The class was exceptional. George is not only very knowledgeable and competent but more importantly has great teaching skills. The atmosphere created during the course is relaxed and very conducive to learning and retaining information. When the instructor asks you a question to which you have the wrong answer, he won't let you feel incompetent. He will simply say "a lot of people give me that answer" which makes you feel good, like you belong somewhere... (until halfway through the course you realize what company that puts you). Although CPR saves lives, I dreaded taking the class! It was always rushed, uncomfortable, and boring. I took PALS and NRP with George and it was amazing! He focuses on the important details, the ones you really need to save a life. He is incredibly knowledgeable but gentle if you give the wrong answer. There is a lot of laughing and jokes, which makes the class fly by.
