Had a great stay here, quintessential smaller town hotel with solid customer service. The front desk workers were always available and quick to have housekeeping bring towels for the pool when they weren't available. You can borrow a basketball from the front desk to get some shots up if you feel. The breakfast options are standard but solid (eggs, Belgian waffles, fruit, cereal, hot oatmeal, bagels, coffee, hot chocolate, tea). Enjoyed my stay and happy with my choice. Currently staying with them for work during the great blizzard of 2026 and I cannot say enough about how fantastic the entire staff has been and continues to be. Specifically Wayne, when the hotels power went out and there were guests sitting in the lobby having breakfast and coffee, they continued to field the same questions over and over but never showed frustration but they focused on calming nerves, assuring and accommodating everyone. If I'd have to pick anywhere to stay other than home of course, I'd pick here. read more

I haven't even settled in my room yet but I had to stop and write this review. Dear Yelper, Brace yourself, this read might be a tad long ... From the moment I walked through the door I was greeted by all smiles by the beautiful ladies behind the counter while they all assisted other guests! I immediately felt welcomed! I travel so much for work and hotels to me are basically like you walking into your home every night... So being greeted with a warm smile after a long drive or exhausting flight is sooo appreciated! It was now my turn, and I had the pleasure of seeing Robyn. She kindly asked for my name, card and license to check me in and Of course I asked for a room with a water view as the hotel is located near a gorgeous lake! Unfortunately, the rooms I was interested in were fully booked .. however she found me a room which was located on a nice quiet side overlooking these beautiful green trees ! I clearly love nature !! Now that I was the only guest at the front desk, I had the pleasure of chatting with Both of the other beautiful ladies behind the counter! One who went out of her way to check a GPS location for me as my phone was not handy and the other who laughed at my corny jokes!! This might seem rather annoying to the grumpy human or boring to the superficial guest trying to not socialize, but coming from a very crazy work schedule of constantly on the go, these five minutes had me so humbled and turned my very rough day into a much sweeter evening all thanks to Robyn and her colleagues ! Thank you for making me feel comfortable and going above and beyond the basic customer service I've become accustomed to. In conclusion, if you're looking for a place to stay in this area, stay here. You won't regret it! The room I'm in is ginormous and spacious! Super clean, this means a lot since I'm a nutty clean freak and most importantly there's SO MUCH TO DO! Service was excellent, the room vs. price vs cleanliness was pretty solid also. They have a free continental breakfast every morning. The room itself was large and had a kitchenette with a full sized fridge, electric stovetop and decent sized sink. The fridge fan motor kept making a crazy buzzing sound so i had to unplug it before I went to sleep each night. The HVAC was also SUPER loud. I set it to 73 degrees and it would turn on and off every 20 minutes or so. Whenever it turned back on it was like heavy industrial machinery firing up. I had to eventually just turn it off at night so i could go to sleep. It was around 20-40 degrees during the time I stayed so not too bad. If you are staying here when it's colder you might just have to leave the HVAC on and get used to the noise. This property is right across from a lake which is pretty nice but much like all the hotels in the surrounding areas not named Boston.... it's kind of in the middle of nowhere with nothing much around it read more

This is a zeros star hotel if i could give it that amount. Booked this hotel as a "pet friendly" hotel. NOWHERE on the website did it mention anything about an outrageous charge to have a pet but that's what we were told when we arrived. We questioned it and were pushed off to speak to the manager later. Whit talking to a very rude manager a few hours later we were informed that the policy with the charge was "on the website" and "in your confirmation email.". Well it sure as heck wasn't in the email so we searched the website. After 20 minutes of searching we finally found a tiny little sentence in small print about the charge. Also during our discussion with the cranky manager we were told the charge is due to "once that pet enters the room our cleaning staff has to clean the room very well to make sure the dog did nothing wrong" which concerns me thinking that if there's not a dog the staff doesn't do a good job! I got the pleasure of spending a couple weeks here in a lake view king suite. They offer daily breakfast which was tasty and waffle maker is only available on the weekends. Also theres a bar in the lobby that i didn't take advantage of. The staff was very friendly, very responsive room service. They have plenty of parking. The pool is open until 11pm fairly large but is not heated the pool floor looked dirty. They have no whirlpool. The furniture was worn throughout the hotel, the dining table in my room had a loose leg. It is pet friendly with a 24 hour gym and outdoor basketball court. !! Beware the shower temperature had two settings hot and hot AF !! Otherwise Grateful for the attentive staff . read more

