This week when I showed up, they had me dump all the brass into a container and they weighed it and told me it was only 459 lbs, and the price was now only $1.69lb. I questioned their scale an mentioned I had much more they told me call their purchasing agent for a better price. I called and had to leave a message, same as last year, no call back this time, same as last time. So 1/14/25 I called Heavy Metal Recycling, Louie took my call Very professionally he questioned my load and said Brass shells were paying $1.80-$1.90 a pound and he would have to see it. Yesterday I showed up with 1013lbs (per my scale) of brass. Louie had a man set up a large box and weighed the empty box in front of me, next had me dump the brass into the box as they inspected some of it. They put it back on the scale and said 1014lbs and said he would go $1.85lb, I was super happy, all three men I spoke to were very kind and pleasant, the yard was very clean and I'm looking forward to my next trip there. Small list, Heavy Metal Recycling it closer to me than my other yard, they pay better, (I went home and called my old yard for some quotes), and they were not offended when asked to see the scale. But best of all they will sell also, my old yard in Worcester will not sell.

Our Inspector was thorough and detailed he was, personable, competent, helpful and pleasant. He went to great length to explain things, the level of severity of issues and things to focus when we buy the home. This was probably the best experience I have had with a Home Inspection and the report that I received will be a document that I will use to update the various aspects of the home. It was forty pages with a ton of reference pictures and was well worth the money. I have had inspections in the past from "franchise" type companies and they have missed a ton of stuff and taken shortcuts, you won't see that with Walsh, great outfit and refreshing to be able to recommend a small business with such consistency.

They got me in right away (when I called back the 2nd time to book, they came the same day!). Two nice guys showed up, were here for about 30 minutes, and cleaned the vent. I asked them to take pictures since the work was done in the attic, and I didn't go up there (see attached pics). We had not had them cleaned in about 4 years, and they needed it! Lowes came out yesterday to clean our air ducts. The tech who came was amazing! My husband was home…read morewith him and he explained everything he was doing and why he was doing it. He found some debris in the air ducts (such as pink installation, a small block of wood, etc.) that should not have been there. One of our vents was entirely blocked by insulation! He also went to each vent to apply a cleaning/another bacterial solution. He did a very through job and we could not be happier with the service we received.
