    Outdoor patio seating
    Drew K.

We were in town for a wedding and were told to eat here by multiple locals when asking Sunday brunch recommendations before heading back home. The Grove seems like a lot of things. There's a few different indoor dining areas, an indoor bar with more relaxed seating, an outdoor patio dining area, a live music mini amphitheater that had a solo lady serenading our Sunday brunch, and there's a large venue building and outdoor area off to the side. We sat outside in the patio area because the weather was perfect, and enjoyed the free show while sampling their brunch menu. Service was very personable and attentive, and I noticed it wasn't just our server. It looked like they put a lot of focus on making diners feel welcome, helping them navigate the menus, joking with the tables, answering questions, etc. The brunch menu had the greatest hits you'd expect and both of our choices came out quickly and tasty. Their cocktail menu has some great concoctions as well if you're looking for something spirited to go along with your eggs. Long story short, from our out of towner one visit perspective, I'd tell others to check out The Grove if you're in Tyler and looking for some good food and service in a beautiful surrounding.

THE MINI BEEF WELLINGTONS ARE SO DELICIOUS!!!! If you like a lot of butter in your food, this is gonna be the place for you! Service was all very kind and accommodating. Very ample space for parties of all sizes. The live music and bar area were great!

Great dining experience this evening. It was sister's bday & she chose here. Also chose to sit outside. Amazing weather in February! Had ideas looking over the menu. Our waitress Anna changed our ideas. She suggested Beef Wellington appetizers, Lobster & Filet. Sister chose a kale & quinoa salad. Surprisingly good. Pear and a nice vinaigrette complemented it. Sis chose the ahi poke bowl. Everything was really good. Finished with espresso martini & crème brûlée. Anna had great character, cute smile, Nice artwork on 1 arm & a little avocado tattoo on the other. The artist played his guitar & sang songs but made them his own. Highly recommended this place!

We went to The Grove for a cocktail reception. It was on an outdoor venue that was nice and the weather was perfect as was the service. The appetizers were pretty good but a little messy and hard to eat. The live music was nice. Be prepared for a lot of little kids that are unsupervised and very loud (lots of running and yelling).

I was faced with a predicament that most men face at least once in their life - where to eat dinner after your propose to your girlfriend. While the Grove is the not the nicest restaurant in town, it happened to be the spot that me and said girlfriend shared our first date years ago. I thought it would be a great pick for the occasion. To ensure service was top notch, I spoke to the manager and requested his best server for the night. When we went in 2022, the Grove was average. Nothing stood out but the ambiance. When we came back in 2025, there was no better place we could have spent our engagement dinner - and that is thanks to our wonderful server - Lourden (spelling?) The ambiance here is really fun and unique. Great lighting, intimate setting and great table spacing. The chef had special entrees prepared for our evening that were not on the menu - lamb chops and fish with lobster. The appetizer (beef Wellington and wedge salad) were so fresh. The Wellington was incredibly flaky and melted in your mouth. Lourden ensured that we were taken care of from start to finish. The drinks she recommended were delicious and custom tailored to our tastes. It was just a fun night. Exactly what I had hoped for, but more than I genuinely expected. They delivered when I needed them to most. Give the Grove a try!!

This is a cute spot we just found. The bar has a near vibe and we were here on a Friday night with live music outside. Just a lovely evening. Our server Braeden was wonderful and helped move our meal along as we were headed to a show. The food was delicious! We had the beef Wellington appetizer, definitely worth it! The hubs had the blackened fish special (halibut tonight) that was delightful. He is continuing to say "yum". I had the knife and fork Cesar, the house made dressing was very good, the seasoning on the chicken was also "yum". We are already talking about who we want to bring back.

First time here. Came for Sunday brunch. We definitely were not disappointed. We got chicken chilaquiles and the chicken enchiladas. Holy smokes were they delicious. The green sauce on the enchiladas with the crema was fantastic!!! Mimosas were great and very reasonably priced. Bloody Mary was perfectly spiced and garnished. Will be back for sure.

