I took the Basic Life Support class provided by the American Heart Association at this location and I've taken a CPR class every 2 years for the last 20 plus years and this was THE best CPR class I've taken for 2 reasons: 1) Each student had 2 "CPR dummy bodies" to practice on the whole time and didn't have to share (as I've had to do in prior classes). Practice makes you better and a lot more confident with what to do in an emergency. The "CPR dummies" that were provided have an alert so you know when you are applying the right amount of pressure for compressions and that was very helpful. 2) The instructor, George, has a great teaching manner:  clear, inclusive in his method of communication, not intimidating, and with a sense of humor. He walked around and worked with everyone and paid attention to each student. It was easy to see that everyone learned a lot. A few of us talked after the class and all were in agreement that this was a great class. read more
