Though, I was within her peripheral vision and she definitely was aware I was there. She just never greeted me. Then, a coworker of hers, also a female, came to her to talk to her. She too did not acknowledge me. I saw another customer enter and line up in front of a male employee. He helped her. So I went and lined up there. He ignored me. Wtf. The 2nd female who ignored me after the 1st female noticed I was not being helped, so she asked me, "Have you been helped?" I flatly said, "No." The 1st female looked at me for the first time, but with attitude and anger, almost like she wanted to hit me. The guy proceeded to help me, barely making eye contact with me. Meanwhile, the 1st female was staring me down everywhere she went. I even caught it on camera. Ask me for the footage. I even posted it on Yelp. This was such a bizarre, rude experience. Customer service was extremely poor at the front desk. Only the customer service at the cattery lightened my mood. Such a stark difference. Whoever helped me there was extremely sweet. Front desk was horrible.

He had been exhibiting signs of jaw pain recently and had been examined by a specialist he sees monthly and then by his regular vet soon after. Neither could find any obvious problems. On Tuesday of this week, he suddenly began salivating profusely and I strongly suspected a dental issue. My regular vet clinic (where I have been going for 22 years) couldn't fit us in for a dental cleaning anytime soon, so I immediately began searching for a clinic that could do an emergency cleaning. Some had no openings while others said they had no staff for that procedure. I struck out at nine places before broadening my geographic search and thankfully discovering Hayfield. Dr. Watson examined my dog and did bloodwork the next day (Wednesday), and I took him back today (Thursday) for the cleaning. His bloodwork was ready for me to review when I arrived early this morning. Dr. Watson is knowledgeable, skilled, patient, compassionate and communicative - all the things you want in a veterinarian - and even though we had just met, I felt as though my dog was in very good hands. She called me during the procedure to let me know that everything was going well and to ask a question and then called back to let me know that he was coming out of anesthesia and give me a pick-up time. The staff were all kind, helpful and compassionate, too. I am so grateful and relieved to have found Hayfield - especially during what I thought was an emergency. From beginning to end, my experience was wonderful, and I will happily recommend Hayfield - and Dr. Watson - to anyone looking for an excellent veterinarian and clinic.

I know my dog had some mats in some areas because I spend over an hour brushing her every night and 24 hours later she gets new mats, but thinking about it now, there is no way she couldn't get 1/4 cut and needed 1/8 instead. It was pure laziness and BS they tried to feed me. The cut was also uneven all over and I had to fix it when she got home. She also doesn't smell like she just got groomed. She smells like a pet store. Additionally, I was quoted $120 on the phone and charged $135 plus an additional $10 for de-matting. What and where exactly did the de-matting occur when she was shaved all the way down and all over except for her head and tail? Talk about ambiguous pricing and hidden charges. Saddest part was that we had to pay before we got the dog so naturally, we tipped 20% but had I seen my dog first I would not have tipped a single penny. For nearby groomers, Barksuds is so much better! I couldn't get an appointment in time and desperately needed a groom which is why I settled for this place knowing they didn't have really good reviews, but wow, I can't believe they think this is "looking pawesome and feeling fabulous. My dog definitely looks like sh**t and feels like "a$$." She's been hiding in her crate all day and she never goes in there during the day.