It's the staff that makes this great hotel a spectacular experience. This was my second time staying here within the last 6 months. This time was to celebrate our grandsons birthday. The desk staff remembered us from our last visit. Very welcoming. After the birthday party we came back to the hotel to regroup and hopefully take the family out to dinner. Our bartender Joel (who also remembered us for our stay the previous December) suggested having them back here. The pool, basketball court, he would help if needed. We did just that. Today our family reefers to this experience as their second party. Marriott is a great hotel. The Residence Inn has great rooms. Very spacious, clean, ready to accommodate your stay. We stayed here as part of a block of rooms reserved for my friend's wedding and had an absolute blast. My husband and I love Residence Inns - the rooms are spacious, clean and each have their own kitchenette! We went down to the hotel bar and lounge after the wedding and the bartender, Joel, was SO accommodating and kind. He made sure we were all taken care of (there were about 20 of us), continuously bringing waters between rounds as well as leaving us with complementary snacks on the table. The front desk attendants we're great also - very efficient and nice. The only reason I'm giving a 4/5 is because the bathroom door didn't lock (there were 5 of us sharing a suite) and there was a minor drain issue with the tub/shower - but nothing detrimental! Staff and service were superb!! read more

THIS PLACE CANCELLED MY FRIEND'S HOTEL SUITE, ONE DAY BEFORE THEIR WEDDING!!!! Our friends had a wedding on 5/27/2018, but their hotel suite was cancelled on 5/26/2018, ONE DAY before their wedding!!!! This hotel suite was booked one year ago, but it was cancelled with no notice whatsoever! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY ABSURD AND UNACCEPTABLE. I would give negative stars if I could!!! DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A STRESS-FREE, PLEASANT EXPERIENCE - ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE ABOUT TO HAVE A WEDDING!!!! This place is AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL and does not live up to ANY expectation!!! Residence Inn by Marriott Boston Bridgewater was not helpful, NOT AT ALL. All Marriott said was the hotel overbooked and had to cancel my friends' suite. Even after we explained the hotel suite was for a wedding on THE NEXT DAY, this place did NOT try to accommodate us at all! The staff just kept saying they had to cancel due to overbooking! Moreover, the staff offered ZERO help in trying to help us find a new hotel. THEY DID NOT CARE, NOT ONE BIT. We had to find a NEW VENUE for wedding photos; to call and inform all make-up artists, hair stylists, florists of the hotel location change; and more!!! No bride and groom (No customer in general!) should have to experience that!!!!! I thought Marriott strives to provide excellent service for an exceptional experience - THAT IS THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE OF WHAT WE RECEIVED!!! Since they were forced to find a new hotel room on a Saturday for Sunday on MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND, there were extremely limited options. The new hotel room was much much smaller (remember we originally booked a suite here) - so the entire wedding party was forced to have their hair and make-up done IN THE BATHROOM!!!!!! We had literally around 10 people in a small doubles hotel room because we had no choice!!!! The bride had to take her make-up and hair photos in the bathroom as well!!!! Did Marriott compensate us for causing this HUGE amount of unnecessary distress and trouble?? They just refunded us and gave us a voucher for a future stay.... DO YOU THINK WE WOULD WANT TO STAY THERE IN THE FUTURE?!? AH, YOU MUST BE JOKING!! When we asked to speak with a manager, the staff just kept repeating their manager is out for the day.... REALLY?!? Had to stay for two months due to covid and our apartment wasn't going be ready for a bit so we opted to stay here in the mean time. Everyone was super friendly and attentive. There were a few times where I would call down to get a new comforter or sheets and they forgot about me. One time a woman at the front desk said to put my old comforter outside of the door and they'll exchange it for a new one. They took the old one but didn't leave the new. Three hours went by and I called down and the woman said housekeeping left and I had to wait until Monday. It was a Saturday. I was a bit upset and she ended up bringing up a new one finally. It's always been that if housekeeping isn't there the employees could bring up whatever someone needed. She seemed really agitated about it. That woman in particular seemed inconvenienced Everytime my husband or I needed to call down to the front desk. All the other employees were amazing and extremely accommodating. We stayed in a studio suite and it was very nice and clean. Except for someone smoking marijuana and that's all we could smell in the bathroom. I called down to ask for an air freshener or whatever they had to mask the smell. It continued to go on until we left. read more

