I just renewed my ACLS and BLS classes again with George at Rescue with CPR.  His class is by far the best and most fun I've ever had.  George is an incredible instructor who exceeded all expectations. His passion for teaching is palpable, making the learning experience both engaging and informative. His classes are thorough and easy to follow. George ensures we understand the techniques thoroughly and explain the rhythms well.  He really goes above and beyond to explain the reasoning on WHY you're doing it this way. Other instructors would normally tell you what to do and memorize it. But he actually takes the time to explain the fundamentals involved. It makes learning a lot easier. The hands-on portion of the CPR is perfect. There are plenty of rooms and manikins you can choose from.   There is no anxiety or stressing with the mega code. I appreciate the efficiency of how class is run, which contains no unnecessary duplicative information but strongly emphasizes on BLS/ACLS contents that would be necessary to remember in running codes. Instructor uses basic physiology to bolster rationale and algorithm of various ACLS algorithms, which enables further critical thinking. Instructor knows each of the participants and assesses competency in each of us as we progress. Instructor also advocates interdisciplinary collaboration, highlights multiple real examples of ineffectiveness in the hospital setting and works on our response for better communication, which helps us to become better clinician. I've been an RN/NP for 23 yrs now and I can't believe I just took my first ACLS renewal class with George! He was 100% amazing, knowledgeable, and entertaining. I wish I could have known about him sooner. In the past, I was always anxious and scared to renew my ACLS b/c of being put on the spot for mock codes. It also doesn't help that EKG rhythms are not my forte. George made EVERYONE in class feel comfortable. If you don't know the answer, it's ok to say, "IDK!" I actually learned and retained more info in his ACLS renewal class than any other ACLS renewal class I have taken. He has some pretty hilarious acronyms to help you remember what to do in a code situation. He even made it a point that you could run a code with your eyes closed after completing his class. The location is easy to find, parking is abundant, the classroom setting is comfortable and the equipment is up to date and clean. Take Rescue with CPR! You won't regret it! read more
