My daughter had pneumonia and I needed to make an emergency trip. Once that staff found out how I'll she was they bent over backwards for us. Micheal was professional, kind and went above and beyond for our entire stay, including leaving a cute get well note. Brandon checked in with us and they both helped us tremendously. I'm so grateful and will tell every UO parent how great our experience was.

Decent stay for an overnight on a road trip. We stopped here on our way to Seattle. We stayed in the 2 room suite. Each room was separated by the full kitchen/living room. Each bedroom had a queen bed with its own private bathroom and door. The couch in the living room was a pull out bed as well. Plenty of space for a family or anyone really. Onsite the officer daily breakfast (pastries, eggs, sausage, bacon, bagels, oatmeal, make your own waffle station, fresh fruit, yogurt and toppings for the yogurt such as dried fruit, sugar, etc). There is plenty of on-site parking, a basketball court, and a place to lock away your bicycle.

Booked a two bedroom, two bath suite with just a couple hours notice via the Marriott app. Quite convenient and easily done, which was great for this traveling family of five. We requested a rollaway bed and found it in the room when we arrived. The check-in process was quick and efficient, completed by a very friendly and personable young man. The room itself was clean and comfortable with a nice sized kitchen, which we won't be using (we are here for just one night), but no doubt is oh so useful for those with a longer stay. Complimentary breakfast in the morning and free parking and Wi-Fi round out the many positives of this place.

The gym is the size of my closet. 2 treadmills, 1 elliptical, 1 bike, & 1 sad little stack of free weights.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by two very friendly and helpful front desk agents. Checking in was a breeze, and within 5 minutes I was inside of my room and unpacking. This is a pet-friendly hotel, but it doesn't reek of animals. However, there doesn't appear to be a designated area for excrement, so pet owners were allowing their animals to do their business in the parking lot. Can't fault the hotel for the lack of couth in pet owners, though. The rooms are clean and have brand new furniture. I loved the large, comfy couches! The beds and the mattresses were better than other Marriott hotels' beds as well (newer?) At first appearance, the rooms appeared borderline classy! I was impressed! Until... Night fell... and as I lay my head on my pillow, my experience started to take a left turn. A strong smoke odor began wafting into my bathroom area and it didn't take long to figure out the person above me was smoking and the smoke was pouring through the vents. I attempted to cover it, but to no avail. So, I opened a window and let the 40° air inside; It helped. Just as I felt my eye lids getting heavy again, a parade of elephants decided to play tag up and down the stairs alongside my room. (Note: By "elephants," I mean someone's unsupervised, fast-food-devouring, Ritalin-popping, bastard kids.) Once their sugar comas set in and the noise died down, I began drifting off to sleep yet again, only to be jolted awake by a jet engine taking off in my ear. (Note: By "jet engine," I mean heater... The noisiest flipping heating unit in the history of mankind. Seriously.) I finally gave up on sleep and went to the gym at 4am. Ugh. I was out of toilet paper anyway, so I thought I'd work out then grab some from the front desk. ... Whoa. Did I step into the maintenance closet? If it wasn't for the mirrored wall (to make the room feel larger), this "gym" could easily be mistaken for a storage locker. The huge mirror, bare walls and sad equipment gave it more of a haunted house vibe. It felt unnatural and scary to work out in such cramped quarters without a window or some sort of ventilation. Crammed into approximately 70 sq ft of "gym" are 2 treadmills, 1 elliptical, 1 bike, & 1 sad little stack of free weights, a fan, and a fit ball (which couldn't be used if someone else was in there); Smallest and most uncomfortable gym I've ever seen at a hotel, but the equipment was clean and functioning, and the towels were plentifully stocked. The gym is a major travel consideration for me, but I realize it doesn't matter to most people, so I'm not going to dock any stars based on my personal preferences not being met. I apparently also uncovered a mysterious toilet paper shortage in this hotel. Before I started working out, I let the front desk know that both the gym bathroom and the two rooms I booked were in desperate need of toilet paper. Two hours later, the roll holders were still empty. I notified the front desk a second time and was handed a roll that was 3/4 gone. The desk agent was very kind and apologetic.... But, really? Overall, the hotel is clean and the staff is focused on providing excellent customer service. Were it not for the noise, I would've probably had better than a 2.5 stars, "okay" experience. I'd stay here again, but I'd bring ear plugs and request not to be in a room near any of the stairwells. Clean and friendly trump almost everything else for this weary traveler :) Note: This hotel is not walking-friendly to area restaurants and downtown, even though the distance on GPS makes it appear as though it would be. The location and surrounding roads turn a 1 mile walk into a 2-4 mile drive to most food and entertainment destinations.

Check-in was smooth, and the staff member who greeted us was genuinely pleasant and cool, giving us some extra water and few green bags of goodies (returned the next day), promising to wave the parking fee. That's where the positives ended. After a long drive, we dropped our bags in da rooms and went out for a dinner without inspecting our rooms a bit closely. When we returned later that night and checked the beds with a UV light, we were shocked to find stains on both beds. It was darn disturbing (photos attached)! We went down to the front desk to report it. The night staff told us there was no one available to change the linens and no other rooms available to change at full occupancy. Instead, we were handed a set of sheets and sent back to deal with it ourselves. After 10 PM, exhausted, we had no real choice but to accept it. In the morning, we raised the issue again with the new front desk rep. The replacement sheets were not much better, and despite our complaint, the response was limited to verbal apologies only. We were still charged full price for the night, plus a $20 parking fee for overfilled parking lot that's essentially had open access from the street. This is not the level of cleanliness or service expected from a Hyatt. Do your due diligence and do not assume standards are being met. Check your room carefully before settling in. Breakfast on the other hand was great! Variety of eggs, milks and healthy choices beat other Hyatt locations we stated at the next day in Portland. Loved it, and that what basically got the stars.

Overall, good experience. Great location near a mall and Trader Joe's. Convenient (though not…read morefree) parking. Friendly staff. The breakfast was good and they had vegetarian sausage and bacon which I have never seen in a complimentary hotel breakfast! Only complaint is that when I didn't want my room cleaned, they put a weird note on my door and came in anyway. The gal at the front desk had bi idea what I was talking about and wasn't aware of the policy to enter even when the guest does not want anyone to enter.

Shout out Jose- Manager training a new lady. Amazing guy. Front of hotel looks much better than the rest of it Who ever works the night shift 10/28 front desk.. probably shouldn't be in hospitality. I went down... spoke to him, he looks at me and straight ignored me. I was going to go down and get my welcome gift that you usually get when checking in but it was such a turn off.. I just left. The AC in the room reeeks of mold. I hate this with hotels because Mold actually can get you sick. ( should know this). Plus I had my baby with me. They lied to me earlier today about being sold out for tonight. Funny thing is, I worked with Hilton. I know systems are slow to update but the room I did request is still up tonight . It's 11:32pm. ( yes Guest can still check in) however it's somewhat unlikely being that we are out of tourist season in this area. Also room had no body wash. Not a hard fix but just had conditioner and a bottle of shampoo sitting on side of tub. Either way to end this review: 1. Rooms were decently clean. That's what Matters the most. 2. Last night staff I get it. Don't be fake but do realize... attitude within hospitality matters here in America lol. 3. I'm not a slow cookie. I don't like being lied to Hilton. :/. ---- I didn't take pictures this time but photos looked decently accurate. 3 stars is what I would give it. Would I stay again.. probably.