Had to go to Bridgewater for a business trip. While there, I stayed at the Residence Inn. It was a mixed experience. The evening snack and breakfast were both good; nothing special but definitely not bad. The hostess for the evening get together was very personable. The restaurant was good. The property is clean and comfortable. The service at check in was friendly, fast and courteous. However, the WiFi didn't work. The hotel staff tried to help but couldn't get it to work. They referred me to the help desk at the internet provider. The internet provider tried several times but never was successful at getting the internet working. I was okay with the hotel until check out. I was very disappointed. I went to pick up my folio. There were three employees behind the desk talking. None of them recognized me. Instead, they continued to talk. I asked who could help me. One of them looked up, slightly miffed and said she can help you (pointing to the employee nearest the register. That employee didn't say a word, no greeting, no can I help you, nothing. I said I needed my folio. She still didn't say anything. She handed me the folio without even a thank you for staying here or is there anything else? It was one of the strangest check out's I've ever experienced. read more

Stayed this week because my usual go to (Courtyard Raynham) was booked. Nice rooms, but they need to be cleaned and made up properly. If you expect to be greeted by a happy, smiling front desk person or bar tender, good luck. The staff acts like they are doing you a favor to let you stay there. This should be a motel 8 and not a Marriott. The one huge upside is that if you are a chain smoker, you can enjoy the outside recreation area and fire pit with the staff and other smokers! read more

Booked a night here for visiting family, but had to reschedule due to Covid. I first tried to just cancel the reservation so I could figure out when I was going to reschedule later, but that was apparently not allowed even given the global pandemic and my documentable positive test results. I then called to try to address the issue, and was told that I could just change to a different date. Since they were unable to tell me on the phone when would be a date I could move my reservation to that would be equivalent cost, they advised me it would just be easier for me to do it on my own on the website. I attempted to do this, but when I tried to change the date, I was hit with an error message and told to try again. After going through this multiple times on different days, I decided to call in again to have them manually change the dates for me. The staff on the phone told me that the message on the website was wrong, it was not an intermittent error and I would never be able to change my reservation on the website. The staff were incredibly rude on the phone and would not give me the advertised rate on the website, and instead I was forced to pay $40 over the online fare, or would otherwise have to forfeit that amount already paid. During the storm last week a tree fell on our house ripping our power lines off the house so my fiancée booked a sweet at marriot hotel in bridgewater for us for the night so we would have power and heat and looked foward to being able to enjoy the pool...well when we arrived they handed us a flashlight and told us the elevators were down (no big deal) but when we got up to our room there was no power apparently they only had generators for the loby and hall but failed to tell us they had no power in the rooms( the whole reason why we booked in the first place) so by then the storm was getting worse and to dangerous to travel in so we ended up staying in a dark freezing room with no heat with the kids (one being a 1 year old)if that wasn't bad enough we were awoken at 2 am by a large group hanging out in the hall because you know the hall was the only place with heat and light and who wants to stay in a dark rooms so we complained to the front desk beforr having them moved to the loby..it gets better when we woke up that morning and we could actually see the room in the daylight we had discovered we were sleeping in a disgusting nasty soiled sheets of coarse I couldn't even take a hot shower after finding out what we slept in all night due to the lack of power we left and emailed the company asking for a full refund because who the heck wants to pay over 200 to stay in a dark freezing room and disgustingly dirty sheets with bodily fluids and this lady's and gentlemen is the response we got from the company that they would only refund us $50 after emailing them what a joke...I'm disgusted that this is how they handle customer service I'm appalled they did not refund us in full after all this or at least try to make things right I could have stayed home with no heat and power and saved over 200 and at least have had clean sheets! This is so wrong of them so if you don't want to sleep in soiled stained sheets don't book with marriot hotels! I'm so disappointed in the service. I called a week ahead to confirm i could get an adjoining room to my sister, the bride and they assured me it would be all set. I go to check in and they say there are none available and I'd be next to her. Well she checks in less than 1 hour after I check in and nope we aren't next to each other. We stayed here for over 2 weeks and I was very happy with my experience. The staff was friendly and the hotel itself was beautiful. It was built in late 2016 and they offer a pool, free wifi, free breakfast and a gym. There's even a fire pit and basket ball courts. It's located right off of rt 24 and close to 495 which makes it very convenient. My room was cleaned so thoroughly by our house keeping attendant, Maria. Their customer service exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this hotel. read more
