which in accordance with HIPAA Privacy Rule (45 CFR 164.510(b) isn't legal. Mr. Natanzi was asked by the surgeon what he should prescribe me, to which Mr. Natanzi stated "Don't, he's a drug addict". Which was all heard from the waiting room in the lobby of Tova Surgical Center. A phone conversation was had between Mr. Natanzi and myself upon hearing of this which is vehemently denied ever occurring. Mr.Natanzi called back 20 minutes following the initial denial, apologizing saying he shouldn't have said the above statement. With that being said, this is 30 minutes upon leaving the center, post surgery. If anybody has a question, this should be all you need to see about the type of care expressed by Mr. Natanzi.

I have had 15 surgeries in 12 years and have an aggressive autoimmune disease that requires pain management and injections and all manner of treatment options. The care and compassion are wonderful. If you live with chronic pain in the current climate, it can be impossible to get long-term help or get compassionate care. But Dr. Root will and can help. From spine shots and other options, they have an solution for almost every problem; this has been my experience. The office staff are helpful and wonderful -- they don't judge and do their best to understand and manage your needs. Also, they answer the phone; however, if they are busy and you leave a message, they WILL CALL YOU BACK -- a concept that is forgotten in many medical facilities.