Anniversary dinner was perfect. Our waiter "Chase" was incredible. He had the evening planned out it seemed. The pace and timing of the drinks was spot on. His and the chefs attention to detail was the final touch! Thank you Chase for helping create a wonderful dining experience! Kind regards Steve and Ana

We stopped in for drinks and to try something new for our anniversary. We just went to the bar, which was gorgeous and homey. I tried a lemon drop on a friend's recommendation, and Hubs was happy they have Yuengling on tap. The bartenders were friendly and so amazing for our first time here. One created a drink for me with strawberry and jalapeño. It was a delicious burn! Since it was busy and we had no reservation for outside seats, we decided to eat in the bar. We started with the mini beef Wellingtons. Holy moly! They literally melted in our mouths. Next time, I could eat that with a salad for my meal. For dinner I tried the chicken Milanese, and Hubs ordered the chicken fried steak. The bartender quickly told him that the chicken fried chicken is better. These dishes were beautiful, and we were so excited that I forgot to take pics before digging in. The chicken was so tender on both! Hubs' mashed potatoes were heavenly. My chicken Milanese was served with a pear salad on top and cheese grits underneath. I couldn't have picked a better mix of flavors. Just delicious, but I got full too quickly. Our bartender said we should have saved room for churros...next time I'll plan ahead. With food this good, I'll have to try something new each time we visit. And the yard was beautiful, so we will definitely make reservations for outside table when there's live music!

We love this place. Make a reservation to ensure you can enjoy it too :) We enjoyed the Chicken Milanese, soup of the day, and Chicken Tinga Tostados for early lunch. The grounds are beautiful and the wait staff is attentive.

Only change I would have is to cook the onions and jalapeño more before adding the eggs to scramble l, but that's something I'm sure they accommodate at time of ordering. As well as the steak omelette needed a bit more flavor to the egg. The steak was tender and delicious however. The pancakes are a bit dry but the taste is good. Large, satisfying meal portions with flavor and a comforting ambiance. We will continue to go back again and again and just ask for a couple of tweaks to be made if possible.

The manager personally came over to ask about my allergy and to assure me they had gone as far as making a new breading mixture for my entree to avoid cross-contamination. Talk about going the extra mile!! Very impressed with the quality of service and our server Kevin did a fantastic job of taking care of us! Now - the food. We had the chips, salsa and queso to start. The queso is thick, creamy and has just the right touch of spiciness. So good! The salsa is finely chopped and very flavorful. 10/10 on all of the above! Everything fried was delicious!! The seasoning in the breading was good and the sides were a good quantity and also very good. But - the desserts...YUM!! We got the chocolate cake which was so fluffy and coated in chocolate that melted in our mouths. The key lime pie was equally high on the yum factor! Don't skip dessert here!! There's plenty of nice local establishments, but some can be pricey and some are just more casual than you want. Scott Williams has perfected the restaurants of Tyler that are balanced between affordable and still quite nice. He got his toes in the water with FDs, before expanding into Javi's, Twelve, and now the fanciest of them all in III Palms. I thought of all those options, Twelve would be the most unique and tasty for my girlfriend and I. We went in an hour before they closed on a Sunday and were seated immediately. We weren't too hungry so we didn't expect to be there past their closing time, and we were ready to go. Our waiter was quick and attentive, bringing us water and helping us decide on drinks from the bar and our order. He also showed us their insane over-the-top whiskey menu. If you like whiskey, give Twelve a shot I guess. To order, I just got their 'Osaka Style' Pressed Roll while my girlfriend got a Sushi Bowl Salad. We got Sweet Potato Fries to share. As for drinks, I started with their Monkey See, Monkey Do, an impressive and firm beverage, while my girlfriend ordered their Destin Dream, a fun Pina Colada-like drink. It wasn't long before our food came out. The sushi was beautifully plated with some wasabi and pickled ginger on the side. I destroyed all the rolls. They were all very fresh and very high quality, which was remarkable for their $13.50 price tag. My girlfriend's sushi bowl looked insane. She ate most of it, but I filled the gaps and devoured the rest of it. The sweet potato fries were crispy and heavenly like all sweet potato fries usually are. I felt adventurous and I got a second drink of their Rose Garden, which was simple but flavorful. Compared to FDs, the menu might be a little more sea-inspired and more adventurous, but I think it leads to better, more unique food, especially with offerings like Oyster Rockefeller and a sushi bar. I also know Twelve does a great brunch as well, so keep that on your radar. Ultimately, as the bill came, the price was very manageable even with the alcohol. It's nice that you don't fully have to break the bank to have a nice meal in Tyler thanks to places like Twelve. I rate it a 12/10. Get it? hahahaha... RIYL: A slightly adventurous, but affordable night out.
