I NEVER leave bad reviews, but I just can't understand how I was treated by this company. We parked in their lot, paid for parking through their app (which is the only way to do it, at least in this specific lot). I came back out and had a ticket. I called at least 10 times, left at least 3 messages, emailed numerous times to all the email addresses I could find - and no one ever got back to me. I have screenshots of the paid-for parking. I finally went to pay for parking on their website just so I wouldn't get towed in the future, and we had a ticket in there from a different day too - a day we didn't even leave the house - and we had definitely not received a ticket on our car considering our car was in our own driveway all day. To this day, they still will not return any of my messages. We are downtown at the ICCU Arena a LOT, and spend a lot of money in this specific lot - and I will now walk blocks rather than giving them any money. read more

Two family members and I received parking tickets in an unmarked lot where we've parked occasionally for more than 10 years, at 9th and State, on a weekend morning. I contacted Republic Parking immediately and Dee replied saying there were "several permit parking only" signs in the lot. I went back to the lot, took lots of photos and sent them to her. They showed the lot entrance, and every single parking space with no signs anywhere. She repied with two photos of faded, small signs low to the ground and not near the entrance or any of the parking spaces, and the signs say nothing about a permit being required. Dee wouldn't budge, so I filed a complaint with the BBB. They closed the case without making a decision. (Thanks, that was a big help, BBB!) In the 4 months since our tickets were issued, neither Republic Parking nor the client (Global Travel) has updated any signage in the lot. You think that after seeing my photos, from a driver's perspective, they'd make a good faith effort to mark the lot. read more

Only park in a Republic Parking Northwest area if you absolutely have too. This company has no values. I received a parking notification in the mail that I had an unpaid parking ticket that was not paid within 15 days. Now its late which is an additional $25 for a total of $50. What type of business is net 15? I understand $25 for running late and letting my car sit longer than it should in an empty parking lot but another $25 if not paid in 15 days is ridiculous. Rather then arguing I went online to pay it, but hey there is a $2.50 processing fee to pay online; total bill was $52.50. I should have parked on the street! I received a notice from Republic Parking in the mail yesterday claiming I did not pay for parking on February 13th, 2013 - which is incorrect, and that they issued a notice stating $25.00 was owed - which is incorrect. My husband and I had invited a friend to a cooking class at the Basque Market that evening. We put the exact amount of cash in the pre-pay box for the *correct* space we parked in. We even commented at the time it was novel we were pre-paid for *overnight* - when we were leaving shortly after 8 pm. First of all - there was no notice either on my car nor sent in the mail stating I had not paid - because in fact I had. But their machine did not give any receipt. Secondly - this looks suspiciously like an attempt to take advantage of someone that may have forgotten what happened nearly 3 months ago and get them to just send $50. I know exactly what happened. Their machine did not give any receipt. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I suggest they make sure their machine issues receipts so they can properly and honestly track who does and does not pay in the future. R Smith read more

Walked out of a quick meeting only to find Republic Parking employee writing a ticket for my car. He claims my time is up. It appeared to me I had more more time. The guy gets very rude and tells me I need to go put more money in the collection area and take my ticket. From the beginning of the conversation to the end the guy is a total jerk. I get it you have a crappy job but that doesn't mean you have to be a jerk. You took the crappy job not me....I go on line to pay the bill. They charge me an extra $2.50 for paying online. You would prefer to pay someone to process my check over me taking my time to pay online. Your business logic explains a lot. read more

Just got off the phone with this company. The lady I spoke with was the worst!!! I paid for my parking! $15 for the day. They gave me a ticket that day. I had one perfectly straight and visible and they took the time of an old one (that was sideways) from a different day!! The lady was Very Rude!!! I paid for my parking!!! What is your problem?!?! Today was the second time I've been aggressively harassed by a Republic Parking employee when leaving the Chandlee Bldg on 5th & Main. I went to the Flying M during my lunch break, and when I went to leave, the attendant rushed over to me and demanded to know where I had just come from, and insinuated that because he didn't see me come out of the building, I may have parked there improperly and gave me a "warning" to not park there again. I called Republic Parking to complain and I informed them that what I do with my day is none of his business, it's an abuse of power to approach customers and demand to know where they've been or else they'll get a ticket, and this is the second time I've complained about it. The manager, Dee, said, "It's his job." So, since RP seems to think it's okay for their attendants to harass people, I took my complaint to the building manager, Thornton, Oliver & Keller. I also complained to Flying M, and I will also be letting other businesses in that building know that the RP is discouraging people from coming there. read more

It was entirely my fault for not reading the receipt or the complete signage and I did Not leave the receipt on my dash. You were very helpful when I called to explain and see what I can do about it. Only one star because there is not the option for negative stars! I paid for my parking space on September 6th on Main by Bobbi Bullocks salon. When You pay at this lot you put in your space # etc. in to computer and pay said amount, place ticket on dash and all should be good. That is not true with this company. Came out of 2 hour appointment to find 25.00 ticket on my window. In their defense my paid parking slip had fell off dash when I shut door to middle console area. I called company next morning and spoke to a man and told him I would email pic of my parking voucher and the parking ticket marked with same time, space and such. He said he would check email and call me back if he could not clear it up. I never heard from him so I figured all was well. This week I received a letter in the mail stating my 25.00 ticket was now 50.00. I called office and got Dee this morning and she wanted me to resend email and since it is not dated back to day after the ticket she lowered my ticket to 10.00 to pay for the letter they sent out to me. I work at an office and send many letters and statements out and never charge recipients 10.00. These people are crooked and very horrible to deal with. read more

I received a letter in the mail that I had an unpaid parking ticket from December 2018 and that because I had failed to pay it in 15 days, they doubled the charge to $50. It was the first I had heard of a ticket, there was never anything stuck to my car, and I have never parked in a no-parking zone in my life. I had no idea what it was about, so I immediately called the number and left a message. I never heard back from the Company and just this week received a second "DEMAND" letter. I believe this company is a scam, but I am now forced to send in a $50 payment for a ticket I had no knowledge of in order to keep my credit clean. What a racket!!!! read more

Parking attendant says you don't have to pay if you stay for less than an hour when parking at the end of the day. Then Republic sends bills with late fees and DMV fees because we didn't pay. If you are going to charge, tell us you are going to charge. Don't tell us it is free for under 1 hour (we ran back to be sure to be back) then a month later we are faced with a bill. read more

Parked in a lot on 5th and Idaho across from Flying M. There were maybe 4 cars in the lot Saturday 12/13/15 around 1:00pm. I had my two little boys with me to go see the model trains. The lot attendant was there writing the other cars tickets and he actually watched me go put money in the box. I was shocked to see a ticket on my car when I returned! We were gone a total of 30 minutes. When I spoke with them today they said I had put the money in the wrong box and it should have been an electronic pay box but they would gladly reduce the $25 fee to $5. So he intentionally watched me pay for the wrong lot and didn't say anything!?! And they know that this happens frequently?!?! $5 an hour is not bad, $25 for a parking ticket is (plus a $2.50 'convenience' fee). Next time i'll just park on the street and take a $15 ticket. read more
