7th floor: view and far from elevator

Been here a handful of times now. Never any major issues, plenty of space in the rooms, on site restaurant and bar with outdoor patio/dining on 5th floor, indoor pool and hot tub. Having status here helps too, free parking instead of $19/nt... this time they even had a thank you goody for me at checkin, thanking us for being globalist. It's nothing flashy or baller, but it's affordable and consistently clean and has on site private, secured parking. A decent, simple complimentary breakfast and late checkout available (status perk) has helped make this our Eugene go to.

Our one bedroom suite was very spacious and comfortable for our family of four, which included a baby and a dog. We booked this hotel because of the kitchen and dining area. It was only a partial kitchen with a mini fridge, but it was just what we needed with plenty of counter space. The bathroom was big. We liked the comfy king bedroom. The big windows had nice views of the colorful autumn leaves that we're not used to seeing in Los Angeles. The suite had three TVs. It's located in the Oakway Center so there are various shops and dining options, which we didn't have time to check out. We just got dinner from the hotel bar. The menu is basic, but the wings and grilled cheese were comforting and satisfying after a long drive. There was also a complimentary breakfast. My family loved this hotel especially my dog. Everything was clean with a very nice and helpful staff. Our stay in Eugene was brief, and this was our pit stop before Portland. We stayed in five different hotels during our recent road trip, and this was our favorite. This exceeded our expectations, and everything was 5 stars.

Hyatt Eugene 11/08/2023-11/09/2023 Pros Perfect for right off the freeway and I felt safe soft close toilet seat Clean John the desk guy was knowledgeable and courteous along with the two women this morning at check out. They gave us 2 waters/2 chocolates Breakfast 6-10 am Bar/Lounge 5pm-11pm Covered parking garage with key access only -4th floor and above. Shopping close by. Starbucks, chevron, Trader Joe's, wine, bars, etc.. 3 tv's in the room Coffee in room Microwave Refrigerator Con's Thin walls are thin we heard upstairs neighbors cell phone ring, them walking, talking, doors open and close. We were on the 6th floor room 625 King bed was squeaky just getting up and down out of it and mattress is cheap. No black out curtains just shades sunshine comes through the sides.

We stayed at Hyatt Place Eugene recently, and I found it both comfortable and reasonably priced. Tip: This Hyatt Place is very conveniently located; it's close to shopping (Lululemon, Nordstrom Rack, etc), an Albertson's, and there's a Chevron gas station close at hand The staffers we interacted with were very personable and friendly. Our room was spacious and clean, with two queen-size beds. The things about the room that made it less than ideal were low water pressure, and a very slow drain in the bath/shower. Back in the plus column, The parking is free & it's in a covered parking structure with security patrolling. All told, I've always enjoyed Hyatt properties and our stay here was quite satisfying overall. I'd stay here again the next time I need a hotel in this area.

We booked 2 rooms for a Thursday night & overall it was a nice, clean, comfortable stay. Our original second room wasn't ready when the first one was and when it still wasn't ready at 4pm they offered us a room further from our family, which we took so we could go rest after a long day. The parking is located on the 4th floor of an outdoor mall/market and the hotel lobby is on the 5th floor. I wasn't expecting this and the elevators were a bit tricky to get on and off of the entire stay. Lots of people using them non stop so there's lots of waiting & that's something to note. The rooms were spacious and everything was clean and comfortable. The toiletries were good quality and smelled very nice. The options for breakfast were great, even including a vegetarian sausage (thank you!). Generous toppings bar for oatmeal, perfect waffles, and lots of juices. Staff we encountered were all friendly and I really have no complaints. We will for sure be staying here again when in Eugene.

    Small but useful.

The service at this place rivals the Four Seasons. Every request has accommodated. Free parking with some level of security. Room was clean and quiet. I was in and out of here quickly but did hit the gym at 5:30am for a quick workout before hitting the breakfast buffet which is included. For the price, the value here is a no brainer. Gym photo included....good for bodyweight HITT workout and nobody else was in there so I blasted my iphone playlist as my ear buds were out of battery (again)

We stayed in the pet-friendly King Suite with the sofa bed, and OMG, this is by far the most beautiful room we have ever stayed in! Our room was huge, and it had big, beautiful glass windows that wrapped around the whole room. The bathroom was pure luxury! This is a prime location, right in the middle of fantastic shops and restaurants!

A little unresponsive through email and phone, but otherwise, pretty good. I tried to get an Explorist upgrade through a corporate program, but the sales department was very unresponsive. I left multiple messages and sent many emails, but they didn't ever get back to me. However, the booking and check-in process was streamlined and the room was spotless. Given the amenities and cleanliness, I would absolutely stay here again! Only thing is if you wanted something out of the ordinary, then it might be a bit of a struggle to get :/

Great location close to restaurants and walking trails and parks by the river. Friendly, helpful staff! We will definitely be staying at Hyatt hotels in the future!

You guys. This Hyatt is freaking amazing!! If you're taking a road trip from California to Washington, please look no further and just do yourself a favor - stop here! the shops and dining downstairs were beautiful, the hotel itself was so new and fresh and the customer service was on point! For COVID concerns, they all wore masks, they had a hot breakfast packed individually for guests in the morning, hand sanitizer stations at all elevators, only four guests allowed at once and they had markers on the ground for where to stand. I called the Hyatt and they said they wait at least 12-hours after a guest checks out to even enter the room to clean it. Parking was free and in the garage (4th floor) and pets are welcome for a fee which was very reasonable. We make the trek to and from WA and CA and with 2 pups and a toddler, we won't be staying anywhere else but here moving forward! Thanks Hyatt Eugene!

Just in time for a sunset!

Beautiful grounds and a lovely breakfast, plus an evening glass of wine are all included. Very good value. Not mentioned in any reviews that I read prior to staying here: a mainline of the Union Pacific Railroad is just three blocks away. At least three times during the dead of night, trains came through with the horns blowing loudly at each of many crossings through this part of Eugene. Unbelievably loud!!! People living in this area must be able to tune it out, but we were NOT used to this. Because the Campbell House is up a hill from the railroad, it seems that horns can be heard unimpeded by other structures (despite the massive 18 floor Ya-Po-Ah Terrace building nearby). I would suggest wearing ear plugs during the night. Nevertheless, I would consider staying hear again if traveling on my own, but my wife would probably veto it we were both traveling. We left sleep deprived to begin our 7+ hour drive home.

The AC in the room reeeks of mold. I hate this with hotels because Mold actually can get you sick. ( should know this). Plus I had my baby with me. They lied to me earlier today about being sold out for tonight. Funny thing is, I worked with Hilton. I know systems are slow to update but the room I did request is still up tonight . It's 11:32pm. ( yes Guest can still check in) however it's somewhat unlikely being that we are out of tourist season in this area. Also room had no body wash. Not a hard fix but just had conditioner and a bottle of shampoo sitting on side of tub. Either way to end this review: 1. Rooms were decently clean. That's what Matters the most. 2. Apparently they have outsourced there parking to a place called parking management. When you check in the front desk informs you that you must scan a QR code outside and pay to park. If you complain to the desk about this the desk tells you to email Parking Management or call them. They "do not answer" their phone and they do not respond to emails. A lot of guests told me they park on the street instead, which is a little dicey given the number of homeless that prowl the streets at night. Unless you are staying just 1 or 2 nights it feels like a rip off to pay $15.50 per night to stay in a non resort hotel. This place has really gone down hill. I could say many other things but I won't because the staff is good, the breakfast is nice, and I like the fact that it is easy to take a nice walk from this location but be prepared because there are many drunken and crazy people walking the streets.
