Bathroom view at the Residence Inn in Sebring
    Bruce K.

Six times I have checked into this Residence Inn and six times I will have checked out. 22 nights at this property over the last six weeks. I've stayed in a few different styles of rooms, including one week when I was upgraded to a double suite (Why? It's just me!) and another week that I had a lake-view balcony. Actually, all of my rooms were lake view rather than parking lot view. The check-in couldn't be nicer and the check-out folks who helped me change my reservation were also amazingly polite. Just a great staff. Most weeks, I leave the DND on the door but when I don't the room cleaning staff does a great job of resetting the room, making the bed, laying out towels and basically making it the way that it's supposed to me. The beds have been comfortable and the room has been spacious enough that I did not feel crowded. There were even a couple of times that I worked the whole day from here (conference calls for work) and it was just fine. Breakfast in the morning is decent with eggs, some sort of meat, bread for toasting, waffles, pastries, fruit, yogurt and cereals. The coffee is not terrific but it is consistent with other Marriott coffee I've had. You'll do better brewing a fresh pot from the machine in your room. In the week, there is a free dinner too. Brats or chicken fajitas or something like that. Since this is an "extended stay" property, the rooms have a mini-kitchen which includes all the pots and pans and tableware you'll need, a small range top and stove, microwave and a full sized refrigerator. The supermarket is barely a mile away and there is a small Mexican restaurant right next door. Internet works very well up until about 8 PM and then it gets very slow. It is free and they do not have an "enhanced" network for Gold and Platinum elites. This is quite a nice property and I've enjoyed my time here.

When I walk inside I have a studio apartment for two with a private lake view. Granted I did pay a little more than the standard room but I feel like it was worth it. A fisherman sits on the lake, the sun is blazing and it hits the water just right to give it a sparkle. That is what makes this stay a little different compared to the standard hotel. The room I have is updated and the couch looks like something I might actually want to buy. It's clean and it has a 'welcome home' charm that you might have at a bed and breakfast. A few downfalls are that the lake attracts bugs even in the parking lot. The pool is within view of the lobby and other areas (missing privacy). There isn't an open restaurant on site but they do offer free meals on various days (standard for Marriott Residence). The cable went out from time to time. The gym is tiny. On a side note, they have complimentary bikes for people to ride on. It's in a commercial (grocery ect..) area but with nearby residential environment. Returnable: 100%

Nice people. Good location. Large rooms. Plenty of parking. But. Bathroom sink was gross. Does this picture mean the housekeepers don't clean? Yuck. Come for the location and the nice property. Just don't use the sink in your bathroom.

    Beautiful pool and outdoor space.

Very, very nice hotel. It has a big beautiful lake in the front of it, and a beautiful smaller lake behind it. We had a room that faced the rear smaller lake and it was so nice and peaceful. There's also a nice area out back where you can go and enjoy looking at the lake. The hotel has a pretty outdoor pool (I don't know if it's heated, but you rarely need a heated pool in Florida!). There's a big common area with tables and umbrellas around the pool to sit outside and enjoy it. The outdoor space is great. There's also a gym (I didn't use it) and a coin laundry room that was very convenient. Our room was a spacious 2-bedroom suite. As with all Residence Inns, it had a fully equipped kitchen (full frig, all pots and pans, silverware, coffee pot & supplies, etc.), a dining area and a living room area. One bedroom had a comfy king bed, the other a comfy queen. The queen room had a wonderful balcony - it was nice to go out there and sit with the quiet peacefulness of the lake. Bathrooms were spotless and roomy and functional. All in all, a very nice - very clean - very comfortable room. The buffet breakfast in the morning was delicious - lots of good eats in a clean, bright room. The lady taking care of the breakfast area was nice and kept the place stocked and clean. On certain weeknights, they do things and have snacks and drinks in the lobby. Some night food trucks, some nights desserts - it's all complimentary and a nice touch. I think it is only Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday. There is plenty of free parking right in front of the hotel. The hotel sits on US 27, but it sits way back and it's not noisy or anything, since there isn't much around it. And, the lake is right in front of it - a wonderful location. The downtown area is just a few miles away (not walking distance), and there are all kinds of fast food places and shops along US 27 going either direction. Along the big lake, there's a nice walking pathway - the lake is beautiful. Of particular note was employee Brittany. She was there when we checked in, and there every day of our stay. Such a nice, welcoming employee - she made it a pleasure to come into this hotel. My rate was insanely reasonable (especially for a 2 bedroom!). I got a lot for my money! I have no complaints at all. I will most definitely stay here again when I find myself in Sebring.

    Gorgeous view from my balcony

Residence Inn in Sebring is my favorite get away retreat. Comfy rooms, great staff and quiet home town feel with a gorgeous view. Love the breakfast and social hour. Always super clean and well maintained.

I love the fresh flowers placed everywhere throughout makes the place feel very vibrant. My room was good, but the balcony views are beautiful. Views without a balcony can be very loud as it is near the major highway. Other than that, there is always someone at the service desk ready to help and they were very pleasant and professional. The fitness room was rather small it can be shared maybe with one or two other people, but the equipment was clean and everything worked. There is a small breakfast that is delivered to your door promptly at the time you check you want them to bring it to you. Overall, I had a nice trip very local to other chain restaurant and a grocery store nearby. Mini refrigerator and microwave inside the room as well. There is a restaurant downstairs, which is convenient if you don't want to go out.

Breakfast is provided every morning, you place your order with the front desk staff. Breakfast was tasty every day. Pool was heated perfectly. I felt safe and comfortable here, I will definitely return.

Arriving- The Jacaranda is on Main Street so finding it is a snap. There is street parking in the front and a large parking lot behind the hotel. Availability- The ACE lunch buffet is only weekdays and only when the snowbirds are here. The remainder of the year, lunch reverts to menu-based. Check the website for availability if you're worried. Ambience- Very, very, very nice. Some folks say elegant. Two large dining rooms. See my picture. It's so nice you might worry about the $$ but don't fret! More about that later. Adult Libations- Sorry, not here. If you are dying for an adult drink, there is a great bar seconds away. Have a great lunch here and then head over as many folks do. Just Yelp it. Customer Service- I've visited many times and never had a problem. They serve most drinks by the carafe here and leave it on the table which is much appreciated by many folks. You pay on your way out at a desk in the hotel lobby. Pricing- It's currently $17.50 for soup, salad, multiple hot entrees, dessert, and drinks. And of course it's ACE. Food- The food is stick to your ribs comfort food. There are basically five stations. 1. Pick up your warm rolls and butter here. 2. Today's homemade soup which varies, and I love most of them. 3. A fresh, beautifully maintained salad bar. See my picture. 4. Hot entrees and sides which are different every day. On my last visit I zeroed in on sliced pork tenderloin which was excellent. Note that they almost always have fried chicken as one of the entrees. 5. Dessert. There is a substantial display, but I never make it there as I'm already stuffed! So a four star, sit down, ACE lunch in a beautiful atmosphere for less than twenty bucks! Sound good? You bet!
