I decided to call them a few years ago, and they've been my go-to HVAC guys ever since. They show up on-time, are fairly priced, and their technicians are cool, trustworthy guys. Scheduling is generally easier than with most HVAC companies too. Great work. * 2023 - Wayne showed up on short notice as my home office breaker kept tripping just for the fun of it, and he installed surge protection while he was at it. Fewer old-wiring fires for THIS house! * 2021 - Isaac and Devin came to install a Quiet Cool Whole House Attic Fan, and I almost look forward to warm weather more to use the fan than I do the actual niceness outside. * 2021 - Jovanny, Isaac, and Devin all came out to install a trio of ceiling fans in our otherwise-uncooled house, which are running in one direction or the other basically 24/7/365 * 2021 - Andrew came out to service our furnace which had gone out during the April cold snap. It was broken in a way that would've been paying ~the cost of a crappy furnace to repair a crappy furnace. Donald arrived a day later to install the furnace Andrew sold us, a nice midrange American Standard. * 2019 - Hector installed new 220V line for use with our EV charger. We had a problem with the unit months after installation, but Hector came back out to test and verify their work was not the issue - and he was right, it was the unit. He made it easy for me to reach out to the charger manufacturer with the details needed to expedite the resolution of the faulty unit. I'd highly recommend Absolute for work on your electrical box, wiring in your house, furnace installation, and other larger-scale jobs. If you just need a couple plugs or a ceiling fan installed, you might balk at the pricetag, and might consider looking to a local odd-jobs tradesperson instead.

I have heard they have a new plumbing manager and several homeowners have been messed over. Patrick and TY are not communicative and straight up do not respect the homes or owners they work with. I went with the Trane Run Tru 95% efficient furnace. This furnace has broken down every season. Each time the parts failed in it. I was sold on this was a Trane product and wouldn't have many issues. Well I have had an issue foe each of the 3 years i have had the furnace. Trane is good about replacing parts for the 1st 3 years but then you're on your own.. Whenever calling Mechanical Solution now Home Guardian i was always met with good intentions but then bait and switch on the repair costs. Now they don't even answer their phone. I wouldn't go with this company as the products they sell aren't that good and the service fees and hidden fees aren't worth losing your money and time over.

Matt got only gave a competitive price, but was the only one familiar with the Ecobee smart thermostat that I wanted to use to control the humidifier. When I hired Matt, he was extremely prompt, super reliable, and took great care with my installation. My Ecobee thermostat required an extra wire to trigger the humidifier and Matt spent an extra two hours just fishing a wire through my house without having to cut through any walls (which I was very much trying to avoid). It turned out to be a perfect installation and I was extremely impressed with his pride of handiwork. He even refused to bill me for the extra time to fish my new wire because he wanted to stick to his original quote so I wouldn't have an unexpected cost. Plus, on top of all that, he serviced both of my furnaces for free. I don't think it's common to tip service professionals, but needless to say he earned every bit of the tip I gave to compensate for the extra time and attention to detail. Even after the installation Matt was concerned about his customer and followed up with me on how the humidifier was performing. As it turned out, my water pressure was very high and every time the humidifier cycled it would make a big knock through the house. True to character, Matt showed up and installed a device on the water line that quiets the pressure changes as well as some pipe insulation to deaden any residual noise. And then he tried not to charge me! About eight months later we ended up moving for my job and the new home buyer wanted the HVAC certified to be in good order. I reached back out to Matt and asked if he could come by and take a look to certify there were no concerns. He did a full HVAC maintenance of both units and wrote up a letter for me to share with the buyer. And again, tried to say it was no charge. If you're looking for a trustworthy, reliable, honest, and knowledgeable HVAC professional, Matt is your number one choice! He even offered to help me with a virtual consultation after my move if I need it. Honestly, there are a few things I miss after moving out of state and Matt is one of them!
